I truly wanted to give this place a 5 star review, especially after reading all the other positive experiences. Our initial repairs of a kitchen line leak were handled well. Jeremy diagnosed the problem over the phone and came out to do the repairs in a timely manner. However, of note, they don't patch walls for their repairs. They leave that up to you because supposedly the city of Glendora doesn't allow them to patch walls. Anyways, since we had a positive experience with them the first time I asked them to inspect a new leak that I suspected to be the dishwasher line. I was clear from the beginning in my message to them that I felt it was the dishwasher line. They were scheduled to come out on a Wednesday to do the repair. We blocked out our schedule, sent the dog to day care and get a call they had an emergency can't make it. No problem, I can understand things happen. We reschedule for Friday, we do the same thing blockout our schedule and send the dog to day care so she won't bother them. The technician arrived and immediately stated we don't work on appliances and that was the end of our inspection. Yet, they never once mentioned that when I had explicitly messaged them that I suspected it was dishwasher line. Why? Because they didn't actually read the message. Now, 2 days of coordinating and waiting with still no repair. I have to find a new technician to come out and complete the repair. Jeremy the owner told me, "I apologize if I missed that. Both our time was wasted and sorry for that." Yes, you did miss it. Yes, time and money was wasted. I accept the apology but I can't recommend their service after the experience. read more

If you're searching for honest plumbers with excellent experience, look no further! My husband and I were in escrow for a home and had another plumbing agency perform the inspection. They had informed us that we had a "crack" in our saddle of our sewage line and that we would require excavation of the line and replacement which would potentially cost up to $17K!!!!! Price tag alone gave us second thoughts about moving forward with the home. Last month, I called several plumbers to give me an estimate to replace my water heater, then Jeremy called me and give me over the phone estimate which was lower than most of the other guys I spoke to. I gave him the job and he came to install it. Jeremy was a friendly guy and social, we spoke and talked for a while, then another Jeremy showed up to work with him, it turned out those two guys are in-laws, they worked so well together and both were having fun working, I really enjoyed talking with them. Didn't show and didn't call on the day they said they would come out. I ended up going to home depot for a shovel, saw, pvc glue, pipe fittings and fixed the issue myself so I wouldn't need to go the gym to get a shower that weekend. Probably saved a good chunk of change, and have most of the stuff for a future repair now. These fellows could be excellent plumbers, unfortunately I wouldn't know. ** If I have another problem I don't feel confident fixing myself I'd still give them a shot since they likely want this to turn into a 5 star. We had a leak coming from our second floor shower to our first floor kitchen ceiling. I called Plumbing Buddies and they sent someone the same day. They were able to fix it, but the next day it started leaking again. They came out again, this time it was the owner Jeremy, and he was able to stop the leak, but the following day it was leaking again. So once again, they came back out to stop the leak. It was a process of elimination. I guess where I'm going with this is, they were there for me until the problem was solved. Through out it all they were very professional and punctual. I called him about a water heater issue and he promptly came out the next day at his said time. He Advised that I could continue using my tankless water heater but that it would probably eventually run its course and that we could wait to fix. I thought better of it and had him fix the problem immediately. He promised to come out on a Monday to replace my water heater and instead came on Saturday morning with the new heater and was done in 2 hours. First off I don't think anyone is prepared for a sewer main plug up and why do they always happen on a weekend or during a gathering? Anyway ours happened on a Saturday morning and thinking it was an average small roots in the line plug up I decided to search for a plumber rather than haul a snake from HD to the house. Going thru Yelp is not an easy task seeing as there are so many with four or five stars to choose from and you hope to pick the right one. Well luckily we did. What we all thought was a hit and run rooter job ended up taking four days due to roots from a tree that had been removed over fifty years ago. I have purchased my house about 6 month ago. It is a 1955 house with "Original" water line in the house. The previous owner did some upgrades but did not follow the code at all. Therefore, the water pressure is not the same for the whole house. I have decided to ask a plumber to take a look my water line. I called Plumbing Buddies in the morning and they showed up in the afternoon to take a look my water line. They have seen some potential leaking due to material and work quality that previous plumber's work. They recommend to repipe the whole house. It is not a cheap project and could go wrong if hired a wrong plumber. I called Plumbing Buddies next day and ask for detail quotation. They provided me the material will be using and what will be done in the quotation. I did some research about the material and found out they use superior quality material. You can see from the image that they use "UPONOR" pipe. I decided to go with them and they showed up couple weeks later as promised. The whole project took exactly 5 days as they mentioned in the beginning. I have new pipes all over my house and I can feel the water is much fresher than before. On the invoice, it states 20 years warranty. I am sure with their quality of work, it should last forever. By the way, they even help me to add a water line in my back yard for free. Really honest people and professional. My water heater is about 15 years old now. Once it quits, I definitely will call them to replace it for me. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this business. I have been burned by many plumbers and contractors so my guard is always up. It started with an odd smell coming from the vents under my house. Jermey came out and verified we had a leak under our crawl space. It was not just a leak but a small lake under there. It had been going on for quite sometime. Boss Jeremy contacted me with the news of what was needed and was so helpful after that. I had to contact a remediation crew who was also wonderful. Once it dried they were able to get under the house the process went very smooth. Jeremy even offered to temporarily fix the leaks so that I could use the kitchen and laundry. Got a new water heater after 3 weeks fighting with home warranty assigned scammer plumber. Decided to terminate the home warranty and yelped the best plumber in my area. Glad to find Plumbing Buddies! Some people here said he didn't return calls, happened to me too, but i would recommend to just keep trying. He might be in the basement or garage or somewhere without phone reception! and voice mails do get full!
