The food, restaurant and service are top notch here!! We came in on a Sunday afternoon and our server recommended one bento box and a soup to share but my hubby and I came in HUNGRY! We ordered two bento boxes (the chicken teriyaki and beef bulgogi) and the yukgaejang! WOW! Everything came out quick and was delicious! We loved all the extra sides and were very pleased with the portions. Maybe we should have gone with the servers recommendation of sharing because we ended up having to box some to take with us.. but I'm already looking forward to my leftovers for later! I got a couple cocktails too and they were balanced and tasty! They have a bunch of cool decor on the walls and around the restaurant. They also had a bunch of TVs showing different K-pop stuff. Stopped by on the way to HMart. Nice interior and the grills had good ventilation so you didn't come out smelling like barbecue. Had the premium beef set meal for 2 that came with LA Galbi and Jumuluk (if I remember correctly). It came with spicy rice cakes, fried dumplings, steamed eggs, Soon Dubu Jigae. It was very good. WOW, first and foremost I want to mention the service because it was out of this world. The waitress was so sweet and gave personal recommendations. The atmosphere was great during the lunch. I ordered a beer and a pork belly lunch box which was the perfect portion size plus some. It was great because it felt like I got to try a little of two things I wanted. This was my first time Visiting Pocha 93. I liked the vibe on the inside. As a kpop fan I wish they wouldn't have just showed TWS on a loop! The food was pretty good. I had the beef bulgogi box. I didn't think it would be enough but I was wrong. I was really full after! I also had the steamed egg which was just ok. It lacked something and it seemed to be really watery. We also ordered the cheese corn and it really didn't do much for me. My only complaint was the menus. They were sticky and that is not the best way to start a meal. All I have to say is Y U M!! The scallion pancakes are crispy and melt in your mouth. Spam kimbap is incredible. I've been wanting to try gomtang for a while and theirs did NOT disappoint. My husband was hell bent on eating their blood sausage, which was surprisingly amazing. They have great portions, the staff is so sweet and willing to explain anything on the menu. Our food came out fairly quickly as well. It definitely gave pub vibes with K Pop on the screens around us and tons of space. This place has a great vibe. They have karaoke night starting at like 9pm in the front of the restaurant so we may have to come back for that. All the servers were lovely and so friendly. The spam kimbap was good, love the saltyness of gives but everyone I picked up sort of fell apart so it was a little hard to dip in the sauce and eat. The japchae tasted fresh and I love that they used non standard veggies like the wood ear mushrooms. We also got the steamed egg and not exactly like my mom's but still very good and comes up piping hot. Now the star of the show is the grilled pork that was very flavorful and would order again for sure. Vibe! So glad to have visited Pocha. Saturday night, it was not that crowded, rainy colder day in Orlando. The wife ordered the Pork Belly Ramen and I had the beef bulgogi jap chae. We also ordered Yuzu and Lemon High ball. The ramen was good. Not Asian spicy but with a kick. K-ramen uses the packaged noodles which is ok. The broth was flavorful. Pork belly wasn't the best. Celebrated my daughter's milestone birthday here. On a Tuesday night, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our server Brooke was very knowledgeable as she answered our questions and guided us through the menu, which was a bit tricky to obtain via the QR code but we got there. I preferred my traditional highball cocktail ($12) over the shareable watermelon soju punch bowl style drink ($40). I know some effort goes into making it, though. Just lacking in alcohol for me. My favorite food items were the kimchi & squid pancake and the bulgogi beef (great flavor). The dumplings weren't great. Wouldn't order those again. The Shindangdong Tteokbokki stew ($30) was worth it due to its brimming tasty contents, which were enjoyed by most of our party. As others have expressed, some of the individual/smaller plates aren't really worth the price. K-pop music videos were running on nearby screens, but the audible music playing was alternative/indie, which is my preferred genre so all good with me. Cool vibes throughout the place. We loved it so much we came back the next week! It's been on our list of places to try since they've opened and I wish we went sooner. We wanted somewhere with good food and where we would be able to watch the World Cup. We happened to go on karaoke night which was fun. The servers were very kind and attentive. It was surprising that the restaurant wasn't busier. The portion sizes are amazing and great for eating family-style. Everything was amazing. The spicy pork intestine was okay, I think it needs to get cut in smaller pieces or maybe I just prefer mine fried until crispy. Either way this will now be one of our go-to places. read more

