I've been a patron of X Pot for as long as they've been open. Their business model has switched from a more curated experience to an AYCE model. Service has never fallen short here, as to be expected with the hefty price tag of dining here. Definitely come on an empty stomach, wagyu becomes overwhelming quickly. My visit in October 2025 was around the start of their AYCE model. Their menu has changed since then leaning heavily into their premium seafood offerings - amazing for seafood fans. Offering unlimited Kizami wasabi is a nice touch. X Pot is worth the premium dining experience for hosting, a date night, or the 1 meal you should always default to every Vegas trip. It has never missed. The only negative I've ever experienced was that their restrooms weren't the most well kept on more than one occasion. We are huge fans of the Chubby Cattle chain, and every location we've visited prior to this never disappoint until today. Starting with the positives, the decor is beautiful, the hotpot soup base is incredibly flavorful, wagyu was on point and the service was great and highly attentive throughout our meal. However, the rest of the food was ultimately underwhelming. All of the pre-cooked seafood arrived overcooked. In fact, the recommended cooking times listed on the table cards for the steamed seafood should be cut in half, and the back kitchen needs to make that same adjustment since the precooked seafood was also overcooked. We selected the hairy crab from the add-on but the meat was unfortunately full of shell fragments. 'Hot' Items from the kitchen tasted as though it had been sitting out or walking around for a while before finally hitting our table. Only the xiao long bao was warm, thank goodness. The hotpot itself lacked vegetable variety, offering only napa cabbage, winter melon, and two types of mushrooms. Salad was overly sauced and desserts were overly sweet with the exception of the egg tart. We love this restaurant group, but given the current execution and the price point here, you are much better off visiting Mikiya instead. read more

Located inside The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort, The X Pot combines this traditional style of cooking with a refined, over-the-top dining experience. The staff was attentive and proactive from start to finish, making our time here seamless and a perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. We went with their Unlimited Live Seafood & Wagyu Tasting Menu, which includes AYCE Japanese A5 Wagyu, live seafood, signature plates, and a limited tasting of premium items like foie gras with caviar, Wagyu tartare, and more. Make sure to have your cameras ready when the latter items are brought over--it's truly dinner and a show. The items are delivered via robot, which adds a fun, high-tech touch to the otherwise refined atmosphere. Of course, everything was delicious, from the stunning seafood platter filled with oysters, scallops, and Boston lobster to the various cuts of rich, buttery A5 Wagyu. The only minor letdown was that they ran out of their blueberry egg tarts from the dessert selection, so we didn't get to try them. I love me an experience at a Chubby Group restaurant. My girlfriend and I were in town for EDC, and it so happens to land during our anniversary so we decided to have dinner at The X Pot. We placed a reservation in and were checked in by the wonderful host staff. We were seated and greeted with a happy anniversary card on our table, which was a delight. Due to the high volume, we were told the price was the weekend pricing, we did not mind as this actually opened up the caviar bar which is typically only available in weekends. The soup bases we chose were Creamy Lobster and Chicken, both great but didn't stand out. The meat quality is where this place stands out. Each cut of wagyu was a great experience and pair wonderfully with our soups. The unlimited seafood was also delicious, the crab and lobster tails are extremely high quality we came for multiple rounds. The caviar bar was also amazing, we have never had caviar and this made us want even more! One thing that was a little disappointing was the table side dishes didn't quite make it to our table as much as we had hoped they would. I figured maybe they go toward different areas of the restaurant and ran out by the time it reached us. Not a big deal but it would've been nice to see a few more options. We first came to the X Pot in Vegas years ago before it transitioned into this incredible all-you-can-eat seafood experience! The new concept is great and a perfect fit for the Chubby Rewards Member franchise. Massive Chubby Group fan here, can't you tell?! The restaurant is incredibly spacious, but it is very popular so definitely make a reservation in advance. The food consists of premium sushi, fresh cooked seafood, and a combined steamed seafood and Wagyu hotpot. (Fun fact: The hotpot style used here is inspired by traditional Chengdu-style hotpot, but Xpot has completely modernized it into a high-end luxury experience!) What's also neat is that your meal comes with a