I haven't been able to try everything Po Sing has to offer but what I have tried, I like. Roast pork by the lb, porkhash, and Icees are normally what my family and I will take to go for a quick snack. From what I can see in their food case, there's the usual Chinese foods for take out. Mabo tofu with eggplant, orange chicken, roast duck and roast pork... things of that sort. The location is quite small, just meant to get in, get what you want and leave. The prices are in line with any other Chinese take out restaurant if not cheaper. The one thing I'm curious about for my next visit will have to be the roast duck with steamed buns. As a heads up, I assume if you don't come early, the pork hash isn't fresh. They're kept out and microwaved upon ordering and they have to be ordered at a minimum of 3. The staff are meh, never happy but never angry either... just so-so. read more

Tiny little family owned shop for takeout only. At first glance, they seem to be your typical glass window "choose your food" slightly better than Panda Express spot, but if you take a minute to see their offerings and order through the menu a little at a time, they are a hidden gem in Mililani Marketplace. Their normal offerings include the usual beef broccoli (which really isn't Chinese), fried rice, chow fun, mabo tofu, etc. They regularly also offer pork bittermelon (pretty good), pork eggplant, and a few other things you'd find at decent Chinese Restaurants. Where they really shine is with their Crispy Roast Pork (belly), the Roast Duck, and Char Siu. (Mom is a picky eater, and she marvels at how well the char siu is made here. Not overly sweet or salty, lean, and great quality meat. I usually fly a pound to her every time I visit because she hasn't had anywhere as good on Maui island.) The other must haves are their won ton (gau chee) and pork hash (dim sum). There's not a lot of variety, but dip it in some spicy mustard and shoyu or ponzu, and you could make a meal out of half a dozen. They make pans for takeout, just need to order a few days ahead (I'd think about 2-3 ahead would help since they're so small and have limited staff). This is our go to place to pork char siu and the roast pork! they do have the best close to home. These are made fresh and if you stop by in the morning, the roast pork is served warm and just melts in your mouth goodness. The char siu has just the right amount of sweetness, and very tasty. I remember my dad coming here for these since I was a little girl, and the recipe is always the same. And I do think they might have changed owners a few times? because from the looks of the foods, it does look different. But the char siu and roast pork remains the same from so many years back. What a horrible experience! I purchased 4 pork hash and a duck egg. After cashing out I asked for hot mustard. The person who helped me told me it was a 1.50. I said I can't have hot mustard with my food?? He said no but if I bought 2 more pork hash my food would come with the hot mustard. Am I the only one who finds this unacceptable and a rip off?? WTH?? It was my first visit and certainly not my last visit to Po Sing. When I approached the restaurant, I noticed the fresh roast pork and char siu hanging up in the window. Wow! Just like...Chinatown. Yummmmmmm. I quickly jumped in line and waited anxiously for my New Years roast pork and char siu! As I waited in line, I noticed a sign that said, " CASH ONLY."Oh, my gosh! I was freaking out because I didn't have enough cash and I was in line already. Luckily, my husband was waiting for me in the parking lot. I called him and then he came to my rescue with CASH. Thank you, honey for the rescue. Finally, it was my turn. I ordered one pound of roast pork and half a pound of char siu. They are sold by the pound. It costs $10.75 a pound for either one. After they weigh the meat, they cut it up into pieces for you. I noticed they weighed the roast pork after the char siu. The char siu sauce got all over the roast pork. Yuck! I didn't like char siu sauce on my roast pork. I asked them for another order and to weigh the roast pork separately. Make sure you ask them to weigh the roast pork separately from the char siu. The time had finally come. New Years dinner...roast pork and char siu from Po Sing along with other New Years delectables from our favorite food joints. Of course, I couldn't wait to "dive right into" both dishes . The roast pork was seasoned just right...the skin was nice and crispy and not too much fat. So, yum! The char siu was a little sweet and scrumptious with no fat. Po Sing, you are my favorite roast pork and char Siu joint! Better than Chinatown. Homemade, tasty and not much fat on the pieces. Food pretty darn good always use to come here for food and they sell cigs lol. Cheaper cigs then safe way don't eat out much anywhere but if I could I would definitely want PO SING ORANGE CHICKEN mmmmmm. We've always enjoyed their duck, char siu and roast pork especially during the holidays. We've noticed the duck just isn't as fresh when we ordered ahead and picked it up. I have a bad feeling that this restaurant may be the next to close soon. For the past two weeks they have no noodles, except for won ton mein (maybe because it's frozen?) and no shrimp dishes. Since it's Lunar New Year time, I tried to order jai but they didn't have it too. Maybe it's a supplier issue, but they don't tell you that. Would have been nice if they apologized for the inconvenience, but it was more of a cold, "no noodles, but you can get it with rice instead." "No shrimp, but have beef or pork." I really liked their food and probably would order from there 2-3 times a month, but maybe it's because of the limited options of Chinese food in the Mililani area. I miss Ginger House at the Town Center and haven't been to Maile's in a long time because they used to use a lot of msg. Do NOT buy their roast duck, it is a total rip off. They charged me $38 for a burnt, dry and partly inedible (meat super hard) duck. The picture of the duck on the left is the one they sold me. It looked like it was reheated and old. The one on the right is from Roast Duck Kitchen in Aiea and cost only $31. I thought I'd give Po Sing a try since it's closer to where I live, one of the worst decisions I've made. I buy duck regularly (every 2-4 weeks) and this is the most disgusting one I've bought (been to several places). For $7 less, I'll stick with the Aiea one (best so far) since it won't cost me $7 in gas to go there and the duck is cooked perfectly and totally edible. read more

