The X Pot was an amazing experience from start to finish! Everything we tried was incredibly delicious, but the beef was the highlight. It was high quality, flavorful, and practically melted in my mouth. A special shoutout to our waitress, KC, who provided excellent service and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere, presentation, food, and service all made this feel like much more than a typical hot pot dinner. I highly recommend The X Pot, as well as anything in the Chubby Group family of restaurants!

Came here to try the AYCE option, and it's definitely worth it if you're part of the Chubby Cattle Club and love seafood. They have a lot of fresh options, from lobster and clams to an assortment of sashimi and even Wagyu sashimi. You can either steam the seafood at your table or cook it in your hot pot broth. During certain hours, they also offer caviar. The line for it was pretty long! They have someone serving the caviar for you, which was a nice touch. They also have carts being pushed around with additional food options, such as cooked lobster, steamed egg, dumplings, and more. The lobster from the cart was a little too dry for me, but I really liked the sticky rice dumpling. Service was good overall. Our orders came out quickly, and they cleared our table pretty fast as well. The staff was attentive throughout our meal. Overall, it was a nice experience. I'm not sure if I would return only because I don't eat much seafood, but if you're a seafood lover, I think this AYCE option is definitely worth trying!

Great fish and meat nigiri, horrid sushi rice. Hard, flavorless and honestly should have never been there.

For the price, extremely overrated. First off, it was not the service, it was great and constant attention is given to you but for the price point, the quality, taste and the overall meal was subpar. If you dont pay for the premium unlimited, you get stuck with meat that are "A5" but taste nothing better than a standard AYCE hotpot place. Heck, honestly, I have had meats without the "A5 Certification" with better marbling and taste. This place is overrated and the although the seafood was fresh their sushi rice was horrible. It was hard, flavorless and honestly should just be sashimi. Additionally, the desserts were cold, and felt store bought. For the price point, just another overrated Vegas buffet. There are far superior places off-strip. Avoid this Vegas Strip Buffet trap. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place but I found nothing but awful food for a $130/per person price point. A nice "redeeming bonus" is the caviar station which we sat in front of. 4.5/5 For service (they failed to ask me how my meal was and for feedback at the end, almost all restaurants at this price point has asked me that one simple question) 2/5 For food (based on the price you pay, you should expect top quality food) 1/5 For Dessert (Awful selection, cold and felt almost store bought) 4.5/5 For Atmosphere (no real complaint, just a bit dark)

This is definitely one of the top luxury all you can eat items in Las Vegas. It's the the point where the sushi nigiri is the appetizer. Then you can eat all the shellfish and Wagyu that you want however you want. Whether you eat them straight from the seafood bar or dip them in the hot pot of your choice. It definitely may seem overwhelming if you never been to an AYCE with this many high end items. The simplest thing I'd suggest is try anything new or at least get your monies worth. Also get it while you can because they may or may not replenish the area as fast. They had limited sushi when I first went up there, but I also didn't really come here for that. The main thing that we ate was the lobsters tails and crab which easily gets your monies worth. I personally saved the Wagyu a little for last as I know that the fattier meat would get me full faster, but it was really good. The caviar bar is a first for me so if you get the chance, try to go there when they're open and don't have a huge line. We wanted to try the dumpling cart that would roll around, but they didn't come near our area so that's a loss on our end. We also didn't the upcharge for the crab with the caviar. If you're feeling fancy, I'd say go ahead and do it. It's really good, but if I were to come here again, I'd opt out of it. If you come here on a weekday, the prices will be better than weekend. It is also cheaper if you have a membership which is mainly beneficial if you eat at a bunch of Chubby group restaurants. Overall this is a really high end AYCE restaurant where your main benefit is to eat as much crab, lobster and wagyu as you can handle. They also serve some good sake as well. Reservation is a must, but you can also chill at the bar next door to them if you want to order some of the food and/or wait until you're seated.

Had a nice dinner with my friends here and it was great! Their ayce menu was so good! So many seafood options! Our waitstaff was awesome! Was there to help with anything we needed or questions we had. There was so much meats on our table! And we was able to grab as much seafood as we want! So many lobster tails and clams! And on top of all this, there was ayce amazing nigiri! At 6pm they serve all you can eat cavier as well! Recommended if you're in Vegas and wanted some hot pot with great cuts of meats and fresh seafood!

