Wonderful restaurant for chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and fast Japanese style fare. Discovered this place by a recommendation and I work nearby so this was a welcome addition to my options of places to eat when I don't bring lunch from home. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box which comes with 2 sides of which they have excellent options including healthy choices like seaweed salad and regular salad. Comes with a few sushi pieces which is nice and I added a fountain drink of which their options include coke products and sweet and unsweetened tea made in house. The customer service is friendly and helpful. I told the cashier it was my first time and she was very kind and helped me make some great choices. The ambiance of the store is spacious and mom and pop feel while being organized and friendly. Here we go, I visited this restaurant when I went to Georgia in September. It's located in a strip mall on the main highway. There were numerous restaurants in the area, but I picked this particular one. A nice little place to stop and pick up food for dinner. I walked into the crowded restaurant, I'm assuming the food had to be good to be packed on a Sunday. Yes, I can say it was delicious . BTW the food is cooked in front of you while you wait for your number to be called. The line was moving pretty fast which was great because I was starving lol. Workers had on masks as they were cooking, the restaurant was very clean and bright. As far as pricing it was reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Tasty I might say. Extreme Teriyaki is a great place if you're looking to eat something on the go or even stay and eat there. The interior is clean and organized. There is plenty of seating and they have different sauces for you to take as needed. The parking is also ample as this restaurant is in a plaza! The food is really good! I've ordered the chicken and salmon teriyaki entrees which have always been delicious. Their fried rice with vegetables is great as well!! Another reason why I love this locations is because of the service. The person who takes the orders (I wish I would have gotten their name) is always so nice! Well this place is fairly easy to locate off Holcomb Bridge. I had to go by the office so we decided to grab food on the way home. The parking lot has several businesses so a little crowded. You can park the lot over and walk up the restaurant. This makes it easy to leave afterwards without driving around the corner. The staff was friendly. They were wearing masks and gloves. There were social distancing markings to help people while placing orders and waiting for their food to come up. Okay so we both ordered teriyaki chicken just one w dark and other with white meat. The teriyaki sauce was good. I was offered extra sauce but did not receive it. Too far to drive back for it. The chicken was good. The fried rice we asked for was not fried. The rice was also mushy. I know that it says express so not made fresh. However, we were just given plain on steamed rice that had been sitting too long. Not a plus. The vegetables were half and half. Some were steamed right and other half needed to be cooked some more. I was not happy with our orders. Neither one of us finished our food. I ended up cooking when we got home. Good prices for amount of food but just needs better execution. Really upset my non fried rice. Very disappointing. I would not try it again for a while in hopes of improvement. read more

Extreme Teriyaki Grill Express is one of those restaurants that I have driven by numerous times on Holcomb Bridge Road heading west but never stopped in until recently. The interior is very sparse and I'm surprised that people choose to dine in because it seems like it's mostly a takeout place to me. I like the various choices on the limited menu and have since returned to try other options. The food is cooked to order but comes out rather quickly. They could use more ingredients in their items such as vegetables or meats but I do get filled up and I see important part for me. They do not have any online ordering at this point in time (which is rather odd) but they do allow phone orders. I have placed two phone orders so far and I have found the woman that takes the orders to be concise. There is plenty of parking in this lot facing Holcomb Bridge Road and if it's full there is an adjacent lot nearby. It's a small restaurant but has enough seating that we never had to fight for a table. It's also hard floors and glass walls, which could be noisy when full, but we never had an issue. I was in the area for a conference, and after my first visit I decided to eat here every day of that event, because I thought the food was great. It's very affordable and the quality is good for the price. The way they cook the chicken hibachi, giving it a bit of a sear added a wonderful texture to go with the great flavors. I had the bento box each day, trying different sides each time. The seaweed salad was the best, with the shrimp tempura following close behind. The gyoza, spring rolls, and steamed vegetable sides were adequate. The California rolls are of fast-food quality, but quite enjoyable at this price point. However, they are quite stingy with the pickled ginger and wasabi, but it gets the job done. I could ask for more, and they did supply an extra yum-yum sauce when asked. That sauce is hous made and thinner than typical, but the flavors are spot on. read more

