Family run. Beer is top quality. The place is very clean all the time. I like every beer on their menu. Burlington is lucky to have them.

I stopped by this brewery while road-tripping between Richmond and Charlotte--always on the hunt…read morefor a new spot with solid beer and food. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite hit the mark. The space itself is nice--plenty of seating inside and out, a private room in the back, clean bathrooms and even a stage where live music was playing during our visit. But the food situation was confusing. They have a full kitchen and menu listed, yet when we arrived, they were only serving food from a BBQ food truck/side business. Not sure if it was a staffing issue, a special event, or just how they do things on certain days, but it definitely wasn't clear for someone just passing through. Beer-wise, they had a decent range of styles, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Everything was just... okay. Not bad, but not memorable. Service was similar--there seemed to be only one guy behind the bar running things while the rest were tied to the BBQ setup. He wasn't rude, just not super engaged. All in all, this place was fine, but nothing WOWed me. With a little more clarity on the food, a stronger beer lineup and more upbeat staff, it could be a much better stop for travelers passing through, or even the regulars.

Love the Oxford location! Great menu with specials on the board. Seating indoor and outdoor…read more Cocktails and beer available. Super friendly staff. Ordered the Quirk Cherry Blossom & Lime seltzer, burger and tots. The seltzer was very good, def hits more cherry and floral than lime. The burger was excellent and the tots crispy. The price point was a little high for me on the burger ($12) since it didn't come with anything. Tots were an additional $4. I get it, it's expensive to run a business. Overall, totally worth the stop and would come again.

This would make for a fun outing with the kids as there is also a red caboose stationed in town as well. They certainly embrace their railroad history. On to what you're probably looking for, a review of the brewery. There is street parking available and a good number of spots. Not sure if it's free or not during the week. We arrived right at 12, so there were only three people there. The interior is mostly white, but they either chiseled away or put drywall up to expose brick. My friend and I both ordered the Wexford Red Irish ale. It was your typical amber beer. You could choose from several IPAs or other dark beers. Overall, nothing too memorable but a nice spot to stop by when you have time.

The staff is very friendly here and allows you to sample whatever beer you'd like before you make a choice. I love supporting local businesses and breweries. I've only had 2 of their beers but today that's gonna change! I will follow up with another update to this review shortly! Update: Beers I've had 1. Doppnator 2. Wee Bit Export 3. Gateway of India, IPA 4. Industrious Porter 5. Warrior Knight 6. Alt Refresh 7. Calibrator 8. Retro BSA So far all of these beers are great except the British Strong Ale which may not be my cup of tea and the industrious Porter. However, the porter tasted good I just couldn't drink a full glass. It's a heavy beer but that's expected with porters.
