As a big seafood fan, I was especially excited for the crab, lobster, oysters, and other shellfish, and The X Pot certainly delivered. There was an incredible selection of both cooked seafood and fresh seafood that you could steam right at your table. The premium wagyu beef just kept coming for the hot pot, along with delicious dim sum and a variety of other side dishes. Everything was so good that I honestly wished I had two stomachs to enjoy it all! The restaurant's darker, elegant ambiance created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. Came here to try the AYCE option, and it's definitely worth it if you're part of the Chubby Cattle Club and love seafood. They have a lot of fresh options, from lobster and clams to an assortment of sashimi and even Wagyu sashimi. You can either steam the seafood at your table or cook it in your hot pot broth. During certain hours, they also offer caviar. The line for it was pretty long! They have someone serving the caviar for you, which was a nice touch. They also have carts being pushed around with additional food options, such as cooked lobster, steamed egg, dumplings, and more. The lobster from the cart was a little too dry for me, but I really liked the sticky rice dumpling. Service was good overall. For the price, extremely overrated. First off, it was not the service, it was great and constant attention is given to you but for the price point, the quality, taste and the overall meal was subpar. If you dont pay for the premium unlimited, you get stuck with meat that are "A5" but taste nothing better than a standard AYCE hotpot place. Heck, honestly, I have had meats without the "A5 Certification" with better marbling and taste. This place is overrated and the although the seafood was fresh their sushi rice was horrible. It was hard, flavorless and honestly should just be sashimi. Additionally, the desserts were cold, and felt store bought. For the price point, just another overrated Vegas buffet. This is definitely one of the top luxury all you can eat items in Las Vegas. It's the the point where the sushi nigiri is the appetizer. Then you can eat all the shellfish and Wagyu that you want however you want. Whether you eat them straight from the seafood bar or dip them in the hot pot of your choice. It definitely may seem overwhelming if you never been to an AYCE with this many high end items. The simplest thing I'd suggest is try anything new or at least get your monies worth. Also get it while you can because they may or may not replenish the area as fast. They had limited sushi when I first went up there, but I also didn't really come here for that. The main thing that we ate was the lobsters tails and crab which easily gets your monies worth. I personally saved the Wagyu a little for last as I know that the fattier meat would get me full faster, but it was really good. The caviar bar is a first for me so if you get the chance, try to go there when they're open and don't have a huge line. We wanted to try the dumpling cart that would roll around, but they didn't come near our area so that's a loss on our end. We also didn't the upcharge for the crab with the caviar. If you're feeling fancy, I'd say go ahead and do it. It's really good, but if I were to come here again, I'd opt out of it. If you come here on a weekday, the prices will be better than weekend. It is also cheaper if you have a membership which is mainly beneficial if you eat at a bunch of Chubby group restaurants. Overall this is a really high end AYCE restaurant where your main benefit is to eat as much crab, lobster and wagyu as you can handle. They also serve some good sake as well. We had a party of 7, and the steamer took quite a while to arrive, which made the overall dining experience feel slower than it should have been. A few hiccups along the way. One of the soup bases was a little too rich for us and they didn't let her swap it out. The service was decent, but I wasn't a fan of the way the service charge/gratuity was handled. If an automatic gratuity is going to be calculated, it should be based on the pre-tax amount rather than being applied after taxes. What a delightful experience. Top line dining experience. MAKE A RESERVATION All you can eat seafood and steak in a Hot Pot setting. Restaurant is well turned out and staff are spot on with service. Steven D was an outstanding waiter and Jamie working as supervisor/floor manager was most welcoming and kind to answer questions for a first time diner. Menu allows you to start with a selection of crispy items such as shrimp tempura, black truffle fries, lobster croquettes, chicken Karaage,and/or chicken wings. I skipped all of that to concentrate on the good stuff. They will start you off by asking what hot pot broth you wish to cook in. Choices are chicken, creamy lobster, tom yum, tomato beef bone, or mushroom chicken. I took the recommendation of Steven and went with Tom Yum (spicy). Cold bar has a selection of both pre-cooked and raw items you can steam/cook in the broth at your table. Raw items included razor clams, oysters, scallops, etc Pre-cooked included large shrimp, lobster tails and crab legs. There is also a selection of seafood salads and such. There is a table of fresh Nigri and beef tartar sushi as well. You will get a selection of Wagyu Chuck Ribeye and Short Rib. For a small up charge you can get unlimited access to a selection of other Wagyu cuts. To go along with all this, you receive a vegetable and mushroom combo you can cook in your broth at the table. For those caviar connoisseurs, for another up charge you can get after it with those items as well. Staff will also bring around a curated cart of food items such as steak skewers and specialty shrimp. All were very good. For dessert you have a selection of fresh fruit as well as cheesecake bites, cream puffs, macarons and crème pies as well as what appeared to be a green tea cake or something along those lines. I've lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years, and I had only heard about this place last week. It's probably because I rarely go to the Strip. This place is incredible! If I could afford it, I'd come back every weekend. It's that good. First, it's located at the Palazzo, so parking was easy. I made a same-day reservation, and we were seated almost immediately when we arrived. Now let's talk about the food... OMG! Everything was amazing. They offer unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters, sushi, dim sum, and Wagyu. Seriously, what could be better than that? Our server, RJ, was fantastic. He was attentive throughout the entire meal and made sure we always had everything we needed. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but in my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. The only thing that didn't impress me was the dessert selection, but honestly, by then I was so full I couldn't have eaten another bite anyway. Came here on a Thursday night for a party or 5. The reservation system only had 5:30pm available when I tried making same day reservation. However, one of our friend's flight got delayed and the staff were very accommodating to let us change our reservation to 7pm. X Pot is inside the Palazzo. It is definitely one of the most luxurious hot pot experiences you will experience and the quality of the ingredients really justifies the premium price. The standout for me was the chicken broth as it was incredibly rich, flavorful, and comforting on its own. I honestly couldn't stop drinking it. The seafood and meats were all premium quality, especially the lobster and giant oysters, which were exceptionally fresh. I also loved that the staff steamed certain seafood tableside while recommending others to be cooked in the broth. The only complaint is I wish they would crack the crab shells in advanced as it will make eating it much easier. It got too messy and tiresome so I didn't bother eating much of it. The sushi and sashimi were also fresh, and the staff continuously brought out food, so we never found ourselves waiting for the next round. They also have a table side experience where a staff walks around with a cart, kind of like dim sum-style, offering small bites for guests to sample. While it's a fun concept, I'd actually recommend being selective. The shrimp dumplings had skins that were much too thick, and the xiao long bao were disappointing since they had little to no soup inside. The sticky rice siu mai was tasty, and the wagyu tart was surprisingly good with a very flaky crust, but these items are quite filling. Considering the price of the meal, I'd save my stomach for the premium seafood and meats, which are truly the stars of the experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly, patient and attentive. She was always around to attend our needs but never too disturbing. Overall, X Pot delivers an impressive all-you-can-eat hot pot experience with excellent service, outstanding broth, and top-quality ingredients. I had some mixed emotions with this place especially when you are paying over $140pp; including a 12 year old kid. Drinks are not included; not even soda, everything is extra. The broth and meat were good; but warning not to eat too much Wagyu cause you'll feel nauseous from all the fat. The appetizer bar was underwhelming, not much selection. They have appetizers you can order but they don't really offer it or make it known, so we didn't really know to ask about it til we were already full. The dessert station was minimal as well. Finally tried XPOT this past weekend when we were in Vegas. It's been on my bucket list for over a year now. The new buffet style is great. One thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't have a sauce bar to make your own sauce(s). I did not like the two sauces they provided. One was a regular soy sauce and the other was a sesame sauce. It's way too basic for restaurant that is this high end. I wished they had ponzu, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, cilantro, mushroom sauce, satay and etc. A sauce bar would have made my experience so much better. Service rating: I want to give a shout out to Ryan who was our server. He was very attentive and was always a step a head of all our requests. For example: one of the people in our group kept dropping his chopsticks on accident, Ryan would have a spare ready . Ryan took care of us to a T, and did his best to make sure we tried as many of the things they offered on their menu as possible, so that we could make the most of our experience. Came back to X Pot 2.0 after four years. The value has greatly increased with new AYCE model. I believe this was the first elevated hot pot experience in the US. Shortly after, chubby group expanded to more locations across the US and made wagyu more accessible. As someone that has been to Mikiya, Yumiyaki, Chubby Cattle BBQ, Chubby Mart, Wagyu Factory, Wagyu House, and other chubby group restaurants, I can say that X Pot 2.0 quality here far exceeded expectations. Sushi's usually taste stale at other ayce restaurants but the one heres taste fresh. The seafood is fresh as well, especially when steamed (huge plus). The caviar service and desserts are really good. I believe the overall quality, service, and food are much better than any buffets on the strip. I expected more rich flavor of the soup broth but everything was mediocre. There were tiny flies throughout the restaurant and at the buffet area. This was disgusting. He took care of our group and made sure we knew how to cook our food etc. The caviar bar was terrible because it created a line in a restaurant that didn't have space. I came here with my best friend for Galentines Day, which coincided with Lunar New Year. We ordered the Tasting Menu and I got the Oxtail Tomato