The food was massive!!!! I wish I could eat more!! This was my first time here!! It was my friend's Bday Dinner!! I mentioned at the online reservation! So they prep with little Happy Birthday Stand. It was cute. and gave us shots later. I am a member of chubby club. so took the benefit of member price! AYCE Hotpot Beef and Steaming Seafood, Ready to eat Seafood, sashimi, nigiri. Fruit, dessert..and DimSum. I recommend to chose Steaming Seafood over Ready to eat. Ready to eat crab was tasty. but the lobster was hard. dessert selection was also good and had variety!! Frequently the server and DimSum server came to check...Good customer service overall!!

Our experience at X Pot at The Palazzo was okay, but honestly, I expected more. We had a party of 7, and the steamer took quite a while to arrive, which made the overall dining experience feel slower than it should have been. A few hiccups along the way. One of the soup bases was a little too rich for us and they didn't let her swap it out. The service was decent, but I wasn't a fan of the way the service charge/gratuity was handled. If an automatic gratuity is going to be calculated, it should be based on the pre-tax amount rather than being applied after taxes. Overall, the food and experience were fine, but for the price and the level of service, I expected a little more. I'd probably consider other options on the Strip before returning.

Absolutely loved my experience at The X Pot! The food was fresh and high quality, especially the meat, and everything was beautifully presented. The hot pot broth was flavorful, and the whole dining experience felt fun and special. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was modern and luxurious. It's a great place for dinner with friends or for celebrating a special occasion. Definitely one of my favorite hot pot experiences. I would happily come back again!

What a delightful experience. Top line dining experience. MAKE A RESERVATION All you can eat seafood and steak in a Hot Pot setting. Restaurant is well turned out and staff are spot on with service. Steven D was an outstanding waiter and Jamie working as supervisor/floor manager was most welcoming and kind to answer questions for a first time diner. Menu allows you to start with a selection of crispy items such as shrimp tempura, black truffle fries, lobster croquettes, chicken Karaage,and/or chicken wings. I skipped all of that to concentrate on the good stuff. They will start you off by asking what hot pot broth you wish to cook in. Choices are chicken, creamy lobster, tom yum, tomato beef bone, or mushroom chicken. I took the recommendation of Steven and went with Tom Yum (spicy). Cold bar has a selection of both pre-cooked and raw items you can steam/cook in the broth at your table. Raw items included razor clams, oysters, scallops, etc Pre-cooked included large shrimp, lobster tails and crab legs. There is also a selection of seafood salads and such. There is a table of fresh Nigri and beef tartar sushi as well. You will get a selection of Wagyu Chuck Ribeye and Short Rib. For a small up charge you can get unlimited access to a selection of other Wagyu cuts. To go along with all this, you receive a vegetable and mushroom combo you can cook in your broth at the table. For those caviar connoisseurs, for another up charge you can get after it with those items as well. Staff will also bring around a curated cart of food items such as steak skewers and specialty shrimp. All were very good. For dessert you have a selection of fresh fruit as well as cheesecake bites, cream puffs, macarons and crème pies as well as what appeared to be a green tea cake or something along those lines. If you don't see something or have questions, ask the staff. They are very accommodating. Weekdays buffet is going to cost $128 without drinks or any up charges. Prices go up in the weekends. MAKE A RESERVATION. An extremely fine dining experience and worth the money especially if you love seafood. Enjoy!!

I've lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years, and I had only heard about this place last week. It's probably because I rarely go to the Strip. This place is incredible! If I could afford it, I'd come back every weekend. It's that good. First, it's located at the Palazzo, so parking was easy. I made a same-day reservation, and we were seated almost immediately when we arrived. Now let's talk about the food... OMG! Everything was amazing. They offer unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters, sushi, dim sum, and Wagyu. Seriously, what could be better than that? Our server, RJ, was fantastic. He was attentive throughout the entire meal and made sure we always had everything we needed. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but in my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. The only thing that didn't impress me was the dessert selection, but honestly, by then I was so full I couldn't have eaten another bite anyway. Whether you're visiting Las Vegas or you're a local, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's definitely an experience worth having.

