After the 4th leak in our polybutylene pipe I decided it was time to repipe since is was obvious there would be a number 5. Did some research and found Plumbing Express and a couple of other companies. Found the information on their website very useful and prompted me to call them. I explained my problem to a very nice lady that answered the phone and told her I was interested in having my home repiped. She said she would have Blake Mowe call me to discuss and I should have a call back within the hour unless he was on the phone. Blake called and since he lives close by he was familiar with the floor plan of my home. He gave me a ball park figure and we made an appointment for him to stop by later in the day. After his review he gave me a quote with was a little less but still within the what I thought was a reasonable figure. He wrote out the contract and we scheduled for the next Tuesday. Rhonda called me on Monday to confirm. We went over who would be here and the payment arrangements. Tuesday morning Paul and another gentleman (I apologize but I can;t remember his name but he was very nice also) arrived promptly at 8:00. They were very careful to cover everything and got to work. All of the repiping was completed that afternoon and of course there were holes in the walls and ceilings but I had been assured that once they were repaired I would not be able to tell the difference. We had a couple of glitches on my hardwood flooring. Paul to pictures and emailed them to his office (this was late afternoon). I called Blake the next morning to touch base and they were already aware of the issue and he said Ed would be contacting me. Ed called later on and we made arrangements for him to stop by when he finished his current call. He came by and resolved one issue that day. I had called the business that had done my flooring installation and had gotten a couple of names that could do the floor repair. I told Ed that I had left messages and expected a call the next day and would let him know as soon as I found out anything. Received a call the next morning and explained the issue to the repairman. He told me his fee to do the repair and said he could stop by in a few hours. I called Blake and let him know what I would be charged and we agreed to reduce the amount of the final payment check by that amount. Keith (I don't know where they got him from but they better do whatever they need to to keep him) arrived on Wednesday morning (again promptly at 8:00), covered everything and got to work repairing the walls and ceilings. I don't know how he does it but he makes it look so easy. He picked up the paint to match my walls and ceiling paint Thursday morning and arrived shortly after 8:00 again. Everyone in this company is very punctual and show up when they say they will - amazing in this day and age to find that dedication). He finished all of the painting and I am sitting in my living room writing this and honestly can not tell where the repairs were made in the ceiling. The rest of his repairs were just a good. If you have the polybutylene pipes in your home and have not had a slab leak or returned home to find you house flooded you are very lucky but you can expect to have one or more leaks in the future. When that happens I cannot recommend Plumbing Express any more highly. Everyone was very professional and took care of any issues I had without question. They also left the work area as clean as possible but there is always going to be dust residue but that is no big deal. *Gentleman that did the floor repair just left and looks great. read more

I did a lot of shopping around and got about 5 estimates to replace my polybutylene plumbing, but after meeting with Blake Mowe of Plumbing Express, I felt like I found the company I wanted to entrust this big job to. Blake was extremely knowledgeable about the entire replacement process and what really won me over was how he explained the sheet rock replacement and repair process after the initial job was done. He basically let me know that the goal of Plumbing Express was to ensure that you couldn't even tell that they had been there after they finished the job. (and he was right!) It takes a special skill to touch up stippled ceilings to the point where you can't tell anything was ever cut out, but he did it. I had been dreading this job for quite sometime, but I'm glad it's done now, and I'm glad I hired Plumbing Express to do the job. VERY SATISFIED - Friendly, Courteous, Knowledgeable, Professional and Dependable.... What more can I say... I am one of those "Do it yourself" type of guys but when it come to certain types of tasks I use my right mind and call a professional. House pipes started knocking when turning on various faucets and just couldn't understand why, did a little reseach and found out there were a couple possible causes, narrowed the issue down to the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV), made some adjustments until I was able to call a plumber. After reviewing input from previous customers I made my choice to call Plumbing Express. First initial call - Plumber (Gregory) arrived on time per the agreed time made by the scheduler (Jeremy). Gregory listened to my issues, completed his analysis and explained in detail what was required to replace the PRV, after further discussions regarding the PVR and other potential plumbing issues I was provided a verbal quote which I would say was a VERY reasonable. I was not able to have work completed on that date so I was provided a written quote and tentative arrangements were made for the following week. I received a call from Jemery the following week and arrangements were made for plumber to return and complete job. Recommend these folks very highly. I had the gray polybutylene pipes in my house that finally gave way. After looking around, I found Plumbing Express, who specialize in replacement of gray poly pipes. Blake Mowe came out to my house and walked me through the exact process that would take place. I was very concerned about having walls torn out and tiles removed. Especially in the bathrooms because I just had them remodeled and didn't want brand new tile ripped out! Let me tell you, these guys know what they're doing. They are very professional and organized and finished the repipe in one day. You can tell they are experts in this type of work. When they cut out the walls they save the pieces of Sheetrock and number them. When repairing the walls they put them back like puzzle pieces. The drywall repair