We came back to The X Pot again on July 4th, and once again they exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, everything was outstanding. Our waitress, Vicky, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was just as amazing as we remembered from our last visit. The premium meats, seafood, and overall dining experience continue to impress us every time. If you're looking for a luxury hot pot experience in Las Vegas, The X Pot is definitely worth visiting. We'll definitely be back again soon. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you, Vicky, for the excellent service!

If I won the lottery, I wouldn't say anything but there would be signs... The X Pot is not cheap, but definitely worth every penny! I came here with my best friend for Galentines Day, which coincided with Lunar New Year. We ordered the Tasting Menu and I got the Oxtail Tomato Soup. (SO GOOD). Everything was presented as you would expect for a nice Vegas restaurant: with showmanship! The signature feast combo came with a dry ice fog, and some other tables ordered some items that required flames a few feet high. Service is amazing. The staff are so nice and informative, and showed us a way to get a few bucks off with a Chubby Club membership. We used the rewards at another one of their restaurants on the SF Peninsula. Also, we got a horse plushie for the new year! We ate to our hearts content and got a couple drinks. I couldn't look at wagyu for a few days after that... not that I look at it very often at all. Overall I'd say the X Pot is worth the trip if you rarely go to Vegas!

INCREDIBLE experience, great for both seafood and meat lovers. There's a whole fresh seafood bar that you steam at your table - the scallops were my fav. Also the included A5 wagyu was PLENTY and it was so good. The broths were yummy, I loved the tomato beef. The tom ya is spicy fyi. Service was EXCELLENT - thank you Ryan! He had incredible energy and gave us great recs throughout the night. We also had a large group and got seated in a private room which felt very intimate!

I've been a patron of X Pot for as long as they've been open. Their business model has switched from a more curated experience to an AYCE model. Service has never fallen short here, as to be expected with the hefty price tag of dining here. Definitely come on an empty stomach, wagyu becomes overwhelming quickly. My visit in October 2025 was around the start of their AYCE model. Their menu has changed since then leaning heavily into their premium seafood offerings - amazing for seafood fans. Offering unlimited Kizami wasabi is a nice touch. X Pot is worth the premium dining experience for hosting, a date night, or the 1 meal you should always default to every Vegas trip. It has never missed. The only negative I've ever experienced was that their restrooms weren't the most well kept on more than one occasion. Not just messy from customer use, but facilities management.

I love me an experience at a Chubby Group restaurant. My girlfriend and I were in town for EDC, and it so happens to land during our anniversary so we decided to have dinner at The X Pot. We placed a reservation in and were checked in by the wonderful host staff. We were seated and greeted with a happy anniversary card on our table, which was a delight. Due to the high volume, we were told the price was the weekend pricing, we did not mind as this actually opened up the caviar bar which is typically only available in weekends. The soup bases we chose were Creamy Lobster and Chicken, both great but didn't stand out. The meat quality is where this place stands out. Each cut of wagyu was a great experience and pair wonderfully with our soups. The unlimited seafood was also delicious, the crab and lobster tails are extremely high quality we came for multiple rounds. The caviar bar was also amazing, we have never had caviar and this made us want even more! One thing that was a little disappointing was the table side dishes didn't quite make it to our table as much as we had hoped they would. I figured maybe they go toward different areas of the restaurant and ran out by the time it reached us. Not a big deal but it would've been nice to see a few more options. The desserts were also good, the cream puffs offered a sweet surprise with each type. We will be returning again, and multiple Chubby Group concepts as we are Chubby Plus members!

