About a half hour after the delivery time I thought they were kind of late so I called GrubHub support and they had my address wrong for some reason even though it's correct on Yelp. And so the driver just didn't deliver it or try to figure something else out. So we just didn't get any food even though we ordered - I could've picked it up. It's just so stupid. I'm so mad. I don't understand how the address got messed up because my address is correct on the app and when I ordered - my confirmation had the right address. It's the same address on my credit card. They just got it wrong? Nobody seems to know how to avoid this from happening again so I wish I could give zero stars. I don't understand how it got wrong. System error? The computer just gets it wrong sometimes I guess? I wish I could give a better review. Stumbled upon this place while working on a nearby location. This little hole the wall Filipino spot has great food with a decent selection. They do offer party orders as well. The workers were friendly and all the food looked delicious. The prices were very fair and they can get busy during peak hours. 2025.10-07/TUE_0830: My husband accidentally discovered the Point-Point Joint when he visited the bakery next door in search for coffee and some pan (bread). At the bakery, he found Pan de Sal (Filipino buns) and the person was assisting someone else so he decided to check next door was open. Point-Point Joint was open and he went here today for lunch. He was so happy that he found a great Filipino restaurant. The staff was super nice to him. He told them that he married a Filipina. It was early morning and my husband was greeted with a huge smile. Everyone was really laid back and such a good atmosphere to be in so early in the morning. There's nothing better than running into happy people to start your day! He loved the aunties that he spoke to! He had the BBQ and Lechon Kawali combo with Pancit and Garlic Fried Rice. He was so nice to try and save me some so I can have a little taste when I got home! He loved their food compared to our usual spot. I was shocked when I warned up the leftovers and it was SO good. It reminded me of home. The Lechon sauce was homemade and not from the bottle. Old school turo turo place that is very authentic, complete with Filipino variety shows on tv. I was near kuya lord but saw this in Yelp and thought I should try something different. Pork calderata was pretty tender and the stew was flavorful but they don't strain the fat so it was swimming in a thick layer of oil. I got charged $1.50 extra for lechon but they didn't make clear upfront which items cost extra. While a decent portion, the lechon was over fried and hard so some pieces were good and some were too dry and hard to eat. Definitely wouldn't get that again. We ordered sisig, lechon kawali & halo-halo online for a late lunch. My wife and I were so lazy to cook and randomly looked for a filipino food. And after the food was delivered, we were so impressed how it was packed neatly. I chose ice cream to come together with my halo-halo. And it was placed in a separate cup container, same with pinipig and the milk+ube. Sisig has the right amount of pork & onions and it taste authentic. On the other hand, their lechon kawali is tasteful and not overcooked. We enjoyed our late lunch and ofcourse my dessert. We will surely order again and is excited to try all the food in their menu. I really like this place. Their food is totally authentic and the staff is super friendly. I was greeted as I entered the doorway. As I walked up to the counter to see the delicious food selections, I could already smell the wonderful aroma emanating from the food. I got a two item combo with garlic fried rice and pancit. Then had to get the pork adobo, (the worker also added some gravy onto my garlic fried rice), and the lechon. The staff was really helpful, as they were generous with their serving portions. I wasn't sure if the styrofoam lid would close, because packed it with so much food! I also got a bowl of their soup. I love coming here. Back when my family used to live in San Diego in the 90s, we used to go to the Point Point in National City. Coming here brings back the nostalgia. They have a wide selection of FRESH food, something rare these days. Their Filipino bbq skewers are my fav, along with many other dishes. The thing about Point Point is that it's authentic! Lots of dishes to choose from, not just the popularized ones like adobo. Every combo comes with a small side of soup broth, my favorite is when they have sinigang. The staff is so sweet, and one guy in particular is super respectful and hospitable. The dishes are pre-prepared and does sit in catering trays most of the day but it doesn't resemble a fast food taste. Imagine a Panda Express but if grandma made all of the food.
