One of the best poke places around Nashville, hands down. I came to get food to go here with some friends who were familiar with the Murfreesboro area. I decided to do a build you own regular bowl. I went with two scoops of Ahi tuna over sushi rice. I also did some free toppings which included seaweed salad, edamame, mango, cucumbers, ginger, wasabi, jalepeños, spicy mayo, and ginger sauce. A telling sign of a great poke place is their fish. The ahi tuna was so flavorful and fresh. Each ingredient complimented the fish so well! This place is locally owned and the couple is so kind. They always remember orders of regulars and it's much appreciated. Make sure you come by to support this amazing business!

Great food and great prices! Took my dad here to eat before we went to see a movie and he enjoyed the food. We both got build-your-own bowls and the guy at the counter was very polite. Place is well lit and clean, will definitely eat here again in the future.

Neat little place. I was a little unsure since they weren't busy. But, don't let it stop you. They tout themselves as Hawaiian Cuisine. Simple process with lots of options. The sushi protein is always fresh and I think I'm in love with the furikake topping with spicy mayo dressing and seaweed salad. Oh, and I got masago too :)

Fast and Fresh. Love this spot. I have only ever gotten take out, but it is delicious. The bowls are flavor packed and the sauces are very tasty. One of the options is on nachos. My partner tried that and it was delicious it needs a bigger container so the chips on the bottom can get saucy!

Very fresh and flavorful selections! My first time here & I was a little confused on how to order, so I went with one of their pre-selected items, the Poke Fun bowl & I chose sushi rice to go with it. If you like sushi, you'll love this!! My second visit, I still ordered the Poke Fun bowl as I'm not sure what all goes well together...my husband is not a fan of sushi (or most veggies) so I told him to get something with cooked seafood. He chose the Tempura shrimp bowl & he liked it, but not enough options available for him. Guess I'll be back with my daughter next time!

We first tried this place when it opened. The interior is cute, very clean inside. They serve you subway/chipotle style , kind of like an assembly line. Food was good but a little on the pricy side considering portions were a very small. They're a little skimpy on veggies even if you ask for extra. The sauces are great but they charge extra if you want more than one. My family and I left hungry after we ate here. I would say this is more of an appetizer, small plates, snacks type of place. We had to eat again after a couple hours lol We will be back again when we're in town to see if it's better :)

I seriously love this place. I literally survived my last semester eating here often. So many different varieties to choose from. I always love trying new flavors and ingredients here but my go-to is a small sushi rice+spicy tuna with many different toppings and I'm always full after eating half of my bowl. Staff is so friendly and helpful answering questions. I tried their new shrimp tempura and it is SO delicious. I saw that they also have boba tea so I need to try that next time but I'm pretty sure it's going to be the basic bubble tea powders but I'm not complaining~ Don't let me forget that the place looks so welcoming and clean ALL the time. read more

So I cannot express to you how fantastic this place is! Located at the corner of Thompson Lane and Med Center Parkway in front of Chop House. Poke Fun offers a build your own bowl concept. First of all let's talk clean. This restaurant is immaculate! With a white interior you know it takes a lot of effort to keep it that way. The food is fantastic. The items on the choice bar are fresh. The fish is fresh firm and cold. The options are endless and the prices are fair. I highly suggest you treat yourself to a meal here. read more

My daughter and I eat here all the time. Poke bowls are just great food. You choose your base, protein, veggies, and toppings. They build your bowl while in line. Very courteous employees. Very clean eating area. If you like sushi, you'll love poke bowls. I always add ginger and wasabi to my bowl, so I can have a chopstick full of rice, fish, and wasabi to get my sushi fix while I eat my poke bowl. I love it. read more

Loved the choices for customization. Raw fish salad may sound a little off-putting for some folks, but it's really not much different than sushi, except not as expensive and with a lot more flavor choices. Prices are reasonable and service was great. Give something new a try. read more

This place is way too expensive and the serving size is so small. I have been to places that was double the size and only cost around $8. The poke bowl was just average too, nothing special. The sauce is okay, it could have been better. They also have bubble tea which is not good at all and was very water down. read more

Returned after considerable time and as good as original visits. Extremely fresh ingredients, numerous choices, spotless premises and friendly helpful service....many of the things missing from numerous places opening in Murfreesboro. So delicious!!! This is my favorite Poke place. It's always clean, super fresh, and the employees are very friendly. The food is delicious, they use the highest quality ingredients and it's set up like a chipotle, subway, or any "build your own" type of restaurant. They have some signature bowls or you can build your own and add what you want. So delicious abs so filling every time!!! 10/10 recommend. read more

Really wanted to love this place but come on! 13.5 for a bowl that isn't even half full.....that's terrible. I think I have 5 cucumber pieces, a few pieces of cabbage, I can't find my edamame. Core Life does ten times better for an AHI tuna bowl. These are too expensive to not give large scoops of the secondary items. I will not be back til that changes. Gonna keep looking..... read more

It was my first time eating Hawaiian food and I loved it. In fact, I will prefer poke bowls whenever I am craving sushi. I like it much better than sushi rolls. I built my own bowl and also had the volcano bowl. The volcano was alot better. I dont think Im good at building bowls! read more

I tried this place a week after they opened and it was amazing. Everything fresh, great taste and a variety of condiments. My wife and I went back there a week after and as always, they delivered everything fresh and delicious as always. Today, April 18, 2019 I went back for the third time at 2:30 p.m. as they say the third time is a charm. Anyway, I ordered a small bowl which comes with a base, one protein and whatever you want to add to your bowl, I got rice as a base, they'll try to fill it up halfway with rice just because it's very inexpensive to make. I asked for one scoop, she gave me two. No biggie, let's move on to the add ons. Literally half an ounce portions on everything, I had to ask extra on the protein just because you're paying a Hamilton for a veggie bowl plus the half ounce of yellowtail. Other than that, the freshness is always there, not to mention the costumer service, they have my business. read more

If you're wondering what in the world this place is, think of an Asian version of Moe's Southwest Grill with a Hawaiian twist. Sushi in a bowl, though highly questionable, is undoubtedly delicious and completely adheres to state regulations regarding consumption of raw seafood. The workers are kind and helpful. The prices are a little steep, but I'm more than happy to pay for quality when it comes to sushi. read more

The dining room was under construction and they had weirdly aggressive signs on the window telling you to not touch the plants. Plus there was not a garbage in the lobby or outside to throw away your Boba straw wrapper. We would not go back again.

The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is generous enough to enjoy for a second meal later. Our server was Jaylin and she was ate five and came by to check in to make sure we didn't need anything! The cafe has a laid back atmosphere. Poke Fun is the most welcoming place there is in Murfreeboro! Their food is so amazing and fresh always. I always enjoy their Surfing Bowl and there is something about always seeing the same workers in there. They always welcome you when you come in, theyve got the best boba, all flavors all toppings, and the ambiance is amazing. Theyre also the most patient people I know whether they have worked there a while of are in training. I can see the setting being great for studying, its always clean and calm, music plays, and I genuinely love coming to poke fun. Trust me when I say the prices are worth it!!
