Delicious sushi rolls selection and fun cocktails! We also enjoyed a seasonal noodle dish that was offered probably only for summer. Quick and friendly service!

I came here for the first time and I loved it! The waitresses were very kind, refilling water often! The TVs weren't too loud. I got the tonkatsu ramen & I would go back for it! It was so good! The poke bowl was also delicious! However, pretty expensive tbh. Definitely good for a special occasion! But loved it! Will be returning

Recommended by Japanese coworkers because they said it is authentic place for ramen. It is a real deal. Noodle is made in house so is the broth. This type of quality and flavor is rare to find. Noddle is al dente, but not rubbery like the one you buy from the store. Because they are fresh. Soup you can drink the whole bowl if you want. I also had the fried chicken appetizer because the ramen is not very big serving. Fried chicken is ok pairing with their dipping sauce. Even though it is marinated, there are other places that had better fried chicken.

AMAZING FOOD! Came here on a Friday evening. Unfortunately, we had a long wait (45-60 mins). But because we got to follow our place in line, we went around the corner for a drink. The wait ended up being about 30 mins because large parties had left and some didn't want to stay & wait. But let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Sushi. Ramen. And more! They even have gluten free menu!! You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the red curry ramen bowl (the only GF option for ramen) and the avocado salmon roll. The drink options were great too! Atmosphere is casual. Parking is either street or garage. The staff was very informative and helpful. They looked like they wanted to be at work, also. It makes for a better experience when the employees are happy to be there. The only thing I would suggest (why I didn't give 5 stars) is allow reservations. The long wait turned a lot of people away and the entrance is quite small to stand around & wait.

A little wait time on frigid Saturday evening but well worth it! We enjoyed our entrees thoroughly. The ramen was spot on delicious and the poke roll sushi was some of the best I've had lately. Service was friendly and prompt.

This is my favorite ramen place in Michigan. They have great flavor and a big menu selection. Employees are nice and the vibe is nice inside. If you're in Ann Arbor you have to come here. Try the takoyaki.. and dffc noodles

My only regret was not dining in person. I DoorDashed after not enjoying my meal from White Castle. Traveling for work is not fun because you work during the day then you rush back to the hotel to do your normal work - and I had to study. Anyway. Saw great reviews and decided on ramen to wash down the dry taste in my mouth from White Castle's fries and chicken rings. Everyone must order their DFFC (duck fat fried chicken) Miso Ramen. It is spicy yet flavorful and not overwhelming. The buttered corn and the kimchi paired so well with the broth. It was so tasty that I was a little bit sad when I finished the meal. This is the first place that included napkins and utensils (or maybe I asked for it) because the many times I have DoorDashed to my hotel in the past when I'm here, utensils and napkins are never included. Oh, everyone must also order their red bean cream puffs. It is creamy, smooth, dense yet light, and not overly sweet whatsoever. It was heavenly. I only ordered 1 but should have ordered more. I think I may have to come back here before I fly back home, but this time I will drive to the restaurant.

Good potions sizes and the food is tasty. The service has always been friendly. I ordered the Yam Noodles not knowing what to expect, but they were great. Street parking can be tricky depending on the time of day, but there's a nearby parking garage.

This was my first time visiting Ann Arbor, and I wanted a warm cozy dinner to keep me warm in the snowy weather. I saw that Slurping Turtle had lots of great reviews for their ramen, so I had to try it out. I ordered the classic Tokyo shoyo and thought it was decent. Personally, I thought the broth was a little too bland, the pork was tough, and the egg wasn't very flavorful. The noodles themselves were delicious but overall the ramen was average in my opinion. It was also a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall it was a decent experience because the staff were so friendly but I'm not sure I'd call this the best ramen I've ever had. Maybe I just need to order something else next time!

Updating to say it's still amazing. The ramen are all rich and flavorful but my favorite is the Tonkatsu. Their rotating specials and desserts keep things fresh while their staples stay high quality. Their made in house noodles shine and you can buy them to cook at home too.

I recently ordered DoorDash again from ST and it was out of this world. This place is amazing. I feel ashamed to say I've never had a bao bun before and ST was able to remedy that! I got a shrimp tempura bao bun (I love the undressed slaw and the ginger sauce was delicious with it!!!), gyoza (good, but not the best in A2), and the cream puff (surprisingly yummy!). The desert puff had a great texture and it was delicious. I am a huge fan of a slight crisp gyoza and these were steamed, but still good. I can't wait to keep trying more of the menu. I've never been disappointed ordering here so far!

The ramen was flavorful, spicy, and I liked the kimchi in it. I wish the fried chicken pieces were smaller, it would make it easier to eat. The service was quick!

We met up for lunch recently and had a great experience. Nate and I first went into the wrong restaurant - they also have a more casual noodle spot next door, so be sure you know where you're meeting/going! We hadn't figured out if we wanted to do Korean BBQ or not when we first arrived, but we ended up choosing from the lunch specials/combos menu which was a great value. Plus I can never decide what I want, so it was great to be able to get a combo with two different options. I went with the bulgogi/nengmyun combo and we also got an order of mandoo to share. Our server was super patient and helpful with navigating the menu. The food came out quickly and everything was pretty tasty - I loved the mandoo (dumplings) - they were big and filled nicely. The nengmyun was good, not the best version of this dish that I've had, but it's hard to find in my city so I was happy to have theirs. I loved the spicy pork bulgogi; super flavorful and not too spicy. Nate got the sundubu stew which was delicious and quite spicy! The portions were large, especially for the price. I always forget how great it is eating in college towns - things can be way cheaper! Parking here is a bit tricky as it is anywhere downtown, but we lucked out with a street meter nearby. I will definitely be back to Tomukun in the future.

Their online menu does not have the pictures that the in store one has and woowee it is a lot of choices of noodles! Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered the pork tip noodle, the Peking pork (zhajiangmian), hot oil wide noodle, beef tendon knife noodle. YUM! The noodles are handmade, handpulled and you can customize the shape and thickness you want! The portions as you can see are massive and the prices are very reasonable! $14/$15 a bowl! My pork rib tips were too tough but still seasoned. I would say their Peking style zhajiangmian is pleasantly less authentic and I liked this version better than the original! It included a braised full egg, and not too much of the cloyingly sweet and intense sauce. We ordered and within 2 minutes we were served fresh bowls of piping hot noods. Our server was efficient, warm, knowledgeable and bilingual. She said I looked like a popular Hong Kong singer, like OMG what a cute compliment! There was convenient parking and it was really close to my friend's house. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, pleasant, and relaxing--perfect for enjoying both great food and great company.