During these trying times you have companies that are changing due to inflation. At this particular location they have gone with a 2 dollar price hike with smaller portions. The container is now significantly smaller, packed with more rice and vegetables with embarrassingly less chicken scattered across. My fiancée and I decided to try the new Asian spot across the street. I got there around 8ish and was helped immediately. The cashier upfront was very nice, informative, and had great customer service. I ordered the Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box with white rice, Seaweed Salad and Dumplings. My fiancée ordered the same, but with fried rice, cheese wontons, and veggie spring rolls. The shrimp were alright which is the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars. They were over cooked and tasted hella rubbery. The teriyaki sauce was delicious and the rice was cooked perfectly. There Bento boxes are awesome and the perfect size for a light dinner. You're able to choose from a protein, rice (white or fried), and two (2) sides you would like. It automatically comes with four (4) California rolls and any extra sauces you might like. We opted for extra teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce on the side, but they do offer spicer options if that's your thing. The seaweed salad was delicious and flavored perfectly. The dumplings were alright. I'm not sure if they were suppose to be fried or boiled because the texture was a peculiar texture between the two. Note - they are chicken dumplings. (They don't advertise what kind they are. I had to ask.) My fiancée said the wontons were good and so were her veggie spring rolls (2). The establishment was extremely clean which was great to see and I believe I paid around $20 for the both of us which is pretty cheap for a fulfilling meal. Something not quite...rice! Let me start off by saying, for quickie hibachi take out, it's going to be hard to match price, quantity and quality with ET (Extreme Teriyaki). I was truly amazed by the overall experience with ET. Now! I live with a very ... very picky eater. Were also trying to eat a little cleaner when it comes to meals we dont prep/cook. And with Covid, shes extra extra on where we procure food. Not to mention she eats like child and wont eat certain things. Second. I know a bit about Asian cuisines and I'm particular about certain things IE if your a Chinese restaurant your Egg Roll best be spot on...or your $&!t to me. Japanese best make one hell of unagi or anago sashimi...or your done in my book! But ET is a bit different. They combine both ... and this is where the ONLY issue I had comes to play. The RICE! As they serve both cuisines I think they "cut the corner" on stocking two types of rice and only use Sushi rice. Because while its slightly acceptable to swap a short grain chinese rice, you cant replaced the mid grain sticky rice in Japanese. Sushi rice is a very particular grain in how its prepared. Now then... This food. Amount. Quality. Flavor. Quantity. AMAZING! It's a limited menu, but it's part of the reason this place is packed for weekday lunch and the lot is full most of the night till they close. For less tha $20 I fed 4 people off two meals. Everything was adequately prepared and served. It was ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. The service was quick and helpful. They even supply Yum Yum sauce. [Theres is a little thin, but tasty]. We had the chicken hibachi and teriyaki shrimp combos. They offer 2/$8.99 and 3/$9.99. They also have steak and tofu (by location). The chicken was grilled perfect and still juicy. The shrimps were med size but plentiful and still firm when served. The rice had just enough soy sauce...and they choose to serve the veg separately, not mixed in to the fried rice. This...this was a blessing. The kids got to enjoy rice with just a small amount of veg, rather then not at all because .. well you know...just that age! But these veg were cut well, cooked with crunch still on them and fresh!!! I got the salmon teriyaki bento box, which had a very large piece of salmon, delicious sauce, a nice portion of rice, 4 pieces of California roll, and two sides (I got salad and a delicious piece of shrimp tempura). Not bad! I decided to try this place out today, going for the spicy tuna sushi with vegetable egg roll as the side. Both selections were good. You do get half of the full side item though. The vegetable egg rolls come in twos typically. They offer several different sauces. I recommend getting your sauce on the and not on the sushi. I had to double back for them to correct this. Extreme Teriyaki is a fast food hibachi restaurant serving up all the favorites of a full service hibachi restaurant. The restaurant is located in a shopping center right next to Willy's off of Holcomb Bridge. There is parking out front and around the side of the restaurant. We took our team member to lunch since she just started. We ordered food and it took under 10 minutes for them to call our order number. I ordered the hibachi shrimp with noodles instead of rice. The food came out piping hot! I could barely eat it! Lol anywho, everyone enjoyed their meal and we were in and out in under 45 minutes. Definitely a good restaurant to try! read more

I looked at the menu online from the pictures posted here on yelp, which showed a two entrée teriyaki plate for $10. I called to order it and when I went to pick it up, it was actually over $15. I got a chicken and beef plate. The chicken was OK but the beef was gross. It reminded me of the texture of beef that comes out of broccoli beef Chinese food. When you get teriyaki you expect to get nice slices of steak, not slimy weird tasting weird textured, 'broccoli beef' beef. Especially when you're charging $15 for a plate. I wish I would've taken a picture of what it looked like. They just scattered the chicken and the beef together over the entire rice and vegetables. This was completely weird compared to what I'm used to where you would get your chicken in one portion and your beef in another portion separate from the rice. If you're used to getting good teriyaki, this is not it. Maybe the other food is good I wouldn't know cause I haven't had it, but I just moved here from California and this is not up to par. So sad I didn't find a great teriyaki place. By the way, the meat was cold in several places, which means they probably cook it ahead of time and then freeze it. Then they defrost it and re-cook it. I don't know how this place has so many four and five star reviews, but I will tell you the truth, this place does not hit the mark. read more

The salmon was very dry. The chicken and shrimp were good. They only gave me 5 shrimp though. I ordered the three item combo so i could share with my son. I paid 13 and were able to eat dinner and lunch. I would go again but not order the salmon. Great place when not sure of what to eat. So good and delicious. I like everything from the sushi to the Bento box. I always go for the lomein (noodle) and the teriyaki chicken. And I always get about two meals out of one of their servings. Super convenient. Can't eat in yet but when you get home get rid of the styrofoam and put it in a bowl. Much more enjoyable. read more
