I'm a Nashville local and was in Murfreesboro for a couple of days for an event. I looked up restaurants close to me with a focus on Thai and sushi and saw this in the results as a Poke restaurant. It is conveniently located yet a small place in a large plaza so may take a little looking to find it. I arrived around 1230 - prime lunch time on a Friday. There were 4 - 5 people in front of me with half picking up online orders. I ordered the Volcano bowl and subbed the standard proteins with cubed spicy tuna and shrimp and a greens base. The food was prepared in front of me and I paid within 2 minutes or ordering. The tuna melted in my mouth full of flavor itself with plenty of additional with what's included with the volcano bowl. Everything tasted very fresh and I would not hesitate to go back again (considering going back for dinner tonight). I've seen similar reviews where the protein portions could have been larger; however, I did not find myself hungry before dinner. Definitely check out this place if you're a sushi, Thai, or Poke fan. This place is yummy! It's set up like a build your own sandwich except it's build your own bowl! Fresh fish and tons of toppings to choose from. They also offer add ons for the finishing touch like furikake and crispy garlic. On our way from Florida to Chicago and had to stop to eat. OMG, this place is addictive and amazingly delicious. What a great concept. Somewhat like Chipotle's where you see the ingredients and pick what you want or you can choose a signature bowl. The picture is the "surfing" poke bowl. The boba teas (we each had Thai boba teas) are no lie, the best I've ever tasted. The raw seafood tastes super fresh and the other ingredients were incredibly fresh and healthy too. You can tell they take pride in their product. (If you don't like raw fish you can order shrimp, crab, or tofu.) The only bad thing is we don't have one where we live. Probably a good thing because I think my family would become addicted and eat there 2 to 3 times per week. Oh, and the husband and wife team that were there are incredibly friendly and helpful with explaining items. I hope they become a franchise one day. OK... So as I have said before, I am a fan of "da Poki". I had just finished shopping and was thinking about dinner. Basic staples running thru my head and I look up and saw this place. I immediately hit Yelp and read a couple of reviews and pointed the Mustang in the direction. I get there and not a lot of people in the place. But.. It looks more set-up for take out. I was met with warm "Welcome". Just looking at the options, my mouth was watering. I ordered my standard spicy tuna, salmon and something new, spicy scallops. Off to the veggies, toppings and sauces. I asked for some low sodium soy and bamm...in the bag. I get back to my Hotel room, unpack it all and dig in. Oh Man what a treat. The spice level on the fish and scallops was perfect. Veggie portions to rice was spot on. It hit the spot.. If you haven't tried it...you need to. And it just reaffirmed me that, when it comes to good eats, all you have to do is "look up". Been waiting to try this place since seeing their sign a few weeks back. I finally had the chance, and was not disappointed. The fish tasted fresh, and the ingredients used were flavorful. I chose the Volcano Poke bowl, instead of a make your own. The only downside is that they do not have soy sauce and sriracha (or any sauces) on the tables. They give you soy sauce packets, but for the size of the bowls a bottle would be better. All in all, it is a nice restaurant for a quick, filling meal. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Each asked if I enjoyed my meal, and if I needed anything else several times. I will definitely return for another visit, and recommend it for others. The only word of advice is that they do not have an extended menu, so if you're not looking for poke, this is not the place for you. Pretty good! I have been in love with poke and so glad that we're getting so many different restaurants all through Middle Tennessee. Located in a little strip right on the intersection of Medical Center Pkwy and Thompson Ln, you can't miss it. The restaurant is light and airy, with plenty to seating and some bar tops. One major pro for me here is that most of the toppings are included, aside from avocado. And they have a good assortment (see pictures for list). I got a regular size bowl, which comes with 2 proteins - I chose tuna and salmon. And pretty much a little bit of everything. Everything was fresh and it was perfect amount of food for me. I don't like my poke drenched in sauced, but they did add a little of the poke sauce (as recommended) and it was good. As for the price, I would say they're about average, around as expected. I'll definitely be back - service as great and very helpful. They have bubble tea as well, but I'm on a diet, blah. read more

Fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoy every time I visit. The selection is big enough to have a good variety but I always seem to gravitate towards the same thing because it is so good. Minus one star for protein to rice ratio. I think they could do just a bit better on protein size, however I do give them credit for loading up with the free toppings. Oh, wow! This place is so fresh. I tried the Volcano signature bowl and my husband had the Surfing signature bowl over sushi rice. The fish was perfect. We did add a little sauce variety to it, but we left feeling full without feeling heavy. The staff was kind and checked on us after we sat down. They were also very nice at the counter.