Soup. (SO GOOD). Everything was presented as you would expect for a nice Vegas restaurant: with showmanship! The signature feast combo came with a dry ice fog, and some other tables ordered some items that required flames a few feet high. Service is amazing. The staff are so nice and informative, and showed us a way to get a few bucks off with a Chubby Club membership. We used the rewards at another one of their restaurants on the SF Peninsula. Also, we got a horse plushie for the new year! We ate to our hearts content and got a couple drinks. I couldn't look at wagyu for a few days after that... not that I look at it very often at all. Offering unlimited Kizami wasabi is a nice touch. X Pot is worth the premium dining experience for hosting, a date night, or the 1 meal you should always default to every Vegas trip. I love me an experience at a Chubby Group restaurant. My girlfriend and I were in town for EDC, and it so happens to land during our anniversary so we decided to have dinner at The X Pot. We placed a reservation in and were checked in by the wonderful host staff. We were seated and greeted with a happy anniversary card on our table, which was a delight. Due to the high volume, we were told the price was the weekend pricing, we did not mind as this actually opened up the caviar bar which is typically only available in weekends. The soup bases we chose were Creamy Lobster and Chicken, both great but didn't stand out. The meat quality is where this place stands out. Each cut of wagyu was a great experience and pair wonderfully with our soups. The unlimited seafood was also delicious, the crab and lobster tails are extremely high quality we came for multiple rounds. The caviar bar was also amazing, we have never had caviar and this made us want even more! One thing that was a little disappointing was the table side dishes didn't quite make it to our table as much as we had hoped they would. I figured maybe they go toward different areas of the restaurant and ran out by the time it reached us. Not a big deal but it would've been nice to see a few more options. The new concept is great and a perfect fit for the Chubby Rewards Member franchise. Massive Chubby Group fan here, can't you tell?! The restaurant is incredibly spacious, but it is very popular so definitely make a reservation in advance. The food consists of premium sushi, fresh cooked seafood, and a combined steamed seafood and Wagyu hotpot. (Fun fact: The hotpot style used here is inspired by traditional Chengdu-style hotpot, but Xpot has completely modernized it into a high-end luxury experience!) What's also neat is that your meal comes with a roaming dim sum cart packed with premium appetizers. The lobster soup dumplings are a absolute must-try! They also feature Wagyu steak sirloins, mini Wagyu burgers, shrimp pan-fried dumplings, and sesame balls rolled out on carts two at a time. For the sushi portion, the creativity and freshness are exceptional. They offer a great selection of sashimi and nigiri served with real, fresh wasabi on the side. I stuffed myself on the Wagyu nigiri topped with uni, the fresh salmon, and the bluefin tuna nigiris. If you're lucky, the sweet ama ebi (sweet shrimp) will make an appearance during your meal too, as different selections come out throughout the evening. The cooked seafood section is a luxury lover's dream, featuring crab legs, giant cocktail shrimp, clams, and unlimited LOBSTER TAILS with hot butter. (Pro-tip: Use the kitchen shears located right at your table to easily crack open the tails. Lobster it up! I claw you not. ) Once you feel like it, you grab raw seafood from the bar, like whole crabs, oysters, and clams, and bring it back to your table to steam on a specialized tray directly over your boiling hotpot broth. So I saw an ad on Instagram introducing The UNLIMITED EXPERIENCE at XPOT $128 for non members and $98 for members. There's also a premium option for the high rollers! I went on Yelp to make sure they had HIGH RATINGS to see if it's worth it or not... SERVICE: A+ Excellent! Thank you Ryan!! Wanted to give 3 stars but, the SERVICE saved the day. It was the first thing we noticed. Everyone greeted us upon entry. We were also the FIRST CUSTOMERS to arrive at 5pm. Ryan gave us a nice tour of the buffet, also helped cook some items for us and explained that we had the option to cook the raw seafood in a steam pot or into the hotpot... OYSTERS: 10/10 I love oysters!! I took 2 at a time. I got a total of 4 oysters but looks like they ran out within 1 hour to 1 and a half hour. I waited a couple minutes but, it still wasn't refilled yet so JUST BE AWARE that it takes a while to refill the oysters! RAZOR CLAMS: Very disappointing!! No where in sight. My server said it won't be ready for at least 3 hours and there's a 2 hour time limit so we are paying $128 for a missing item in a buffet :( VERY Disappointed we could have paid for another buffet like the WYNN BUFFET for example for $80 and they would have every item out!!!! LOBSTER TAIL: 10/10 Highly recommend cooking this in the Hotpot! It stays nice and tender and the hotpot broth gives it more flavor. I would stay away from the cooked lobster bc it's too cold and chewy... CRAB LEGS: At the cold section was very good but, be careful I actually got one piece that had BLACK coloring on the crab legs and inside. I should have taken a picture but, I was too hungry and forgiving. Just take CAUTION ... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Yes the ambiance is TOP NOTCH! High end and modern luxury designs throughout the entire facility. I heard the mortgage or lease was $100,000 a month!?!?! There's a nice photo opportunity in the front with the golden dragon on the wall decor at the entrance... NO CAVIAR? I saw an influencer on Instagram promoting the caviar with Chinese donuts. I wonder where that was?!?!?!? OVERALL: Was it worth it? If you love seafood and you have the time and patience to cook some seafood. They also have a nice selection of sushi with SWEET SHRIMP. The 2 star rating is purely based off the cost ($138/pp) in relation to the "buffet". The sushi options were constantly empty. They'd bring out a platter of sashimi and nigiri and it would be gone with 2-3 people. The cold/salad options on the left side were sad and not really being touched by diners. Suggestion to make that the area for the sushi and sashimi!? The caviar station was closed for a chunk of our dining experience That being said, the table service, servers, and staff were amazing. I had high expectations of the newly revamped X Pot 2.0 but sadly they failed to deliver. The atmosphere was modern and sleek but that was about the only good thing. There were several big issues which failed to be fixed by staff/management. Firstly: the food stations were frequently empty. These stations should constantly be refilled. Of course things occasionally get emptied out but when you see the same things still going unrefreshed after SEVERAL visits this is a problem. This should never happen at a supposedly high-end restaurant. This was a problem with the sushi/sashimi, fruit AND dessert stations. Things were also incorrectly labeled. While I don't have food allergies this could be a problem for guests with sensitivities. It's even worse when you see kitchen staff talking and joking with each other. Another huge issue were the cooked food carts. Only two carts ever stopped by my table and this was AFTER addressing this with staff. And it's not like they were only skipping my table. They just completely failed to release a good variety of dishes. I even chatted with the table next to mine and they had the same complaint. This is not right. My server was very polite and helpful when she was around but she seemed to have a big section and wasn't able to be as attentive as she would have liked to. Many forgotten refills, items, etc. (Didn't just happen once.) I stay at the Venetian frequently but find it hard to want to return here when there are so many truly exceptional places in the Venetian/Palazzo complex let alone the city! Came here for a quick happy hour stop before beginning the evening and this place did not disappoint! We did not do the dinner due to time constraints but we did hang out in the bar and lounge - that definitely makes me want to come back to try the dining experience! The vibes are dark and futuristic. My group came to celebrate a birthday and it was so nice of the staff to provide us with a free round of shot (which were delicious by the way). We ended up getting almost every item on the bar and lounge menu (not pictured: chicken karaage which was my favorite!!!) We came at business open on Sunday and they were having a BOGO special for drinks which was a surprise to us so we had 5 people enjoy all appetizers and 2 drinks per person which came out to about $50 each. So it was a luxury experience that was also affordable for a quick happy hour pit stop before heading out for a night out on the town! I definitely will be coming back to try out the dining experience as I have heard amazing things about it! Also - the In Your Dreams was such a good cocktail that for round 2 our entire table just ordered that. Would absolutely recommend that cocktail!!! Man, this place was great for the price! It kept popping up on our socials, and since we were in Vegas for a business trip, we decided to check it out. The hot pot could've been a little more flavorful, but overall the seafood was really good. The only thing that was a little off was the shrimp--it tasted slightly fishy. Our experience after 2 years at the new xpot was above anything we could conceptualize. It was great to get seated immediately and greeted by our attentive and friendly waiter Ryan H. The entire time was filled with selection recommendations and a full walkthrough of how the AYCE works. It can get a little overwhelming with the amount of food being offered but we did not feel rushed. The seafood buffet was comprised of both raw cuts and precooked lobster . The precooked seafood was slightly overcooked but great foods to dip into your hotpot. There is a full sushi bar with sashimi (standard fare of tuna, salmon and yellowtail) and nigiri. We were offered multiple cuts of meat including waygu, brisket, and tongue. The hot pot broths were tasty (I got the creamy lobster). Additionally if you go there for dinner, unlimited caviar bar is served! There is a dessert bar as well. Overall a great amount of food and the service was fantastic! Had an early dinner at XPot, and everything I had seen in the reviews was absolutely on point! We were lucky enough to get a private room for our party of 12, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed the hot pot, and I loved that we also had the option to steam our seafood. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and tasted amazing. The quality of the food was truly top tier! I also want to give a special shoutout to RJ, who was an amazing host. He made sure we had everything we needed, consistently checked in on us to make sure everything was good, and truly went out of his way to make sure our experience was perfect. We had a great experience here. The food is awesome! We got lots of king crab, wagyu, lobster rolls. I'm amazed by the wagyu nigiri with caviar /truffle. Imagine what you get with this price in a restaurant in LA, SF, Seattle, etc. Ryan is our server and I had the best service here. He's very attentive, thoughtful! Oh my god, the most delicious hot pot with all the best seafood. The service was excellenttttttt. Be careful, a coke is $6 and there are no free refills. The ambiance is upscale and fun. Thankfully we had the chubby membership! We had the crab, lobster, waygu everything. It was so good, I would do again tomorrow!!! read more
