They only do soak off for gel and it absolutely ruined my nails. They are all bent inward from sitting in the acetone for too long. The gel manicure lasted 5 days and chipped. A week in and my thumb just peeled completely off. While the paint and filing were nice the polish is clearly really cheap and not worth it. read more

Requested a dip manicure, but the manicurest insisted the eco no chip was going to last longer and was the same price. I wanted the dip as it doesn't weaken my nails as much. I also requested chrome rose gold or pink and tried to correct a few times. I picked a color from the color pallet which had 3 rose gold options. The base coat was supposed to change to rose gold with chrome. None of them did. I ended up with a deep purple. A very mediocre pedicure at a higher than typical price. Absolutely nothing special. Woman who checked me in was rude and massage was jokingly fast. The nail tech seems to be in a huge hurry, although there was only one other person in the salon and many of other nail techs sitting around. Certainly not a $65 pedicure experience. I went in for an eyebrow wax. Toward the end of the appointment, the skin beneath my eyebrow began to sting. When I saw myself in the mirror, I noticed the burn area and pointed it out to the staff. Although they ultimately apologized and applied cooling cream, I would not feel comfortable returning for an eyebrow waxing. The photo attached was captured the next day. TLDR; Would not recommend eyebrow waxing here, may end up with burn. read more

I stumbled across this shop one day while driving through the community. Naomi did my no chip mani and pedi this weekend and did a great job. She took her time and cleaned up my nail beds while conversing with me. The shop is very clean and appealing. Be prepared to pay $5 additional to have old no chip polish removed. The good thing about this shop (that I like)!is they don't use a drill to remove the old polish. read more

Updated opinion after my third visit. The first two times were fine, one regular mani and another no chip that lasted a couple weeks, no problems. This time I got a no chip and 5 days later 4 of the nails chipped at the tip and base so I called and asked if they're able to do anything as I have a wedding to go to this weekend. They said they can only fix them before 5 or after 7:30. I work till 5 and then have family I cannot just get away from at 7:30 in the next 2 days. Thought they might make an exception as this is the first time this has ever happened to me but apparently I am eating the cost of a $96 pedi and no chip mani and going back to my usual place to have them fix it who so kindly said they would help me anytime of day. Will not be back and would not recommend for a no chip. read more

I love coming to Plush Nails for my dip powder manicures and regular pedicures! They are always super lovely and greet me warmly when I come in. They offer me a drink and always do a stellar job. Great selection of colors (regular and dip), very clean, new tools used every time, a TV playing Netflix, super comfy massage chairs, etc Some techs are better than others but that's something that is true of every salon. I've been coming here for about 3 months and love the experience. My only wish is that it was *slightly* more affordable. Back in NYC, my local salon did dip manis for $35-$38 and here it's $50. I have been coming to this place for the last few months for a pedicure and typically it is very quick but the paint lasts and my feet look nice. Today... they look awful. She clipped my nails instead of filing at all, the nails are uneven, the paint is really sloppy and I could've done a better job. My feet were in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds before she started cutting my cuticles. She let me sit for 5 minutes for the paint to dry before she ripped off the toe separator and make it clear that she wanted me to pay and leave. I was there for a total of 20 mins. She didn't even put lotion on my feet. All around a poor job and rude. I will not be back. read more

GO HERE! First of all - this is the place to go for a fantastic dip mani in chicago. Moved from the burbs to pilsen and needed a new salon. The LADIES, the decor, the ambiance! The vitamin e oil hand mask followed by a lotiony hand massage = fantastic. My nails look flawless. They're nice and thin and smooth. She put the right amount of coats on and there's no peeling days after of the topcoat like after some other salons I've visited that think you're supposed to use a no-chip topcoat. A very fair price for the service. They use emory boards instead of drills so it's not a dusty place- it's very clean and neat. These ladies are fast and efficient! It's by appointment only but I called to make an appointment and they had availability for that same day (it was a Friday, not sure if I would've gotten that lucky on a weekend day). It was for my friend and I, and we just got regular pedicures priced at $35 each. We were in and out within an hour! They have you sanitize your hands before letting you look through any of their polishes and masks are required for customers and employees. They also offer a variety of complementary beverages which is nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because both my friend and I felt like they rushed through the callous removal and didn't target our problem areas. This was a very mediocre pedicure at best. The polish looks streaky and a gel pedicure with removal of previous gel was $65. That is not the most expensive pedicure I've ever gotten, but I feel like it's on the pricier end. I paid in cash and handed the lady $80 and she did not give me any change whatsoever. Plush looked modern and clean with proper Covid protocols (hand sanitization immediately upon entering, hanging clear dividers). It was very busy in the evening, and my mani pedi started 25 minutes late. I felt that my tech rushed through my appointment to make up time, and I was at the drying station within 40 minutes from start to finish. Overall it was a good paint job, and the regular manicure lasted about 4 days. Besides rushing through, the sign inside the nail salon advertised a special Monday to Wednesday "all day," and the tech said it was only until 3pm and charged full price. I thought maybe I'd misread, but it was clearly it was on there as I walked out. Ultimately the combination of wait time, rushed job and price switching did not leave a good first impression. read more

They just recently opened so i took my wife there on her birthday so she was completely satisfied by their excellent service. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They priced their menu decently for the great quality service!!! They offer gift cards too so i bought few for my Mom and my sisters since they have a quality service. Everything is half-assed here. Came here to do a pedi and I had to remind the woman to file my nails because she missed some toes; failing was not done evenly either. I thought she'd catch those details but she didn't. She also didn't trim my cuticles thoroughly. To top it off, she sped through this entire process (from the beginning - before I pointed out the flaws), besides the fact that there was no attention to detail in her work. If you're black don't go here. They assume you can't pay based on your skin tone. They change there prices once you get inside the shop. If you call ahead of time and ask for pricing they will change their pricing once you get through the door and in the chair. I was quoted $45 less over the phone for a no-chip pedicure and dip powder manicure. Once I was seated the owner came over and said in order to soak off my no-chip pedicure it would be an extra $25 and an extra $20 to soak off my dip power. Racist Mind you I get my nails done every two weeks and had a beautiful set of short and manicured nails so the treatment probably because I'm African American was subpar. I am not sure what was wrong this time,if I was wanted express pedi I would just do it myself.Especially after 2 month of quarantine. Just left Plush and had THE BEST experience. I went went with a friend who got dip and I got the dazzle dry polish. Both of our manicurists were superb, did an amazing job, didn't make us feel rushed through, and the salon was super clean\fume free. My manicurist gave me the perfect shape, the way she polished my nails was perfect, and my cuticles have never looked this good -- cuticles are a total thing for me. I'm so sad that I don't remember her name exactly, I think it was Betsy? My friend got the dip with Bee, and it looks incredible! It's really thin, smooth, and she got it done in only 45 mins without using a drill!! We've both previously gotten dip and it took 2 hours each for dip only. Although, they charged $70 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure that is now chipped (both) a few days later (got my nails done on Sunday it's now only Tuesday).
