One fine day, we saw water all over the floor, and knew what was coming .... followed the normal procedure - called restoration guys, as usual they were ready to rip everything off, put the fans, call the insurance and give you a hefty bill but they won't check the leak location. So, I called the leak detection guys - they did a pretty good job in detecting the lead and now I know I have to do a re-pipe. So, I called repipe folks. I had about 7 repipe folks came and give me the quote. Stefan of Repipe Home Hero was the first person to visit and gave a no-nonsense clean quote and it was the lowest of the lot. The best part was he mentioned before hand that his quote will be the lowest. Stefan started the work on the planned day. Done with the repiping in 2 days - on time and very efficient. Started the water on 3rd day to check leaks and requested for inspection. Inspection done on 3rd day 10am (as told) and then started to work on the drywalls. In next 2 days, the whole drywall repairs and painting (matching the texture) were completed with perfect cleaning. The whole work fully completed in 5 days. I am very late to write this review after ~1.5 yrs, but I am still fan of what Stefan and his co-worker did back then. It was pure professionalism, no-nonsense no-haggle no-ripping-off quote, always on-time, respect of the property and privacy, no wastage of time, absolutely clean work, thorough checking after the work done, perfect patching of the dry wall and complete matching of the texture. We had our home repiped in January 2026, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, Simeon and the team were professional, organized, and communicative. We discovered a slab leak at the same time we replaced our heater. First it was the hot water line, then about a week later there was a cold water leak too. We got some estimates for a whole house repipe and out of all of them, Stefan was the most confident about the layout of our home and he even came out on a Saturday to do the estimate and provided it when we met. His estimate was competitive and he had done work at a condo building we knew about recently and we received positive feedback from the owners. We are so thankful we went with his company. They are a family owned business, all very nice, courteous and were conscientious about protecting all the areas they were working on, with floor coverings and plastic to help contain the dust. They came when they said they would and worked very hard late into the night for us. We always had running hot water every night too and they cleaned up before leaving. They treated our home as if it were their own. We have a shower on one side and a bathtub on the other, both plumbing fixtures sharing a wall. We were concerned they might have to go into the tiles, but they were able to repipe keeping all the tile and plumbing fixtures intact. This was an expensive and stressful couple of weeks for us, having both hits, but we were so pleased with their quality of work and careful attention to detail. Prior to reflooring our house and after dealing with a few costly pin hole leaks that caused a mess, we started down the re-pipe path. We were nervous going into this process because it involves a lot of prep work and a lot of holes in places that make your eye twitch, so we took the time interviewing re-piping contractors and researching the process. Simeon came over in the evening, straight from another job that he was working on, and we felt at ease with him/Re-Pipe Home Hero immediately. Simeon is not a salesman but the actual guy who will do the work, they are an experienced family business and crew. Simeon took the time to walk us through the process and the pros/cons of PEX vs copper. The pricing on copper was fair and very competitive. We met with some others but knew our choice was made already. Having a water line leak beneath your home's slab foundation can be a stressful situation. Repipe Home Hero is a company that specializes in re-piping and they are extremely professional in doing exactly that. Stefan's team of four completely re-piped our home in Type L hard copper thru the walls and the attic. They were able to get into very tight spaces in the attic that I would never have attempted. I selected them based upon their excellent ratings on both Yelp and Google, all of which are five star, with nothing less than that. This alone speaks volumes about the quality of their craftsmanship. They cut out many holes in the drywall throughout the house and when they finished the re-pipe job, they skillfully repaired all of the areas. We have three different drywall textures in the various rooms and all were matched perfectly. None of the other bids that I received would cover the drywall repair so, this is a big plus to have an all inclusive repair job. I also opted to have them install a new 50 gallon gas fired water heater at the same time. The old one was not leaking but, it was 11.5 years old. It was my idea to replace it at the same time. I knew Stefan and his two-man crew were a different breed when they showed up to start work on a Sunday morning when there was a major storm warning in effect. Their work ethic is ferocious. They repiped my whole house with PEX in three days, and as other reviews have noted, their finishing of the drywall access holes was so good in some places that I didn't need to paint over them. I went from living in fear of leaks to peace of mind. The price they charged me was reasonable and compared favorably to two other quotes I received, one from a salesman for another repipe specialist, who in hindsight I realize was a bit shady and taking advantage of my ignorance, and another from an old-fashioned plumber who didn't work with PEX and proposed to install new copper. My job took place over six months ago. I was already impressed with Stefan and his crew back then. But recently I called Stefan because I couldn't tell if some water coming through my ceiling was PEX related. One of the best contractors I have ever dealt with! I called for an estimate and he sent his son the next day at the exact time he said he would be here. The son had a great personality and you could tell he knows his business. The father came out to sketch the work to be done and my wife was 100% comfortable with him. I received the quote and it was very fair on the lower end of all the bids I received. It took a while to get scheduled and get the permit from the city but when he had it he was flexible on what week to start. Stephan quoted 1 week to get it done and we would not be without bathrooms or showers at night.
