I genuinely think this is the better Poke in Riverside, however sometimes it's just worth driving to Moreno Valley for some. I saw another review saying they had plastic in their bowl and I'm pretty sure mine was too. I think the rice is a hit or miss too. I've had hard rice here that wasn't properly cooked. I think their bowl choice also makes it hard to really eat the entire thing because everything sticks to it. I also dislike that they only serve miso soup when it is cold yet every other poke place I go to has it year round. I fully agree with other reviews that the price really doss not match up with the portion of food as well! Wow, it was like love at first bite. The poke tasted so delicious and fresh! Poke Bistro is set up like most poke bars: Chipotle-style. You choose a base, sides/toppings, your proteins, sauce and dry toppings. What I like about this place is that they offer pineapples for their toppings; most poke spots I've been to don't. I LOVE pineapples, especially on my pizza, tacos and now poke bowls! They also offer spicy crab meat and more variety for their proteins. I got a regular bowl, which includes 3 scoops and it was very filling. I went with salmon, spicy salmon & Hawaiian salmon (yes, I LOVE salmon too). I recommend getting the Hawaiian salmon; that one had to be my fave! Service was nice and quick. Seating is limited so if you come here during busy hours, it's better to take your food to go. An insect that was yellow & black with 8 black legs, a bit larger than a grain of rice and still kicking. I immediately told the counter clerk. He saw the big and took it back to the chef. Basically the only thing I eat near UCR. Lol I come once or twice every week. The fish is pretty fresh and they have a crap ton of various toppings which are all unlimited! They also have a lot a lot a lot of sauces to choose from! Regular bowl has 3 fish scoops while large bowl has 5 fish scoops. They also have poke burritos that come with 2 fish scoops. Service is good as well. I notice a lot of college students working so service is really quick and easy. I can come get my food, eat, and get back to class within my one hour class gaps! I wish the workers spent some time describing their recommended fish and sauces when you explain that it's your first time there. I got the spicy mayo and I think eel sauce? I would prefer them to mix the toppings and sauce instead of stacking it and I think the portions are really small. I was really drawn to the pictures on yelp, and bummed that mine didn't look as exciting (again I should have taken a picture.) Five stars because they added 88 Korean Corn Dog to the mix! This corn dog is one of the craziest concoctions I've had recently. It has potatoes, crinkled chili Doritos, some sort of rice batter, and also Asian (or American) dipping sauces. Reasonable prices for street inspired faire. Love it. read more

Less because I don't like the taste of it, and more because it can often be on the pricier side and I'm afraid my breath will smell like an aquarium when I meet my dream girl. Despite all this, I enjoyed my experience at poke bistro. The poke was pretty good, and due to the wide variety of components they offer, I would say it's better than most of the other poke options in this area. Per usual, I requested for pretty much every possible option on toppings, which actually tasted pretty great to me. I'm not sure if that was my subconsciousness thanking me for being cheap, or it actually genuinely tasted great. However, I do believe poke bistro was pretty good taste wise. This is literally the only good poke place in Moreno Valley/Riverside area. It's pricey now though. The burritos here are supa good! I love the poke options are good! I love hawaiian salmon/tuna. It's sooo good. the real downside to this is the scoops are mad small. Like SMALL. It's not worth practically $18 for a large bowl. But it's the best poke in my option in this area. The quality of the poke is amazing! the last time i went the dude that was helping us had a terrible attitude. He literally said " Are you sure you want the burrito?? There VERY small." I've been coming here for a while and this is my first post. I had the large salad bowl with 5 scoops. The young lady asked if I wanted ponzu on my salad before the toppings and I thought that was a great idea. I had her add the lemon creamy also before the additions. I made my selections and she had other suggestions that made the meal very tasty. She was very kind and her customer service was great. The food is a bit pricey but I do not expect to pay less for fresh fish. If you pay any less then I would question the integrity and the freshness. I enjoyed my meal in the restaurant because it was very hot out. While I was eating my meal she asked me if it was good. I told her it was and she suggested I try the sweet and spicy next time. I thought it was very nice of her. I rate them 5 stars because I got good customer service, suggestions for my meal and it was a fresh healthy meal. I found this place on my drive to Palm Springs and I'm so glad I did! I wish I lived closer because this would be my go to spot!! First, we walked in and were delightfully greeted by two nice staff. Then they guided us through the ordering process with excellent customer service. Then, when we were at the cash register, I couldn't help how pretty our bowls were so I snapped a pic. This showed their appreciation for what they do. They took great pride in creating our bowls. Then, as we started devouring our bowls, we loved the flavors and freshness. For a casual, fast serve poke spot, this poke is pretty good! We loved the crab meat flavor and the sauces and how it all tied together in flavor. And some of their toppings were unique too! 1 star and I didn't even get a chance to try the poke. Trash customer service. They had brown avocado on display and the female wanted to catch an attitude because I asked if there was fresh avocado. She wanted to snap her neck and say "are you gonna get a bowl or not" and I responded "if you don't have fresh avocado then no, I'm not going to order one. Why would I eat spoiled avocado?" She walked away from me without addressing the situation, while I was still speaking. She rolled her neck again to ask the customer behind us if he was ready to order with an attitude too. Possibly the best here in Riverside! I like this place a lot more than the other Poke locations here in Riverside and Moreno Valley. Of course, it doesn't measure up to authentic Hawaiian Poke, but the selection here is pretty vast. First comes first, the cost here is much worth the price of what you get. They have a regular size and a large size. Their selection of fish is the same amount as Lowkey Poke in downtown Riverside. The service is good too, I've never gotten bad service. My favorite server is Chris Pham, make sure you go when he's working because he's the bee's knees. I have to note their sauce selection because they have a lot of sauces that are very unique and my favorite to get, now that they have gochujang (which is Korean spicy paste), and their Korean bulgogi sauce. Yum! If you're trying to decide which poke place to go to, I suggest making the trip over here. You won't waste a dime! read more

They charge for avocado, but they give you the TINIEST amount. After I saw how little I was getting, I asked for a bit more. The guy refused to give me any more unless he was able to charge me. I ended up telling him to just take it off. 2. They were unfriendly and I felt rushed. 3. Overpriced. I've been to a lot of poke places and have been waiting to try poke bistro. Parking is poor but if you go around to the side of the Mexican market, there usually is a spot. We got the regular bowl and a Poke burrito with soy wrapper. The prices are good and the variety of choices are abundant. You can get one of every topping included in the price with extra scoops of toppings costing more. The fish was fresh and tasted pretty good but the scoops of fish are very small. The large bowl is five scoops of fish essentially equivalent to three scoops at any other poke establishment. They give you a lot of rice, too much rice to make up for the smaller serving of fish. The burrito was the worst. I just had a Poke burrito at Pokirrito in San Diego and this burrito here at poke bistro was very poorly made. My first four bites had no fish in them and the way it was rolled all the fish was on one side and not in the middle. Each bite was essentially real sweet sushi rice. Do not get the burrito. We also had a regular bowl and it was average. Again tons of rice. If you are in that parking lot I recommend the Mexican market for really great Mexican food from the deli. If you want poke, go to pokilicious instead. Update June 2017 Trying this place again. They are much better than my first visit. More toppings - grilled eel, yellowtail, spicy salmon, spicy octopus, etc. the scoops are still super small but the new toppings and help.