roaming dim sum cart packed with premium appetizers. The lobster soup dumplings are a absolute must-try! They also feature Wagyu steak sirloins, mini Wagyu burgers, shrimp pan-fried dumplings, and sesame balls rolled out on carts two at a time. For the sushi portion, the creativity and freshness are exceptional. They offer a great selection of sashimi and nigiri served with real, fresh wasabi on the side. I stuffed myself on the Wagyu nigiri topped with uni, the fresh salmon, and the bluefin tuna nigiris. If you're lucky, the sweet ama ebi (sweet shrimp) will make an appearance during your meal too, as different selections come out throughout the evening. The cooked seafood section is a luxury lover's dream, featuring crab legs, giant cocktail shrimp, clams, and unlimited LOBSTER TAILS with hot butter. (Pro-tip: Use the kitchen shears located right at your table to easily crack open the tails. Lobster it up! I claw you not. ) Once you feel like it, you grab raw seafood from the bar, like whole crabs, oysters, and clams, and bring it back to your table to steam on a specialized tray directly over your boiling hotpot broth. It's a brilliant, multi-level concept that I've never experienced before. What a unique dining experience! For my hotpot base, I chose the rich and creamy lobster broth to cook the selection of unlimited, beautifully marbled Wagyu beef and fresh veggies. Don't forget to save room for the dessert and pastry table in the center of the room. Alongside fresh fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew), they have macarons, delicious flaky egg tarts, and even a caviar station! Because it's constantly packed, the service isn't always lightning-fast, but the staff is incredibly polite. 2 stars. The seafood quality here was honestly very good, especially the lobster, oysters, shrimp, and crab legs. Everything looked fresh and the presentation was impressive. Our waitress was also awesome throughout the night and definitely deserved 5 stars for her service and attitude. Unfortunately, the front desk experience completely ruined the beginning of our dinner. Our reservation was at 6:00 PM, and the restaurant even texted us at 5:30 PM saying the table was ready. We arrived on time, checked in exactly at 6:00 PM, and then waited. After about 10 minutes, I noticed people who arrived later than us were already being seated. I went back to the front desk to confirm we were actually checked in, and it honestly seemed like they forgot to check us in. Then we waited another 10 minutes while even more couples who came after us got seated first. When I asked the receptionist why people arriving later were going in before us, she told me they had "bigger parties." That made absolutely no sense because some of those groups were the same size as ours. It honestly felt like she just made up an excuse right in front of us. We finally got seated around 6:30 PM, which is unacceptable when we arrived on time for our reservation and even got an early-ready text message. OYSTERS: 10/10 I love oysters!! I took 2 at a time. I got a total of 4 oysters but looks like they ran out within 1 hour to 1 and a half hour. I waited a couple minutes but, it still wasn't refilled yet so JUST BE AWARE that it takes a while to refill the oysters! RAZOR CLAMS: Very disappointing!! No where in sight. 1st time - 5 star 2nd time - 2.5 stars Our frustrations with our 2nd trip was that it was this Thursday (EDC) weekend. First we had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation. Second, to get our meat, broth, and check took far too long. Our total dining time was a little over 2 hours... lastly, they charged us "weekend price" because it's EDC weekend, despite it being a Thursday. No other great restaurants that we went to are doing that (Don's Prime, Wing Lei, SW Steakhouse, Din Tai Fung...) When we ordered our 2nd order of meats, it took 20 MINUTES! to deliver. By the time that came out, we were losing our appetite and patience. If they couldn't handle the volume of guests they had, they need better management or something else to help fix whatever caused issues. Having visited Mikiya and being part of the Chubby Club Plus, we decided to give X Pot a try. Definitely make a reservation which is easily done on their website. It's a bit tricky to find tucked away in the Grand Canal Shoppes and a bit far from the parking garage, so allow some time for walking. The interior definitely has a "luxe" feeling with dark woods and dim lighting and definitely an overall upscale feeling. There is not a ton of privacy, though, as most of the tables are quite open. We sat right next to a large and loud party, so we did not have much privacy. Service was excellent! Our server was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I will say, however, that some items such as the drinks and a few other items were ordered took quite a long time to arrive resulting in the server apologizing profusely for the delays. They have only one menu which is $169 per person (or $149 per person for Chubby Club Plus members). It includes a variety of options to