The food: my wife ordered the low country shrimp Benedict and the City grits paired with a Tito's bloody. She's, picky. VERY picky, but these dishes hit perfectly. If you don't think you care for grits, GET THESE. If you don't care for grits afterwards, then grits just aren't for you. I had the cinnamon French toast. If you're diabetic, these may be problematic, but they were phenomenal! Even the cold brew coffee was exceptional. If you're in the area, just shut up and give them your money and thank us later. We also ordered a half order of b&g. Everything was so tasty. The service was good. He was there when we needed him. All of the patio is nicely shaded and pet friendly. Delicious The wait wasn't too long, and the staff was very friendly during the short wait we were there for. The menu had so many delicious options so it was extremely hard to pick. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered advice on his favorites. Stopped here for a quick breakfast. The staff was immediately super friendly. Held the door, welcomed us, and for us seated right away. Every staff member I encountered was very pleasant. I love the variety of options on the menu as well. You can get something salty, savory, light, or sweet. My fiancé opted for a classic breakfast made up of eggs, hash browns and sausage. He loved them! I went for the biscuits and gravy and potatoes , which was crafted with a unique kick! I've had this dish many places, but I really enjoyed the southern twist. Parking was very difficult. There are not a lot of available spaces around 10am during the week. Prices are high, especially for a franchise/chain restaurant. Judging by what we were both served, it appears that they aren't using the freshest ingredients. We waited a long time for our food to arrive. Our omelets weren't cooked all the way through, and our potatoes were cold. We both sent back our dishes as they were completely inedible. Our waitress was not the nicest person, nor was she efficient. We were sitting in a booth across from the bar. She felt it was appropriate for the two of us to explain to her what was wrong by speaking loud enough for her to hear us from across the bar. Again, we were not sitting at the bar, so this was totally inappropriate behavior. We had so many issues with our meal, so we didn't have time to discuss an upcoming work project, which was the goal of us meeting up for breakfast. There are too many restaurants in this area to even consider returning. No pictures, as I was with a potential new client who isn't yet aware of my Yelp addiction. Funny thing, when we left, he mentioned that his wife would have definitely taken pictures. Maybe she is also a Yelper, but I will save that question for our next meeting. My boyfriend ordered the traditional breakfast with Scrambled Eggs,Home Fries, sausage patties, and English muffin. The home fries were super dry and overcooked. If not for the sausage gravy to drown them out I don't think he would have eaten them. I ordered the hash brown Benedict because it sounded interesting and our server said it was good. This visit didn't even get far enough to have coffee, let alone food. When I arrived a woman was standing in front of me to be seated. The host was speaking with her about the party she was meeting apparently, then she was taken in. During that moment I was not addressed, then she came back and I said there was just myself, she went to a booth and got a towel, then wiped it off. She then came back again and seated me. The table was wet and when I looked up I noticed that the booth in front of me was seated and as I started looking at the menu, the booth behind was seated, all in a row, with a mostly empty restaurant mind you. Then after a minute or so, a waiter came out and then walked back to the hostess and asked something then came back to the table seated after me to get them coffee. I didn't say anything but I know this wasn't right and I got up and walked out. So many things wrong here. Why do they need to jam everyone together when at that time they had plenty of open tables. And to ignore a single customer, to me is a no-no. I worked in the restaurant business and it is a sign of disrespect and shows that the idea that the tip will be smaller seems to guide the server's decision making. Overall, a good experience. I had a basic two egg breakfast. The eggs were fixed just right. I had grits, which I thought were a bit runny and not quite hot enough. My biscuit was more bready than I like, not like a true southern biscuit. After my first cup of coffee I had to eventually flag down a server to get another pour. I have heard about this place and use to live close to the one that is by the Pembroke Lakes Mall, but never tried it out. My best friend and I were looking for a place to have a quick bite prior to our drive back to Broward County. I took a look at the menu and was sold right away. I love the fact that they have so many different options especially for me since I'm a pescatarian. We decided to place an order online and pick it up rather than dining in. I ordered the Lobster Benedict which is a special/seasonal item from what I saw as well as the Shrimp and Grits (upgraded to City Grits) for my boyfriend. My best friend also ordered the shrimp and grits with a biscuit as well. The staff was very friendly. Our food was not ready as of yet when we got there, but it was a short wait. My Lobster Benedict was on a toasted everything bagel with 5 strips of asparagus. I was very surprised with that amount of lobster that was given. Some places mention lobster and you get just a few clumps. Here it was lobster galore, lol! I chose grits and added Jack cheese to it for my side item. Listen! I have to say that it was the best grits I have ever had aside from mine of course. It was creamy and hot which is best when eating. My entire meal was delicious delicious delicious. I honestly wished I had ordered more grits! When I got home I was searching for another location that was closer to me to see if can get more LOL. I had no luck though, but I plan on visiting the one in Pembroke Pines very soon. My best friend and boyfriend loved their Shrimp and Grits. This is really about the catering. We ordered pancakes and french toast for a brunch for my daughter's sweet 16. I had an 11:00 am pick up- everything was almost ready on time. It was fine because by the time I walked to my car and back the rest of the roses was ready. Lenka, the kitchen manager was friendly and had told me she gave us syrup and powdered sugar as well The only reason I gave it a 4 star because I got an email from Broken Egg that I could order beignets and get them gratis. The manager told me that the catering is separate and that I would need to do this with an order in the restaurant or a regular take out. That was a bummer after spending a nice chunk of change with catering. He did say that he would accept it even past the deadline date. The pancakes and the french toast were both very good!!
