It broke my heart to have my old reliable plumber retire. I'm happy he was able to sell his company but the new company kept the employee plumbers and I lost the ability to interact with the actual GUY. I don't even know where to begin with this business. I have been burned by many plumbers and contractors so my guard is always up. It started with an odd smell coming from the vents under my house. Jermey came out and verified we had a leak under our crawl space. It was not just a leak but a small lake under there. It had been going on for quite sometime. Boss Jeremy contacted me with the news of what was needed and was so helpful after that. I had to contact a remediation crew who was also wonderful. Once it dried they were able to get under the house the process went very smooth. Jeremy even offered to temporarily fix the leaks so that I could use the kitchen and laundry. I didn't mind goin without it doe a few days. Jermey worked to get my job done quickly and I wasn't even out for very long anyway. Always communicated with me and took photos so I could see exactly what was happening. Got a new water heater after 3 weeks fighting with home warranty assigned scammer plumber. Decided to terminate the home warranty and yelped the best plumber in my area. Glad to find Plumbing Buddies! Some people here said he didn't return calls, happened to me too, but i would recommend to just keep trying. He might be in the basement or garage or somewhere without phone reception! and voice mails do get full! Luckily i was able to reach Jeremy on my second try and the next day i got a brand new water heater. GREAT service! Dropped my very expensive rigid ortho-k contact lenses down the sink drain. Called in and talked to Jeremy who told me that since it's a Sunday it'd be considered an emergency to have a plumber swing by so it'd be a lot more expensive than normal. He said that he'd feel bad for charging me for such an easy process, so he very graciously walked me through the process of disassembling the p trap pipe by myself and I was able to retrieve my contact lenses!! 5 stars all the way!! Called about a running toilet that I could not get fixed via diy. Originally we discussed replacing the toilet. Upon further discussions and inspections it was gonna be cheaper for me to just get the parts replaced that had been corroded from hard water, the toilet itself was just fine. Jeremy had to special order my parts and make a second trip out to do the actual installation. The corrosion was so bad it took longer than expected to remove and install the new parts. He stuck to his fair and honest price of the job even with the extra time and trips out to my house. Stand up company not looking to just take your money. He will also be back next week to fix a leaky shower and try and diagnose if I have some other leak that can be explained by my outrageous water usage by Pomona water company. Jeremy and Jeremy were both awesome! I had called early in the morning because all my showers were backing up and within 2hrs they had arrived to check the damage. They snaked the main line and temporarily fixed the clog/back up, but unfortunately it turns out that the pipes had collapsed due to tree roots growing into it. So Jeremy helped us set up a financing plan for the pipe rework in these tough times. It just shows how much he's willing to help out his customers. So now we just need to wait for a third party to A-OK the job and then he's going to start on replacing the pipe. read more

These guys are above and beyond your expectations. An honest company and great guys. The customer service is just the icing on the cake they get the job done fast and efficient. After going through several dishonest plumbers and bad jobs, Plumbing buddies was able to come out and get the job done that others could not. Honestly I would say skip the rest cause your going to end up calling them to fix other guys bad work. Pros: Respond quickly. Cons: Dishonest Arrogant Expensive/Overprice Please do not lie. I have the original contract I can show anyone that want it. After completion they changed the contract terms without my approval. They also said they have voice recordings of me. When I asked for it he immediately lied and said it is for their internal accounting purposes. My tenant had an emergency with a gas leak that needed to be taken care of. I called around and everyone was busy. That is when I found plumbing buddies. They answered immediately and told me that they were able to come out the next day. I met them at 8 am in the morning 7/6. I knew that it wasn't going to be cheap and agreed to do a gas leak detection that was $450 dollars. I called around just asking for prices and they were the highest. Because of the situation I was kind of left with no choice so I agreed to it. After meeting them they started performing the gas leak detection and told me that they will keep me updated on the situation. I decided to leave premise and wait for their call. After two hours I was told the good & bad news. There were several leaks and re-piping would be needed. On the phone they told me the cost to re-pipe was $2700 minus the $450 for the gas leak detection discount they would give me. I was a little hesitant and asked them if they could provide a better discount they refused and told me the reason is they will need to install all new pipes and re-thread them. It is very labor intense and will take several days. I agreed to the price. They started working on it and at the end of their shift they told me they were about 80% done. I was a little shocked at how fast they were. I decided to visit the next day 7/7 and was shocked to learn they totally took advantage of the situation and lied to me. Instead of using re-piping they took a hose and ran it up to the attic. They told me that that is what I agreed upon which is a total lie. In the contract it said re-pipe and not replace with hose. Upon finding this out, I texted Mike total how disappointed I am and this wasn't what I agreed to. Mike acted arrogant said I didn't know what I am talking about. Just because I am not a plumber doesn't mean I do not know how to research. After several text message exchanges he said he will install metal pipes on the outside but not on the inside. Which only fulfills half of his obligation. He accused me of not trying to pay even though I never made mention of not paying. I paid for the gas leak detection before any work was done and the half the re-piping before they started any work. I had to do it again I would NOT deal with them. They are dishonest and took advantage of my situation to rip me off. UPDATE: They did come back out to fix the exterior part of the piping to metal piping but also changed the term of the contract to protect them. read more

It was a dark and stormy night, but all was well. You have a nice cozy home, with food in the fridge, a great show on television, and you know you'll have a nice warm shower before bed . . . Oh wait! (record scratch!) The water heater is busted! Dreams of a nice hot shower have just faded into the abyss of home warranty night mares and frigid water . . . there's even water flooding your garage! The home warranty was a waste of time and money, but thankfully I was able to find Jeremy at Plumbing Buddies. We have already had two full days without warm water as we waited for the home warranty plumber to even deem us worthy of having a written estimate - just to find out they were going to ream us with out-of-pocket costs that didn't make sense. Plumbing Buddies were only a few miles away, and they were able to give a quick estimate and get the job done in only a few hours. They were even able to work with ME, and I'm not easy. Spending money on these types of things is never fun - it is always unexpected, and it always comes at a bad time (What's a good time?). That's why it is so important to have a team that will keep it real, and that will not take advantage of your lack of plumbing knowledge. Horrendous experience. They lied and were rude, what an unpleasant experience. Initially after the polite greetings and what seemed to be good convo went south over the shoes issues. They left black foot prints on our carpet as they entered the bathroom to check the plucked up pipe. I offered them 2 plastic bags to use as booties for their inspections since they didn't bring any. Instead of putting them on, they walked out dismissing me and lied flat out to the land lady saying I refused their inspection and they could not enter. You've got to be kidding me, right?! Who in the world would refuse repair man from entry so the issues you complain about can remain untouched? That's one STUPID LIE, And why? Becuz you can't take your shoes off and somehow that's a dignified reasons to not respect other people's homes? When you have no manners and downright ignorant and sloppy, you certainly can't hide that. Can you? Onto another plumber for sure. The $50 inspection fee is such waste of money and enduring such arrogant behavior certainly isn't a Monday morning I was expecting in my own home. Highly do NOT recommend. We have a property also that we rent out in another city and we have never at any point interrupt their living and/or treat them as if these "renters" aren't worthy of respect of their home and living. And yes, if our contractors make anyone uncomfortable, we do not hire them again. People like you, I will never do business with, and I do encourage either my renters or my clients to review any services that they find unethical such as yours.
