The steak was overcooked, and the broth had an overwhelmingly strong balsamic-like flavor rather than the rich, savory flavor I expected based on the menu description. We also browsed the marketplace, which was very sparsely stocked during our visit, and the items that were available seemed considerably overpriced. I can only speak to what it looked like on the day we were there. I do want to give credit where it's due: everyone who took care of us was friendly and welcoming, and we visited during happy hour, which made some of the pricing a little easier to swallow. Unfortunately, even at happy-hour prices, the quality of the food simply wasn't there for us. I hate leaving reviews like this, especially when the people were so nice, but after trying multiple dishes and being disappointed across the board, I can't justify more than one star.
