The food and the service are always great here! Everything always feels fresh and tasteful!

Poke Bowl or Sushi Burrito(2 protein)
Chelsea C.

Delicious delicious delicious! Tried my first sushi burrito via a takeout order during the work week. I got to build my own, which was perfectly followed. I have a gluten allergy and did not have any issues (I indicated this on the order). If you haven't tried one yet, do it now!

This is my favorite spot to go for poke. All the sushi is super fresh and the workers don't skimp on the portions, even when you order to go! There are endless toppings and you can choose as many as you want. You can also order hot meals other than poke. The wall decorations are full of art that make the space lively. Highly recommend!

We just got takeout here to eat at our hotel and it was perfect, the poke was delicious, the portions were right, and we had 0 complaints!

Spicy and regular tuna bowl so good

Loved this place! Very nice staff. I can tell they work hard, cleaning tables as I was eating my bowl. I had just got back from San Diego and I was craving poke and raw tuna. I know michigan won't come close to the coast but this place did the job I was very impressed with the quality of my tuna, next time I will get extra for 2 dollars. Great price too and huge portions. Keep up the good work. I will be back! Too bad I live in Detroit but when in Ann Arbor I'll stop by.

Poke Fish in Ann Arbor is the best poke restaurant in Southeastern Michigan, no contest. This place is packed every day for lunch and takeout orders so the fish is fresher than any other poke place I've been to in the region. I personalize my bowl, typically with ahi tuna, spicy tuna, or salmon with veggies and no sauce. The price is reasonable too at under $13 for most bowls.

I came here today for lunch and got a 3 protein poke bowl with a rice base for $15. I got the marinated salmon, spicy tuna, and scallops. Proteins were fresh and excellent and I loved that there was no limit to the choices of toppings offered, which was also expansive and varied. In particular, I liked that they offered pineapple, tamago, and daikon, which are toppings that I don't always see at poke spots. The rice was also cooked well which is something that often slips through the cracks at poke places since it's not a focus. My only real gripe is that the ordering system doesn't allow for half and half bases (eg half rice half salad) but that's a very small issue. They also sell hibachi bowls and some apps/sides as well as mochi. Overall would definitely come back for my poke fix!

Make Your Own Poke Bowl

Really good poke bowls! They have options for set bowls and you can also make/customize your own. I always prefer to make my own so I can put exactly what I want in it. Their set bowls are really good too though! Good quality fish, and lots of options for mix ins and toppings. I will say though, I think they are reducing the amount of fish and other toppings they include over time. Overall very filling! I also like their apps and hibachi chicken for leftovers sometimes!

Still a super solid place for a build-a-bowl with good protein and fresh ingredients. My picky Little loves sushi but only salmon and very few veggies. She get double salmon protein, on rice with spring mix and cucumbers. No sauce. This is a lunch I can get behind for a growing Little. Easy to find, super fast. Not bad prices. I love the Tako balls, crab salad and all the bowl options. Very easy online ordering and takeout.

Beef ramen

I like coming to Poke Fish for their ramen. It's the one place in Ann Arbor where you can get ramen at a good price. They have had to raise their prices after Covid, but they are much more reasonable than other local spots. To he honest, I'm not the biggest fan of poke, so I have stuck with the ramen and gyoza, which are delicious. When covid hit, they pivoted to take out. They still do a lot of take out business, so they installed kiosks to order if you come inside. The only downside is that they act nonplussed if you need to talk to them. I asked for a take out container, and they seemed quite annoyed.

Ordered a poke bowl for delivery a few weeks ago and it was delish! Brown rice, mango, edamame, seaweed, cucumber, green onions, a generous amount of crispy tempura bits and sesame seeds, and a whole lot of sumptuous, fresh salmon. And I had them douse it with spicy mayo. Perfection! The salmon was so buttery and melt in your mouth. Some of the best sushi grade salmon I've had in the area, for sure. Delivery was quick and easy. I live on the west side of town so it's a bit of a route to my house and it arrived in great condition.

2 Protein Poke Bowl/Sushi Burrito

A little bit outside of the main downtown area of Ann Arbor and a couple miles from the University of Michigan, Poke Fish serves quality top tier poke bowls for a very reasonable price. Ordering here is a breeze and very customizable with the 2 automated tablets in the shop. The fish is fresh, the toppings are plentiful and varied, and the portions are excellent for what you pay for. Not to mention, the service is great. Before we could ask, they immediately greeted us and asked if we wanted water cups. Everyone there was all super friendly. The ambience is decent, and since it's tucked away in a shopping mall, it is on the quieter side. Overall, the best poke bowls you can get in the area.

I order a chicken hibatchi, went there for pickup and also got a yum yum sauce. It tasted like a Dry left over chicken and the fried rice sucked too. You can't eat it without sipping on a drink. Avoid.

Poke bowls are excellent. More take out than dine in for dinner. Service is quick and they will deliver thru Grubhub.

I saw in Chris C's review that your considering opening a location in Kalamazoo. Please please please do! We love poke and don't have a poke place anywhere near here?

Do they have veggie ramen? Menu doesn't say so and all of them have pork bone broth. Please help!

Hi Alekhya, we do offer vegetable ramen which is served in a miso broth. Although this option isn’t visible on the menu, you are more than welcome to call or walk in to place the order. Hope to see you soon!

Wow. This place has it all…read more Sister and I went on a Friday night- quick service, quick food, AND the ladies who served us were so sweet, attentive, and absolutely the best. The inside is so cute and the plates are so pretty too! Not only are the physical dishes cool, but the presentation of the sushi was too! I got 2 orders of the simple tuna, and one New York. My sister got an order of the California rolls and 2 shrimp tempura orders. Presentation was fantastic, and the sushi was divine. The salmon was so tender and almost buttery in consistency, and the veggies inside the rolls are so fresh and crisp. I always find sushi so refreshing and it hit the spot. I'd also like to mention how fantastic they are about dietary restrictions. Tons of vegan/vegetarian options PLUS GLUTEN FREE SOY SAUCE, APPS, AND A MENU. For the celiacs out there: I didn't get glutened! They took it seriously and I had no issues! If you're not sure where to go, go to Kanbu. The entire meal was around $65, and we had a lot of sushi plus a massive pot of tea. Sushi can be so expensive and I find this place to have great prices, especially for the size and quality of sushi! If you want to support authentic, local places in Ann Arbor, go to kanbu! My only regret is that I didn't take pictures.

Great Brunch, good Lunch, but menu could use more variety!…read more Savas is an adorable restaurant with a really welcoming atmosphere; the space is cute, the environment is lovely, and the staff is genuinely amazing every single time. My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.