Very cool vibes. The menu is very confusing, it's a QR code scan but it appears to have the old menu and the new menu on there. The server clarified all of our questions. Food was very tasty. I really enjoyed the Marinated pork shoulder. It was quite expensive for what it is. Also, we didn't fat any sides like we usually see at a Korean restaurant. Daebak!!!! This place is so much fun. I enjoyed every moment here. I got the chance to finally go to this location mid January and it was a blast with a birthday celebration for one of my friends. I couldn't eat the first time because I was not well. Second time was right after work and I got to try the chicken bento box that came with kimchi, japcha, fresh rice, and chicken. The sauce that comes on the side was delicious!! Made me think I was in a kdrama because of the amazing energy from the staff. I felt at home and 잘 먹었습니다! Thank you for such an great time. I went to H Mart often but always troubled with the amount of crowds. Today I found out that only few blocks away, the Korean pub Pocha 93 actually offers pretty good lunch menu with reasonable prices, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The pub was converted from an old Miller's Ale House but very well decorated. Although it was Sunday lunch time, they didn't have many customers. But the waitress still did a good job. She was very knowledgeable about their food and also very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Burger and Braised Pork Belly Doshirak Box. Both were delicious. The burger had an house made patty marinated with Korean BBQ and Ssamjang aioli and the pork belly was well seasoned. $20 lunch per person was a really good deal. I will be there often whenever I grocery shop at the nearby H Mart. read more

I think since it was a soft opening for their lunch hours we got free boba with lunch entrees. Our server recommended the citrus boba tea which was actually really delicious (it actually had citrus rind in it). I've been meaning to try this place and I'm so glad it was in Bite 30! Had a friend visiting so we went to go try it out and it was so fun and delicious. We went on Wednesday night, and they have open karaoke. It was really fun listening to other people sing while we ate. Our server was really nice and I really enjoyed dinner overall. Bite 30 was really worth it in my opinion. There was so much food and we were really full by the end of it. I really liked the so-tteok so-tteok (rice cakes + sausage)! It was really good and a nice starter to the meal. I really liked the Gam Ja Tang. The pork was so nice and soft and the soup was so flavorful. I usually like intestines, and it was good, but Gobchang bokkeum wasn't my favorite. For dessert; I really liked the strawberry bingsu! It was nice and refreshing as a dessert. For the drinks I got, they were both good, but I liked the LL-fizz more. The lavender and lychee flavors meshed really well together and was nice and sweet. Pocha 93 is my go to spot for a late night Korean bite. Their servers are very attentive and they have plenty of space and parking for everyone! Their menu is expansive so I haven't tried most of the items. My go to is the army stew as it has everything you could want for pre or post gaming drinks (ramen, fish cake, sausage, spam, etc.). They bring a stove over to keep your stew warm. The serving is massive and definitely can feed 4 people. Pricing is pretty decent as well. I went during karaoke night (unknowingly) and there was great turnout and everyone seems to be having fun and dancing and singing the night away. read more

Jumuluk (off the BBQ menu): This was unfortunately the weakest dish of the night. We were asked whether we wanted it cooked tableside or in the back; we chose the back, but were then told it was sliced too thin and would burn. The result was bland and chewy. That said--major turnaround once our server brought out marinated onions. Combined with the meat, it became heavenly. Still chewy, but the onions absolutely saved the experience. Fish Katsu: Hands down the best fish katsu I've ever had (also my first, so the bar was wide open ). The fish was warm, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The breading was thin, crisp, and beautifully seasoned--nothing heavy or greasy. Honestly impressive. Side Dishes (Banchan): The kimchi deserves special mention. Kimchi is usually hit-or-miss at Korean spots, but this one was spot on. More fermented, deeper flavor--exactly how I like it. Dumpling Soup: I asked for kimchi dumplings and I'm pretty sure I received the regular ones. Im sure they would have swapped it out had i said something. The soup was warm, savory, and comforting. Full of scallions with every bite so mention excluding those if u arent a fan. The rice cakes tasted like they come from a smaller producer, not mass-made--chewier and more satisfying. Budae Jjigae: A generous portion that could easily feed 2-3 people. Served hot, spicy, and loaded with ramen. Classic comfort stew done right. Overall: A few hiccups, but several standout dishes. When Kpocha 93 hits, it really hits--especially the fish katsu, kimchi, and budae jjigae. Would absolutely return. read more