Came here on a Thursday night for a party or 5. The reservation system only had 5:30pm available when I tried making same day reservation. However, one of our friend's flight got delayed and the staff were very accommodating to let us change our reservation to 7pm. X Pot is inside the Palazzo. It is definitely one of the most luxurious hot pot experiences you will experience and the quality of the ingredients really justifies the premium price. The standout for me was the chicken broth as it was incredibly rich, flavorful, and comforting on its own. I honestly couldn't stop drinking it. The seafood and meats were all premium quality, especially the lobster and giant oysters, which were exceptionally fresh. I also loved that the staff steamed certain seafood tableside while recommending others to be cooked in the broth. The only complaint is I wish they would crack the crab shells in advanced as it will make eating it much easier. It got too messy and tiresome so I didn't bother eating much of it. The sushi and sashimi were also fresh, and the staff continuously brought out food, so we never found ourselves waiting for the next round. They also have a table side experience where a staff walks around with a cart, kind of like dim sum-style, offering small bites for guests to sample. While it's a fun concept, I'd actually recommend being selective. The shrimp dumplings had skins that were much too thick, and the xiao long bao were disappointing since they had little to no soup inside. The sticky rice siu mai was tasty, and the wagyu tart was surprisingly good with a very flaky crust, but these items are quite filling. Considering the price of the meal, I'd save my stomach for the premium seafood and meats, which are truly the stars of the experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly, patient and attentive. She was always around to attend our needs but never too disturbing. Overall, X Pot delivers an impressive all-you-can-eat hot pot experience with excellent service, outstanding broth, and top-quality ingredients. Just pace yourself and focus on the premium offerings as you'll get much better value that way.

I had some mixed emotions with this place especially when you are paying over $140pp; including a 12 year old kid. Drinks are not included; not even soda, everything is extra. The broth and meat were good; but warning not to eat too much Wagyu cause you'll feel nauseous from all the fat. The appetizer bar was underwhelming, not much selection. They have appetizers you can order but they don't really offer it or make it known, so we didn't really know to ask about it til we were already full. The dessert station was minimal as well. I would have liked for the server to tell us what they had to offer so we can try everything but seemed we got inconsistent service and for the price we paid, I would have expected exceptional service. We were looking forward to have the razor clams but they were all out; seemed it was a common theme that things were not available. Beware of the 22% service charge at a AYCE place where we did all our own cooking. We likely will not be back, especially with all the other options on AYCE in Vegas, this was not worth it.

The new X Pot is amazing - HIGHLY recommended if you are in Las Vegas, or even making the trip out for it. All the ingredients are so high quality, fresh, and delicious. Definitely 100% worth the price. Interior is beautiful and the service is amazing as well. The standouts are: - Steamed Abalone / Oysters with garlic - eat your money worth here! - All the meats - amazing A5 wagyu that goes perfectly with any broth - Sashimi - surprisingly this was one of the best things. The amaebi and every single piece was so delicious Definitely come here!!!

The X Pot Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The X Pot

    Is this in a casino/hotel?

Yes! The Venetian on the second floor, close to palazzo side :)

    How much per person?

$169 per person, unless if you are a Cubby Cattle member and you will get $20 off

Hi there. Can i ask the kids under 2 can come in to the restaurant or not?

Yes. We had 3 kids, ranging from 2 to 8

Hello, we were there in July and there was 2 ayce options? One with the seafood and one without. This was perfect as my family dosent eat seafood. Is the non seafood ayce option still available Aug 1st?

    Yes. I believe so.

    Are there kids pricing?

There's no kid or senior pricing.

Hello, We have a party of 2 people. Ordering 2 tasting menus seems too much and I don't think we can finish it. Can we order 1 tasting menu and some signature plates?

Yes, you can order pots and meats separately

Is golden cow included in chef's tasting menu? If not what is the name of it on the menu?

It is not included. But I can't remember the name of it but your waiter will explain everything to you. Also a good thing to keep in mind is that if you go with a group, don't all get the tasting menu. Just share!! It's a ton of food if you do add…

Is this worth the price if you're pescatarian?

No. I think their specialty is beef. But the lobster broth option is a nice try tho

Is the Wagyu Feast part of the Chef Tasting Menu: Mini Individual Pot? Or an additional cost? Thanks!

Is it kid friendly let's say a ten year old friendly?

    Yes.

Where is your location ? Do we have to make reservations?

Yes, you have to make reservations. It is located at the Venetian on the second floor.

