Tuna and Salmon Small Poke bowl(2 protein)
Gabby D.

I gave this place 4 stars because I can honestly say the service of the server was amazing and he was very patient. The place was very clean which is a major plus. I do like the options they have. I hoped the cucumbers and kale would have been cut slightly smaller. There wasn't enough sauce on the mix but it probably could have been asked for over all I enjoyed my meal but just wish it would have been slightly better. Maybe next time.

Hair in my food. Never going back! First and last time. So unfortunate. I usually go to the Lawrenceville Suwanee road location and this has never happened.

I was craving poke, and one of the closer ones is Poke Bar. I've been here before, but in a different location and have had good experiences. I ordered a small poke bowl with 1/2 of white rice and 1/2 of spring mix. With that, I got spicy tuna and salmon with some toppings if my choice with spicy mayo and ponzu. They mix the toppings, proteins except the spicy tuna with the sauces. There's not a lot of seating inside, so I went outside to eat. While eating, I realized that the proportion of the proteins and base were uneven. There was more base than proteins and toppings, and for $13 it was a bit overpriced. Service was also mediocre, wasn't good but wasn't bad. Overall, I can pay less for better quality food and service. Will not be coming back here again unfortunately.

Medium bowl: tuna, scallop, and octopus as the proteins.

I really liked how this place had a variety of sauces and seafood toppings. The price point was fairly decent. The topping portions were okay. If you don't know what a poke is about, it's primarily a raw, diced fish bowl. It's pretty much a build your own bowl with step by step choices starting generally with a base, proteins, side items, and sauces to finish it off. Think of a Chipotle or Moe's if you're not sure what I'm talking about. Their categories of mix in's, sides, and toppings made it seem like you get a little more variety. But I also do think they only give you a small pinch. I'm just recalling from very vague, past past memories of other poke places I've been to. My base was pretty unique. I had the kale (?) noodles for $1 more. I can eat pasta all day, but throw in the word veggies... Well, I dunno. But, the noodles were pretty tasty. If I wasn't told it was made from veggies, I would have thought otherwise. And this was served cold btw. I choose the small bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. I added kale, pineapple (that's pretty different), and cilantro as the mix-in's. The eel sauce was really unique as a choice. Imitation crab and seaweed salad as the sides. And finally crispy onion as the topping. The hub's bowl was a medium. He had tuna, scallop, and octopus as the topping choices. The hubs was giddy that they had corn as a mix-in bc you don't see this as an option at a lot of poke places. I won't go into detail what he choose to build his bowl, but you can at least see the size difference in my picture between a small (in black) and medium (in white). I went last Sunday around 5 ish so they are still open. Their (1) staff member at the time had a handkerchief covering with gloves so they are definitely practicing safety protocols. Guests did keep their distance as best they could while waiting to order.

Medium Bowl $12.95 Protein: Spicy Chicken, Spicy Tuna and Shrimp Avocado $1 up charge Unlimited veggies Brown rice and Kale for the base

This is my favorite Poke place so far! They are very generous with the portions. It felt like a large bowl even though I got a medium one. I would say it's relatively reasonable as a medium bowl is $12.95. With everything going on around, poke bowls are a great choice as you can even eat it in your car if you're scared to dine in. I'll most likely get it again over the weekend. Usually I never mix fish and chicken for my proteins but this time I did, and I certainly loved it. I also added avocados even though it was a dollar up charge because avocados make everything taste good.

Dongyoon S.

The bowl wasn't even mixed properly and the "strawberry popping boba" wasn't even popping boba. If you don't have the type of boba please just inform me instead of charging me for it.

Food is decent . Thanks to the cashier dude he gives me plenty of food . Fruits are probably stored in cooler that's why it's a little cold but all fresh . And the Asian dude who ( wears ghostbuster shirt )works in the kitchen is cute . Will be back again .

Always a tasty choice to eat at Poke Bar. The options and combinations are endless and food is simply awesome. Great staff, fair prices and quick service.

Thank goodness for Poke Bar! Located off Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth in the plaza with Einstein Bros. I needed something healthy-ish. Outdoor seating is available. Order inside. I ordered the salad with no protein. I packed up the toppings though. Also got a drink. Delicious food, I just wanted a bit more "dressing" on it. I was full and felt great. Definitely will come back. 73/2021

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.
