It was so tempting to run back here the next morning! This is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. I'm always impressed when heavy meals don't weigh you down. The fresh ingredients really help. The sandwiches had big flavor and the proportions are great. (I was full enough to skip lunch.) We ordered the OG breakfast sandwiches --one with bacon and the other with chorizo. I'd recommend the bacon one. We also got the hash browns. It was over too quickly with 2 pieces in an order. As others mentioned, the strawberry jam was a nice touch. The location is only an order window so we took our sandwiches home. The owner is very polite and you can tell he puts care into the service. Came to Poblano South on a Friday around 11:30am. Its in an unassuming little plaza in a food hall. Would never know that it was there if you were just driving by. They have a limited menu, which is great for people like me who can never decide what they want to eat. We ordered an OG, Poblano avo and some hash cakes. The man who rung us up was super nice and appreciative. The order comes out insanely hot and insanely fresh. My mouth was watering so badly I couldn't get the sandwich unwrapped fast enough. I got the OG with sausage and it was smashed and crispy, the egg was nice and fluffy and the salsa and cream cheese added a little spice and creaminess which was a phenomenal balance with the crispness of the smashed sausage. The bread was also delicious and super soft. The avocado on the other sandwich made it more hearty which I appreciate. The chewiness of the bread works really well with all the soft elements in this sandwich. The hash cakes were divine. Perfectly crisp and served with a raspberry sauce. I do think, however, they could be made without the beef tallow and be equally as delicious and that way non-meat eaters could enjoy them, too. I live 30 minutes away from Poblano South but would not at all mind making the drive to keep having these divine menu items. 10/10 totally worth it. Keep in mind, while they do have a card reader, they prefer cash! The total came to $37 and it was worth every single penny. read more

I went for breakfast, the food was fresh and delicious. it was homemade and cooked well. the service was quick after ordered. the ambiance is good for what it is, seems like a pop-up type it is in a food court type in the back of a strip mall. well worth the find. The food deserves 5 stars. Absolutely delicious. My only negative is the location is in a shared kitchen space (Lake Ida food hall) with 2 other kitchens and VERY minimal seating. It's basically a take out spot. The fries got a bit cold and lost their crispness on the drive home which is a shame because the aroma of those fries were intoxicating the whole way. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Burger was juicy with TONS of flavor. Service was very friendly and took about 12 minutes to get my order with 2 other people there. I'm already craving another burger. Definitely try the hash cakes if you're a fan of McDonald hash browns. read more

A great little collection of food stalls opened on the corner of Congress & Lake Ida. Poblano South Smashburger has recently begun serving breakfast sandwiches & they're AMAZING. Currently going viral on TikTok, the owner Marty & his wife are pushing to reach 100 breakfast sandwich sandwiches daily and they should be selling 1,000! Served on toasted ciabatta bread, the fluffy eggs, sausage & cheese pop with a roasted salsa that's full of flavor. Definitely need two hands for this. Also the hashbrowns come with a side of jam, and this unlikely pairing will make any day better! Fingers are crossed this is successful! 10/10 read more

The breakfast food here is straight up delicious. Soo many flavors hit you at once it reminds me of Guy Fieri. I wish this places was around when I was in college. Found them at the WPB Market and was so excited that they were opening a spot in Delray! My only complaint is it's too close to my house so I want to go every day. Originally tried their chorizo burger in WPB at the Green market and was floored with how fresh and TASTY everything was! Followed them to the Delray Market on another Saturday and they continued to deliver consistent, great burgers with a smile. Genuinely everything was seasoned well, cooked to perfection, and you can tell they pay attention to the details. Hopped over to their brick n mortar location a few weeks ago for their breakfast sandwich/hash browns - another on point meal, even if I did eat it in my car on my way to yoga and dang if I'm not craving another one while writing this review. Some of the best smash burgers I've had in SFL and probably will ever have locally. Every element came together into such a satisfying, flavorful bite. The grande fry was HUGE for the $7 price tag! Marty was super chill, inviting and had great music playing the whole time. I've been wanting to try Poblano for a while since they are in different places depending on the day of the week, I will start by saying it was worth it and you should definitely give them a shot. I caught them at the west palm beach green market on Saturday. I noticed right away that the staff of 3 was working hard, engaging with clients, as well as handing out samples of their burgers. You could tell they take pride in what they do. The staff is also very friendly. We ordered two of the Rizo burgers (they serve single, double, and triples, as well as breakfast sandwiches). The staff member advised me that the order would take a few minutes to prepare. They were made fresh and came out in less than 5 minutes. I would say to get it as is. It's very flavorful. The sauce, cheese, and additional toppings are perfect. I would say get at least a double to capture all of the flavor. I will definitely be going to see them soon, you should too. read more

Best burger I've ever had. Period. I stumbled upon Poblano South while driving around Pompano. I was hungry and needed a quick bite, so I stopped by in hopes of getting something fast and affordable. I wasn't expecting much from this spot, but it completely blew me away. I ordered the Rizo burger which consisted of a brisket, chuck and pork chorizo patty. It was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. The caramelized onions on top were such a sweet addition. The burger was cooked to perfection, too -- whenever I ask for a medium rare I usually get something overcooked, but it was completely perfect here. I chatted for a bit with the chef as he made the burger and you could tell he was super passionate (and knowledgeable) about the food. We need more local spots like this! I can't wait to keep coming back and try more of their menu. read more