I grew up in Mililani so this was a place we frequented either to get last-minute Chinese takeout dinner or for a quick snack such as pork hash or rice cake. I'm glad it's still there after all these years. Every now and then when I find myself in Mililani or going to the Safeway next door, I will stop here to get my boyfriend pork hash. I used to love their pork hash, but I don't eat pork or beef anymore so I don't get this for me, just him. I remember when I first bought some for him to try, he really liked it and said that there was only one other pork hash that was that good which was from a manapua truck. Funny he would say that because I always thought Po Sing was like a stationary manapua truck since they sell similar items - including rice cake, chinese cookie, pork hash, half moon, candies, cigarettes, noodles - but much more food entree items that manapua trucks don't offer. One thing I notice often when I come here is there is usually a fly or two buzzing around. I don't like that part, but I guess that's hard to avoid since the door is open and the food is really close to the entrance plus they have the pork hanging up in the window. Po Sing Kitchen is my go to spot in Mililani if I have a craving for roast pork and/or char siu. I happen to think that their roast pot and char siu is on par with some of the more popular spots (like R.D.K.) in the area of Aiea Bowl (those of you who love your roast pork/char siu know where I'm talking about). Aside from that, everything else is pretty much what you'd expect from your typical Chinese takeout restaurant. Oily looking Chinese dishes that look like they've been sitting there all day swimming in some unknown sauce/oil. The staff is not very friendly (I've never really heard them say anything other than how much your bill is) which is not surprising and they only take cash (which can be a pain at times). I would think that in this day and age, everyone would accept credit cards because you know I need to get me my Hawaiian Miles! But ... they do have excellent roast pork and char siu which is the only reason I go there. The roast pork skin is just right with the right amount of saltiness and the pork itself has the right meat/fat ratio. So good! Their char siu is right up there as well. Tender, just enough of that sweet char siu flavor that you expect, and the end pieces sometimes have a little burnt/charred pieces that I personally really like. Just don't expect a friendly greeting when you walk in there and accept the fact that you will not accrue any Hawaiian Miles. Final Rating: I will go with 3 stars. read more

Saw this place on my way to freestyle cafe and thought I'd check it out since I've been craving Chinese food. Little hole in the wall family run shop. The guy was super friendly and since it was so late they we're almost out of all their food so he gave me a little extra of other things to make up for it. Price is affordable at $7.95 for a two choice plate. I got rice, noodles, orange chicken, beef broccoli and he gave some bitter melon as well. I thought the food was pretty tasty and definitely good portions. The only thing I question is the cleanliness of this place since I did see a lady sitting in front of the counter stuffing dim sum with raw meat but they do have a green pass on their window (I checked). When we golf at Mililani Golf Club we sometimes send someone to pick up char siu and roast pork from Po Sing for pupus, it is our go to spot because the char siu and roast pork is very consistently delicious. This time I wanted to pick up some roast pork to take home and I was hoping there would be some left since it was 3:30 PM. Luckily there was 1 slab left when I got there so I purchased about 1 1/2 pounds to take home and share with my wife and son. The roast pork has a beautiful crispy skin that is light and airy throughout the entire slab and the meat is moist and juicy. Some restaurants the meat would be dry or overcooked where the pieces just fall apart. At Po Sing's they get it right everytime. Much better than Roast Duck Kitchen in Aiea and the service is much friendlier. Check it out but don't spread the word too much because it is a small hole in the wall so I don't want too much competition for my roast pork. read more

OKAY I honestly don't even want to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret all to myself!!! But i can't not tell people about how DELICIOUS this char siu is! Tucked away in Mililani, Po Sing is a tiny hole in the wall spot to get great Chinese pupus/good. I come here for three things 1) char siu 2) roasts pork 3) pork hash. The char siu is incredibly fresh. Sweetly marinated with that classic bright pink color. The meat is soft and moist, and my favorite bits are the slightly charred pieces which are so crispy! Dipped in. Their hot mustard sauce it's literally to die for. Roast pork here is classic, a nice meat to fat ratio with ALWAYS crispy skin. Savory salty delight. Their pork hash are large and wrapped differently than your typical pork hash, but the filling is delicious and not overly oily like you find at some places. If you make a large order they give you a literal Bowl of hot mustard which I like because most Chinese restaurants only give you teeny tiny containers of the stuff. Meat is priced by the pound at around $12 a pound. Pork hash is per piece I believe, minimum three pieces per order. Definitely a must try! read more