We first came to the X Pot in Vegas years ago before it transitioned into this incredible all-you-can-eat seafood experience! The new concept is great and a perfect fit for the Chubby Rewards Member franchise. Massive Chubby Group fan here, can't you tell?! The restaurant is incredibly spacious, but it is very popular so definitely make a reservation in advance. The food consists of premium sushi, fresh cooked seafood, and a combined steamed seafood and Wagyu hotpot. (Fun fact: The hotpot style used here is inspired by traditional Chengdu-style hotpot, but Xpot has completely modernized it into a high-end luxury experience!) What's also neat is that your meal comes with a roaming dim sum cart packed with premium appetizers. The lobster soup dumplings are a absolute must-try! They also feature Wagyu steak sirloins, mini Wagyu burgers, shrimp pan-fried dumplings, and sesame balls rolled out on carts two at a time. For the sushi portion, the creativity and freshness are exceptional. They offer a great selection of sashimi and nigiri served with real, fresh wasabi on the side. I stuffed myself on the Wagyu nigiri topped with uni, the fresh salmon, and the bluefin tuna nigiris. If you're lucky, the sweet ama ebi (sweet shrimp) will make an appearance during your meal too, as different selections come out throughout the evening. The cooked seafood section is a luxury lover's dream, featuring crab legs, giant cocktail shrimp, clams, and unlimited LOBSTER TAILS with hot butter. (Pro-tip: Use the kitchen shears located right at your table to easily crack open the tails. Lobster it up! I claw you not. ) Once you feel like it, you grab raw seafood from the bar, like whole crabs, oysters, and clams, and bring it back to your table to steam on a specialized tray directly over your boiling hotpot broth. It's a brilliant, multi-level concept that I've never experienced before. What a unique dining experience! For my hotpot base, I chose the rich and creamy lobster broth to cook the selection of unlimited, beautifully marbled Wagyu beef and fresh veggies. Don't forget to save room for the dessert and pastry table in the center of the room. Alongside fresh fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew), they have macarons, delicious flaky egg tarts, and even a caviar station! Because it's constantly packed, the service isn't always lightning-fast, but the staff is incredibly polite. What fascinated me the most was their superhero pace at refilling the seafood stations the second they ran low, and the incredible creativity of the presentation. I absolutely will be returning here. A must-visit in Vegas for seafood and Wagyu lovers!

They have a new format and a variety of different foods. The seafood is self serve along with dessert, fruit, sushi, sashimi and salad. The meats are brought to your table. There is also a revolving dim sum style cart that comes around with different items each time. The Wagyu meat is so tender. If you want to steam your own lobster, scallops, and shrimp be aware that your soup pot is gonna be out of commission while steaming. Service was fast and friendly. The only broth I can have is the lobster broth because of my gluten sensitivity. I asked what about the tomato broth. He said they changed the recipe and the tomato now has some gluten. I enjoyed the sashimi, lobster salad, Wagyu meats, fruit and veggies. Definitely make it a plan to return again.

So I saw an ad on Instagram introducing The UNLIMITED EXPERIENCE at XPOT $128 for non members and $98 for members. There's also a premium option for the high rollers! I went on Yelp to make sure they had HIGH RATINGS to see if it's worth it or not... SERVICE: A+ Excellent! Thank you Ryan!! Wanted to give 3 stars but, the SERVICE saved the day. It was the first thing we noticed. Everyone greeted us upon entry. We were also the FIRST CUSTOMERS to arrive at 5pm. Ryan gave us a nice tour of the buffet, also helped cook some items for us and explained that we had the option to cook the raw seafood in a steam pot or into the hotpot... OYSTERS: 10/10 I love oysters!! I took 2 at a time. I got a total of 4 oysters but looks like they ran out within 1 hour to 1 and a half hour. I waited a couple minutes but, it still wasn't refilled yet so JUST BE AWARE that it takes a while to refill the oysters! RAZOR CLAMS: Very disappointing!! No where in sight. My server said it won't be ready for at least 3 hours and there's a 2 hour time limit so we are paying $128 for a missing item in a buffet :( VERY Disappointed we could have paid for another buffet like the WYNN BUFFET for example for $80 and they would have every item out!!!! LOBSTER TAIL: 10/10 Highly recommend cooking this in the Hotpot! It stays nice and tender and the hotpot broth gives it more flavor. I would stay away from the cooked lobster bc it's too cold and chewy... CRAB LEGS: At the cold section was very good but, be careful I actually got one piece that had BLACK coloring on the crab legs and inside. I should have taken a picture but, I was too hungry and forgiving. Just take CAUTION ... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Yes the ambiance is TOP NOTCH! High end and modern luxury designs throughout the entire facility. I heard the mortgage or lease was $100,000 a month!?!?! There's a nice photo opportunity in the front with the golden dragon on the wall decor at the entrance... NO CAVIAR? I saw an influencer on Instagram promoting the caviar with Chinese donuts. I wonder where that was?!?!?!? OVERALL: Was it worth it? If you love seafood and you have the time and patience to cook some seafood. They also have a nice selection of sushi with SWEET SHRIMP. I would say it's worth trying. We are glad we did and decided to become members of the CHUBBY CATTLE GROUP!!!! Dear XPOT I wish you had regular tomato broth without the oxtail!!!! Dear XPOT I miss the dancing noodles!!! Dear XPOT, I LOVE YOU A LOT!!!

