After opening the ceiling, he took the time to properly investigate and determined the issue wasn't a leak at all--the peeling paint was caused by a chemical reaction between the newly painted ceiling and liquid detergent that had spilled from the laundry room above. He could have easily told me it was a plumbing problem and charged accordingly. Instead, he explained everything clearly, saved me unnecessary work and expense, and treated the situation with real integrity. On top of that, he's genuinely a nice and interesting person to talk to--something you don't always expect during a home repair. Hello, Ruma plumbing comes Highly recommended by me. I was out of the country and called Ruma Plumbing when My wife was faced with a broken well pump, no water was making it to the house. Wael, owner said no problem was over at my place in Lovettsville that day assesed the problem, returned with parts the next day, pulled well pump out of the ground and fixed. All work was done by the third day, he also changed some leaking valves around my water tank, I may have or may not have told him if you have time can you take care of these small things also. Wael the plumber was amazing. He has installed a water heater for me in the past and recently installed a shut off valve for a toilet. While he was shutting off the water, he did a quick inspection and surprisingly found a slow leaking pipe. The pipe was green with corrosion with a small and slow leak which I never saw. He replaced that as section of the pipe as well. Wael definitely know what he's doing. He can sweat or solder and use the pro press, depending on your needs and situation.