The service was great. Our waiter was patient and explained how ordering works. The ambiance was cool, felt like a sports bar or pub, which is why they were going for. Food was okay. I don't think the price was worth what we ordered. The combo for 2 came with two types of meat, so we chose the LA galbi & bulgogi. The LA galbi came with two pieces & the bulgogi was a small plate. Overall, I like this place. It's been on my to go to list for a while, but I happened to go twice in a span of two weeks. Both experiences were very different, but I think it comes to how busy they were. It's a Korean pub style restaurant. If you order grill items, you can have it cooked on the grill in front of you or in the kitchen (recommended). Price point is okay. A little expensive for what you get but not absurd. Some items are more worth it. For example, the stews are shareable so paying $30 for a large portion is a good deal, but paying $20+ for a small plate of meat is not as good of a deal. Also, from a Korean restaurant perspective, it's odd to me to have to pay for banchan, even if it's affordable. The drinks are delicious and varied enough to have something for everyone. They frequently have events too so there might be something fun going on while you dine. In terms of service, the first time we went, it was a Friday night and it was slow. The server was training someone and was very attentive and conversational. He answered all my friend's questions about the menu and had a great attitude when consistently checking on us. The second time we went, it was a Saturday night and it was very busy. However, we got the impression that they were not prepared to be busy. There was a combination of trivia night and a large birthday party. Even though, we made a reservation, they tried to turn us away because the kitchen was backed up. Then what's the point of having a reservation?? My friend convinced the host to let us get a table and just order drinks. When we were at the table, the server again reminded us that we could not order food but could order drinks. However, he did come back about 30 minutes later saying the kitchen was now accepting food orders. So that was a fun surprise. The negative was that because they were so busy, we never got our drink orders and we also didn't get our side items we ordered. We also sat with empty waters for quite some time before we had to ask for more. Because the staff seemed so overwhelmed, I didn't mention the lack of items as I was okay with the entree I ordered. I did have to mention it at the checkout when the missing items appeared on my bill. We were told that because he didn't see it in the kitchen, he assumed we got them? Idk, clearly the restaurant is short staffed so I didn't make a big deal about it. I only mention it here so that visitors are prepared to manage expectations. All that said, I do plan on going back as I did enjoy the food and atmosphere. I'll probably just stick to going on the weekdays instead of weekends. read more

In the west side of Orlando you have a Korean pub. Interesting location outside of the city. Coming in you are welcomed by two jinro toads a great detail. Overall the food is mediocre at best. I remember going on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't too packed but the service was a little slow considering the amount of people there. Compared to my experience of Korean food in other places the food was a little lacking. Also when we ordered the drink some of the ingredients were missing which was a shame. I genuinely cannot believe it took me this long to try this place. First of all, it's so fun I'm there. The decor is super cool and there's lots of spacious and comfortable seating! My friend and I shared one of the lychee soju pitchers and it was delicious. She had the bulgogi bento box which I took a bite of and it was so good. And the portions were incredible, she even got to take some for left over. I had the seafood ramen and it was 10/10. Finally got to try Pocha 93! I went on a Friday and they had karaoke. I had no clue this was going to happen so the restaurant was extremely loud. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered some great suggestions. The food and drinks were really good. The corn cheese, wings and LA Kalbi were my favorites! I came here twice in a week with my friends visiting from out of town. We came for some K-pop events that were happening around the Ateez concert time. They had vendors outside selling cute little trinkets, and photo cards etc. They are somewhat short staffed, but everyone that was working here was super sweet and nice and attentive. The vibes are great for hanging out and enjoying a dinner with friends and drinking. Also the music playing was great too. Who doesn't love kpop?! The people behind the popular Shin Jung, one of my favorite spots, invoke the essence of Korean night street markets "pojangmacha" or "pocha" with their latest concept, Pocha 93. They capture a unique vibe with plentiful retro signs and Kpop playing on the speakers. Advertising itself as a hangout bar spot, they offer a variety of cocktails, beer, soju, and sake. They also have a watermelon soju mix that's served in a carved out watermelon. They serve a wide variety of food, from staple items like tteokbokki and fried chicken to the less common tangsuyuk and jokbal. Their main items are the iconic budaejjigae (army base stew) and odentang (fish cake soup) which can be ordered by itself or in a combo set that includes other dishes. The service here was definitely spectacular. Our waitress Kayla, explained the menu in incredible detail and answered all the questions our group had. She checked on us throughout the meal and made sure everything was going well. The food lived up to expectations. I liked the tangsuyuk and jokbal, although the budaejjigae was only okay for me. We ordered the Perfect Pear and Queen of Tears cocktails, both of which were delicious. I would say that this place is definitely on the pricer side, especially for the amount that you actually receive. And interestingly, banchan is ordered separately at an additional cost. I think if I really wanted a fun night out with some friends and lots of drinks I would make a point to come here. But if you just wanted a good meal you might find better value elsewhere. read more

There was a huge bar in the center and lots of table/booth seating. We started off with cocktails (Arise and Seoul-d Fashioned) which were both good but the Seoul-d Fashioned could have gone a little heavier with the gochujang (definitely just depends on your preferences though).