Man, this place was great for the price! It kept popping up on our socials, and since we were in Vegas for a business trip, we decided to check it out. The hot pot could've been a little more flavorful, but overall the seafood was really good. The only thing that was a little off was the shrimp--it tasted slightly fishy. But overall, it was a great meal and we definitely left stuffed.

My first impression was, "We're a fan of the Chubby Club restaurant group and we're excited to try this one in Las Vegas at the Venetian." Off the bat, our server Michael was awesome and explained all of the menu and beverage options with detail. The list of craft cocktail options alcohol and non-alcoholic was expansive to go along with the dining experience which includes crispy appetizers, tableside experiences (dim sum style) live seafood steam pot, and Japanese A5 wagyu hot pot. Xavier who was working the tableside experiences brought out hot dishes while we were dining and explained everything in detail. The service was exceptional all around and the food was good quality and over the top. I especially enjoyed the tomato beef bone broth so the premium wagyu selections, marinated lamb chop, Manila clams, nigiri station, cold seafood dishes and lobster tails. The reviews and social media hype do not lie. They even have a fruit bar and dessert station if you're not full from everything else that is beyond ordinary. The lasting impression? "It'll be hard for us to go to any other Las Vegas buffet or AYCE BBQ or hot pot after this experience at The X Pot. The service and food quality are unmatched!"

Spring break in Vegas and I got completely blown away by The X Pot--this is EXACTLY the kind of happiness you come to Vegas for No need to compromise on anyone else's taste, no waiting on anyone else's pace. Unlimited caviar, fresh live Hokkaido seafood, and every kind of crab you can imagine--from king crab to hairy crab. They even have staff presenting different ways to enjoy caviar right at your table--full-on luxury experience. Steaks and crabs are also served tableside, so even dining solo feels incredibly premium And somehow, I even ran into Shin Lim! I saw his magic show before, and at the final moment he literally appeared right next to me--this time I got to see him up close again. Double happiness! Eating here = luxury buffet + celebrity sighting. Totally worth it‼ Worried about not eating enough to make it worth it? Not an issue at all. Just go for the premium items--king crab, lobster, wagyu, caviar, abalone, foie gras... you'll easily get your money's worth without wasting a single dollar Chubby Group really knows what they're doing--turning a buffet into a top-tier dining experience. The ambiance is stunning, and the quality of ingredients is next level If you're in Vegas, skipping this would honestly be a regret!:

Service Very attentive service. You feel like there is help all around. Although there was a small language with our server she was the nicest sweetest person. Ambiance very very nice restaurant. Feels very high class. Tables could be bigger but they work. Food 5 stars this is very very high end. The food is so so good. Lobster crab the beef the sides the everything is too quality top notch. Make sure you try everything because it is all delicious. Don't forget to dip your beef in the sauces so delicious. I can recommend this place enough for 4 of us with 3 cocktails put us over $700 including tip. If you want a great vegas food experience go here!!!!

The X Pot Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The X Pot

Is this in a casino/hotel?