What is the difference between individual and shared? is it the size?

I believe so. For the individual, you get the pot to yourself. It's right in front of you so you can choose your broth and what to cook in it. The sharing one is just a big pot in the middle for you and whoever you're there with. Harder to customize…

How does the setup work for a party of 7? Is it two tables tables next to each other or will the party be separated, unable to talk amongst the whole group?

Two tables next to each other!

Is this family friendly we have a 1 year old?

Of course not. Anyone that brings children to the Las Vegas strip already does not have morals or values for their children.

What is the best way to order? Wife and i going for the first time. Is the wagyu feast worth it? Or do we do the the chef tasting menu?

    They're both great options!

Does the $25 deposit for reservations go towards our food bill or is it a separate thing just to place a reservation?

It goes towards your food bill.

Is there kids discount for 5 and under? You don't expect 5 and under to eat as much as adult, do you?

When I was there last month (2023), I did not see a child's menu. I've noticed most eateries in Las Vegas Casinos/Resorts do not cater to children. :-(

What time is happy hour and where can I find the happy hour menu?

    There is no HH.

I'm planning to take my husband here on his bday this Thursday, we don't eat much but he loves hot pot? Any suggestion of what to get and hm it's actually cost? Been reading some good review. Hope to get some answer soon. Need to reserve the table 😊

its not cheap but its worth it. We're big eaters and we did the Wagyu feast, crab legs, and lobster and all 4 signature plates. It was far too much food for 4 people. I would recommend the Wagyu feast, 2 signature plates. One of the best hot pot…

It's a small, intimate bar so the crowd control is great. Also, dress is strict but the staff was pretty good at taking a look & letting folks jow whikle they were on line. For Vegas, I'd say the prices were on par.

We had so much fun we went back on Sunday night just expecting good energy and live music. We coincidentally made friends in line and the bouncer asked if we wanted a table that would allow us to cut to the front of the line. Minimum was $500 and there were 5 of us so we said yes. To our surprise Bruno came out again!!! No one ever knows when or if he will be there and we were lucky enough to see him 2 nights in a row, and made friends along the way. It was truly a magical experience, Bruno was the cherry on top but even without him making a suprise performance, Pinky Ring is still such a unique vibe I think everyone who visits Vegas should experience. I have no photos to post, just as intended :) The security was very strict about no photos. We were so impressed how well they caught every person, shining lasers at their camera and spotlighting them then escorting them out. Don't be that person, they will catch you and kick you out and make you delete any photos or videos (even from recently deleted, I asked). Just enjoy the experience with the people around you. No one else has to see photos to believe you, and even if they did they would not fully understand the vibe and experience because they weren't there. If you made it to the end of this review, I hope you make an effort to visit Pinky Ring, you might get lucky!!

All the tables by the window are reservation only but if you walk in, you can sit at the bar which is facing opposite of the view. The drink I had was well balanced and strong, where some bars can water down the cocktails. It was cool that the bartender helping us was the one that made that cocktail! Overall would recommend to stop by if you're staying in the W or Mandalay Bay or anywhere near the south side of the strip

Definitely gives business deal vibes! If I had some deals lined up, I'd close them here for sure. Perfect setting to cheer a huge business deal. It's a bougie spot.. u know, upscale. I realized that when I looked at the menu & realized they had no food.. So, I ask bartender, like.. "where the wings at?" lol.. I'm thinking wings, fries, sliders, calamari.. nope! Every visit, we go the iconic Chandelier Bar, specifically floor 1.5 Not only do we return for the excellent drinks, we go for the service. The Chandelier Bar has many employees who have been at Cosmo since its opening . They are some of the best bartenders & staff on the strip! They also have great management. We recently met Angela , one of the newer managers who is very friendly. She approached us to see how our drinks were, even when it was pretty busy at the bar. The Chandelier bar also refreshes their drink menu a couple of times every now and then while still keeping some of popular drinks on such as the Verbena cocktail, which is nice. They have three floors , and every menu is different than the other. We highly recommend the Espresso Old Fashioned, a combination of two popular drinks. The staff will also make anything to your liking , as long as ingredients allow. It's definitely a can't miss spot if you are staying at Cosmo, or just bar hopping on the strip. The vibe is awesome!! We love the staff and drinks here and can't wait to go back!

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
