I've been taking by 2 dogs here for years and everyone is super friendly and they always leave my dogs looking amazing!!

I take both of my dogs, Mushy and Teenie, to Plush Puppy and I am so grateful we found them. Mushy is an older dog and his legs are getting weak. Grooming can be a lot for him, especially when he has to stand for periods of time. The team is always so gentle with him. They make sure he is supported, comfortable, and never rushed. I can tell they are mindful of his age and his limits, and that means everything to me. Teenie always comes back looking adorable and smelling amazing, but what really stands out is the care. They treat my dogs like they matter, not like they are just another appointment on the schedule. If you have an older pup or a dog that needs a little extra patience, I truly recommend them. I took my Husky in for her groom (this was her third time coming). Her first two grooms went fine and she handled them well. The third groom took longer and when I picked her up, her back legs were shaking and she was not happy. She came home and had problems jumping up on the bed. It was like her back legs weren't working properly. It took us several hours to get her calmed down. When I spoke with the owner, she said the groom took longer because she had to let my dog rest to finish. I had initially thought that maybe my dog had resisted grooming that day, but that was not the case. I have thought and thought about this and just can't take my dog back there. She's my baby and something doesn't sit right about this groom. Also, the owner told me they had another dog there that was carrying on a lot and that they had to put that dog in the back bathroom. I don't know what happened that day, but it wasn't a good day for my sweet girl. read more

I absolutely love Plush Puppy! It is the first place my puppy (Golden Doodle) has freely waled back with the groomer!!! She is completely relaxed and that means the world to me. If I could give a negative 10 I would. My Mom took her puppy in for a haircut and this is what they did. I think you'll need more training to be called a real dog groomer. I will not recommend them to anyone and she'll never be back either. And I can't believe they charged her. She should be refunded. Thank God it's only hair and it will grow back eventually. I didn't want to do it; cutting the quik and making her bleed - ya no! did not want it to be an unpleasant experience for her. We arrived right as they opened and got a warm welcome. I've been bringing my (late) Yorkie and my new Mini Schnauzer here for four years combined. She always made my Yorkie come out looking so cute and much younger. As for my schnauzer, I was referred to her from other schnauzer owners who told me she is the go-to for this breed. She has cut my Lacey very nice each time. She's versed in the traditional show cut me and the more modern round brows both are cute. But this last cut, OMG pure CUTENESS!!!! I had asked for a Japanese style cut and boy did she deliver!!! Never has my little Lacey ever looked SO cute, girly, fresh and up to date with the latest grooming fashions. she takes good notes and I sent her pics of what I was wanting to achieve. She even gave me advise how to grow out my pups ear hair but still maintain a clean look thru the process. I highly recommend this groomer for Schnauzers and Yorkies. And yes she does take credit cards. As for COVID one has to make an appointment (which are fairly ease to get) and upon arrival one waits outside with their dog. However, when we brought our Saintberdoodle puppy home last fall, we quickly realized that his spunky personality and giant size were not going to work well within the small confines of a mobile grooming truck. It took several failed attempts at other groomers before we found Plush Puppy. Due to his size (almost 100lb and still growing at 10 months old), many couldn't manage him - one even sent him home half-done out of frustration! Needless to say, until we went to Plush Puppy he was terrified of getting groomed! But not anymore! The whole staff here greets my big baby with open arms and he just adores them all! I miss Wayne! He was amazing and so gentle with my dogs and never had a problem cutting their nails. However there is a new gal there who didn't know how to handle my husky, and missed some of his nails (which I didn't notice until the next day) and went to charge me for only one of my dogs instead of two. I had to remind her I had two services not one... she also muzzled my husky which I've never seen anyone do, which definitely showed me she was lacking experience. I've brought my shih tzu here for a while now and always loved how she looked after I picked her up so I decided to bring my pitsky (he's pretty big) for his first grooming experience and the service was amazing.