was excellent. Like they say, when they were done I couldn't tell they were even there. Major plumbing issues are a huge hassle, but I can't say enough about how much at ease these guys made us feel through the whole process. One word of advice to anyone going through this and is having problems with their homeowners insurance. If they tell you you're not covered do this: have a leak detection service come out and find the leak, then insist on an agent coming out and doing a moisture probe on your floors. Plumbing express replaced the connector hoses for my kitchen and bathroom sinks with flexible steel braided hoses less than two weeks ago. Unfortunately, all available hoses available in the market are made in China. The polymer tubing inside the protective braided steel pipe, which are also made in China, affected the water quality with regard to taste and smell. The plastic tube imparts special taste and odor to the running water resembling a plastic or polymeric type material. I explained the situation to Mr. Danny Natarus, the operations manager, in a letter. Mr. Natarus replaced the flexible hoses with rigid cupper pipes within a few days and in a timely manner. We greatly appreciate the prompt response that we received from Plumbing Express to correct the issue, which speaks volumes about their customer service. The workmanship was excellent with on-time performance from start to finish. I recommend their services for quality plumbing work. After a series of leaks in our East Cobb home's copper water piping, we called Plumbing Express on the recommendation of a neighbor. That same day (Thursday) Blake Mowe came to our house, explained their comprehensive re-piping process and provided an estimate. (Part 2 added) This is part one of the review, since they are coming out to conduct the repairs later today, but so far it has been fantastic. They came out last minute on a Friday afternoon to provide an estimate (a 12pm call resulted in a 2pm visit, which was just awesome). Tommy identified the break in the pipe from the water meter to the house and gave a reasonable estimate for repair. Their crew unfortunately wasn't available to fix it that weekend, but were able to schedule something first thing on Monday morning. When I mentioned that I was going to grab a wet vac from Home Depot so we could periodically turn on the water for filling water jugs, giving my kid a bath, etc. over the weekend, he was kind enough to let me borrow his, saving me a trip and some money. Looking forward to a good resolution to this issue! Alright! We had to replace a water heater in our new condominium. We called numerous companies to have them give us a quote. Jim came in, recommended couple products. We wanted to research about the product so we had him hold for few weeks. He followed up, answered all our questions and had product marketing rep to come to talk with us to answer our questions. Even though that product did not work in our household, we decided to go ahead and install our new water heater with Jim. Located this company through their website after being told that I had a leak under my slab and needed my house re-piped. Talked to Blake over the phone and was given a quote based on what I told him about my house. When Blake came out to the house to look at the job first hand he told me the price was what he had originally quoted. I was told that the workers would out on a certain date and would complete the job in one day. I was told that the drywall man would be out the next day to do the drywall repair and paint. The drywall repair and paint took a day and a half. Everything I was told was true. This team was a well oiled machine that new exactly what they were doing. The price was great as well as the workmanship. Ed's crew did a great job. Could not have asked for better. Their price was the best I could find and this included drywall and paint. We found out we had to replace our polybutylene pipes. This is a huge, messy job which involves opening up many places in your walls and ceilings to access the pipes. Our house was constructed with poly pipe and finally after several major leaks, we needed to replace it. We called a number of plumbers as well as turn-key plumbing contractors. Many could not handle the job especially on a turn-key basis i.e repiping and sheetrock repair. Plumbing Express gave us a very competitive estimate and most importantly told us they could start the next day. Their work was incredible and we had water service by the end of the first day. We had the poly blue pipe garbage in the house when we bought it not realizing we were sitting on a time bomb as my house is built on a slab. The big leak finally hit and my husband called 2-3 plumbers to get a quote. We recently had a clogged sewer injection pump in our basement. Because it was an emergency, we called Rotor Rooter. When they came out, they misdiagnosed our problem and said we would need a new injector pump (even though the house was only 22 month old), so we decided to get a 2nd opinion. Plumbing Express actually returned our call within 10 minutes on Christmas Eve. Even though, because of the holidays, they did not have workers available until the following Monday, the plumbers did show up as promised within the 4 hour window. After opening it up they discovered it was a clog, and wrote up an invoice and thoroughly explained the costs before starting any work. It saved up hundreds of dollars. We could not be happier with Plumbing Express and would highly recommend them. They are looking into a yearly maintenance program that we suggested and hope to hear about that soon. Called to have my failing copper piping (pin hole leaks) replaced. Blake arrived as scheduled and provided a price. Decided on CPVC (tired of metal piping problems and didn't consider PEX since the water supply can have elevated chlorine at times). Doug and Jasmin arrived to start work at the scheduled time and worked continuously until the job was completed that same day and within the estimated time for the water to be turned back on. They did a good cleanup too. Would recommend. Next day the drywall repair man Kenny arrived on time to repair 4 locations where cutouts were required for access. Very impressed, excellent work that included paint match, very little mess and very good cleanup. Would recommend. All of the tradesman were very nice and courteous. 20 year transferable warranty. Very pleased, but I did fell the price was just a little high but not totally out of line. read more