Yes! The Venetian on the second floor, close to palazzo side :)

How much per person?

$169 per person, unless if you are a Cubby Cattle member and you will get $20 off

Hi there. Can i ask the kids under 2 can come in to the restaurant or not?

Yes. We had 3 kids, ranging from 2 to 8

Hello, we were there in July and there was 2 ayce options? One with the seafood and one without. This was perfect as my family dosent eat seafood. Is the non seafood ayce option still available Aug 1st?

Yes. I believe so.

Are there kids pricing?

There's no kid or senior pricing.

Hello, We have a party of 2 people. Ordering 2 tasting menus seems too much and I don't think we can finish it. Can we order 1 tasting menu and some signature plates?

Yes, you can order pots and meats separately

Is golden cow included in chef's tasting menu? If not what is the name of it on the menu?

It is not included. But I can't remember the name of it but your waiter will explain everything to you. Also a good thing to keep in mind is that if you go with a group, don't all get the tasting menu. Just share!! It's a ton of food if you do add…

Is this worth the price if you're pescatarian?

No. I think their specialty is beef. But the lobster broth option is a nice try tho

Is the Wagyu Feast part of the Chef Tasting Menu: Mini Individual Pot? Or an additional cost? Thanks!

Is it kid friendly let's say a ten year old friendly?

Yes.

Where is your location ? Do we have to make reservations?

Yes, you have to make reservations. It is located at the Venetian on the second floor.

What is the difference between individual and shared? is it the size?

I believe so. For the individual, you get the pot to yourself. It's right in front of you so you can choose your broth and what to cook in it. The sharing one is just a big pot in the middle for you and whoever you're there with. Harder to customize…

How does the setup work for a party of 7? Is it two tables tables next to each other or will the party be separated, unable to talk amongst the whole group?

Two tables next to each other!

Is this family friendly we have a 1 year old?

Of course not. Anyone that brings children to the Las Vegas strip already does not have morals or values for their children.

What is the best way to order? Wife and i going for the first time. Is the wagyu feast worth it? Or do we do the the chef tasting menu?

They're both great options!

Does the $25 deposit for reservations go towards our food bill or is it a separate thing just to place a reservation?

It goes towards your food bill.

Is there kids discount for 5 and under? You don't expect 5 and under to eat as much as adult, do you?

When I was there last month (2023), I did not see a child's menu. I've noticed most eateries in Las Vegas Casinos/Resorts do not cater to children. :-(

What time is happy hour and where can I find the happy hour menu?

There is no HH.

I'm planning to take my husband here on his bday this Thursday, we don't eat much but he loves hot pot? Any suggestion of what to get and hm it's actually cost? Been reading some good review. Hope to get some answer soon. Need to reserve the table 😊

its not cheap but its worth it. We're big eaters and we did the Wagyu feast, crab legs, and lobster and all 4 signature plates. It was far too much food for 4 people. I would recommend the Wagyu feast, 2 signature plates. One of the best hot pot…

Is sliced shabu beef meat for wholesale carry out by the pound?

No.

At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

Checked out of the hotel and wanted to get a drink at the bar to kill some time before my flight…read more The bar has plenty of seating at the bar and around the area. I opted for a comfier lounge chair next to the bar and checked out the menu on the table. When I was ready to order, I went up to the bar. Which, if you've been to bars in general, they happily take your order and you wait and bring the drinks back to your seat. Well not at Vesper. Went up ready to order and the bartender asked where we were seated and said a waitress would come by and that we couldn't order with him. We sat, we waited 15-20 mins and no one came around. We waited long enough and decided it wasn't worth our money. If trying to get an order in was this difficult, can't imagine what the rest of the service is like.

I arrived to the vesper bar and found a nice couch next to the bar…read more The atmosphere is nice and the bar looks very appealing. I sat for around 15 minutes waiting for service and then walked up to the bar instead to order drinks. He rejected my offer and said the waitress would take my order and to return back to my seat. The waitress has not come around. she has been standing in the corner looking at nothing for the past 20 minutes.
