One of the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted! Threw most of the dishes out! The egg foo young was just fried egg sitting under a glob of what should have been brown gravy but was the color of yellow mustard...and no flavor and sort of sour tasting... Disappointing. First, the people are very nice and they "try" to do the right thing. But this a bit of a fail. We ordered broccoli and fried tofu in garlic sauce. Upon opening the dish, the "sauce" was coagulated in clumps which usually means the ingredients weren't mixed properly. That leaves it unappetizing. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, I put it in a frying pan to heat it, hoping that would help the clumps. It did. Now for the taste: NO SEASONING OR FLAVOR!!! Food was terrible. I literally threw most of it out. First of all I know there are lots of fees now but they charged a service fee and delivery fee and I paid it online and when they delivered the food there was an additional service fee and the delivery guy didn't know what it was or couldn't explain rather bc of language barrier. Onto the food. We have had a struggle finding a good Chinese take out. We had one but they changed so we needed a new place. Tried po-sing. Honestly I'm praying I don't get sick. The wonton soup was off. Like a gamey smell taste and hard dough for wontons. I threw it out. The Szechuan beef tasted like it came out of the ocean and went bad. Couldn't eat it at all. Not even worth calling bc I wouldn't trust them making something else. The sesame chicken sauce was decent but the chicken was hard. The crab rangoons flavorless and hard old dough. I'm just taking the loss at this point. I don't recommend at all. The rice is delicious, the lo mein not such a favorite. Chicken portions could be better. It depends on the day, sometimes it's cooked without the need of being burnt and saturated with oil, and sometimes it's great and has good taste. read more

I've gone to Po Sing for most of my life. I ordered take out and I can't believe it was from the same restaurant I always went to. I actually looked up online to see if they changed owners. Lo Mein was extremely greasy. I ordered General Tso's chicken. It was nothing like it was. Breaded chicken pieces, peppers, corn. I wondered if they gave me the wrong order. Through covid they were always open for take out. Must say they did get a little crazy with plexi-glass gloves,mask, sanitizer, Lysol. They were worst than CDC. My parents ordered Chicken Chow Mein tonight from Po Sing's in North Bellmore. It was basically 2 bowls of water with undone rice & crappy looking vegetables & chicken! Looks at the pics. My search for the perfect roast pork egg fu yong on Long Island continues. Thought Po Sing had potential, however there's is decent but bland. Sauce not the worst but just not thick or yummy. However, I also ordered the vegetable fried rice, not wanting to have 2 roast pork dishes. Vegetable fried rice, which often times equates to fried rice with nothing else in it because most restaurants just assume if you don't want chicken pork beef or shrimp in the fried rice that you just get the fried rice with the few scallions and peas and carrot cubes as they usually make it. Po Sing's contrarily is filled with mushrooms large carrot slices and baby corns among other veggies. Excellent dish. read more

We've been ordering from here to our home and two offices (Bellmore, and merrick). All in all we spend collectively close to $4,000 this year alone January thru September. Today they made an error when we ordered and sent double the food, charging us double (over $30 more). The order was also not correct as we ordered with jalapeños and they didn't put any. I called in and they said they wouldn't pick up food which was fine, but when I asked for a credit on the food we did not order they cheaply offered $5, then offered $10 when I complained. The order was for two people and if we wanted to spend over $60 we would have went out for sushi after work. I believe I was speaking with the owner, who by the way was laughing slightly as I explained he'd be losing a good customer. Not sure if the laugh was a nervous laugh or he was laughing at me. Summary: DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered two dishes from the lunch special after seeing all the good reviews, and I totally regret it. Not only was the general tso's really dry, the chicken quality was so hard to chew it tasted fake. I've had General tso's before and it's not supposed to have that consistency nor have such an off taste. So I called the business and explained the situation. First a man picked up the phone and said no problem bring it back, then a woman took the phone from him and asked me what was wrong with the dish? I said I didn't like the taste and something was off about it and that I was unhappy with the order, I asked if I could bring it back so they could even take a look at for themselves. The lady then rudely told me: "do you not like it or is there somethings wrong with it?" UHM I just said both? Like can I bring it back or not? And then she kind of gave me the feeling like if I did come back she'd skirt around the issue and not give me a refund. Haha, wow... I don't know how Po-Sing ended up on Yelp, but I'm not complaining. Basically, it's like this: I've been going to Po-Sing for over ten years. Even though I don't live in the area, I still pick up food there when I can. Their food is, for lack of a better term, consistent. And by that, I mean delicious. When I was in school, we'd call in orders for chicken and broccoli for lunch. Their General Tso's, which I use as sort of a benchmark for Chinese places, is among the best I've ever had. And the thing is, their food has always been this good. In ten years, it's never changed. If you do something right, then hey, keep going. But seriously, best Chinese place in the area. Chinese food take out/delivery has always had this reputation of just being "ok", or being a substitute for pizza on a late date night with your partner. But this Chinese joint doesn't seem to have that problem. I'm very picky about my Americanized Chinese food, and quite honestly I've never really found the right one until now. There are not many Chinese places open during the pandemic. My husband was searching for a place because I was in the mood for Chinese food. This place had a very good system for pickup. Moved to East Meadow from Queens 3 years ago and have been looking for decent Chinese take-out since. It's all subjective. Some people like their dishes more oily, some less so. One place has good ribs, another place makes good pork buns. Po-Sing is the most consistent across their menu that I've found. Best Chinese take-out I've had since moving to East Meadow. Best Chinese food take out in the East Meadow/North Bellmore area. Tried a few others when we moved here and must of them were plain and nothing exciting. I always get the Kung Pao which is made exactly the way It should be. My wife always gets the chicken and brocc. They make some of the best fried rice that I've ever had.