choose from in terms of appetizers, soup bases, meats, vegetables, and side dishes. Just about everything is unlimited including the Wagyu beef with only a few exceptions such as the appetizer signature feast combo and the red lobster sashimi. The beverage and cocktail menu is on a tablet. Chubby Club Plus members receive $2 off per cocktail with no limits. I had the "Good Run" cocktail which features an elaborate presentation (see photo) and a small Hennessy gift (a decorative fan). It was well balanced and delicious! However, I preferred my second cocktail ("Once Upon a Time") which had a slightly fruitier flavor and was also delicious and well balanced. We had the signature feast combo to start which has several small bites containing elite ingredients such as foie gras and caviar and Wagyu tartare. My favorite of this grouping was the Wagyu sashimi, but I am just not a caviar or foie gras fan. Up next we had the crispy pork, the red lobster sashimi, and the mango black pepper Wagyu. I really enjoyed the crispy pork which was deliciously crispy without being greasy. I also really enjoyed the mango Wagyu which featured a lovely tableside presentation (see video) and was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. I was not a big fan of the lobster which seemed to be in some sort of a sauce that was overly sweet. The highlight of the meal is of course the meat which you cook at the table in your choice of soup base (I had the golden chicken - +$8 upgrade). The server recommended the Wagyu ribeye, ribeye cap, and shoulder cuts. She did not steer us wrong! I really like the shoulder which was quite lean, but they were all tender and delicious (and unlimited!). We also tried the Wagyu meatballs and the Wagyu dumplings which you cook at your table. These were both perfectly fine, but I would recommend not filling up on these and instead focusing on the delicious Wagyu beef cuts! They have a few dessert choices (nothing chocolate on the night we visited sadly), and we tried the blueberry egg tart and the egg pudding with ice cream. Desserts are limited to one per person. The egg pudding was delicious. Light and refreshing and perfect after the meal. The egg tart was honestly not too good, and the "blueberry" part just consisted of three blueberries placed on top. Hopefully they can up their dessert game, although I know it's not what they're known for. Overall, this was a very good dining experience and close to five stars except for a few minor points! I do wish they could offer different menu options with perhaps different "tiers" as they do at Mikiya. Despite this, I think we will almost certainly return and dine again! read more

I feel like I've been scammed, and I'm suspicious of their membership system. When I asked about the membership policy at the entrance, I was told that my waitress would assist me; however, once I was seated, she informed me that the single-store membership plan was not applicable at this specific location. The service is absolute disappointing. I was seated right in the middle, yet the service at the table next to me was instantaneous--menus, water, beef--everything arrived in a split second. Practically every single table there had an extra side table, we did not . My waitress steamed the seafood for us, and every pot was overcooked. The last pot was steamed for over 30 minutes. While someone was filling the container with berries--even though he was wearing gloves--I watched how he handled it, and it immediately reminded me of Indian street food... it was absolutely disgusting. He poured the contents in, but then--using his hand with gloves without a single tool--he scraped out the leftovers. A few berries fell onto the countertop, yet instead of discarding them, he simply picked them up and put them right back in. After taking our order, the food came out pretty quickly. I tried the creamy lobster and the tom yum soup base. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food. The wagyu nigiri selection was extensive and of excellent quality. The toro nigiri was also top-notch, and the sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh and naturally sweet. However, timing was an issue. We dined at 7:30 PM, but the sweet shrimp didn't become available until about 30 minutes later, and the toro nigiri took nearly 90 minutes. We almost missed it entirely. For the cold seafood, the snow crab legs were impressively large and meaty, but unfortunately overboiled to the point where their natural sweetness was lost. The lobster tail had good seasoning and a noticeable lobster flavor, but it was overcooked--the meat stuck to the shell and lost its tenderness. In the steamed seafood section, the garlic seasoning was a bit too salty and overpowered the natural sweetness of the seafood. The oysters were large, fresh, and sweet, which was great. However, the jumbo clams were too tough to bite through, and the razor clams were also overcooked--5 minutes was too long; 4 minutes would likely be better. The lobster tail (steamed version) had a nice texture but lacked flavor, while the lobster claws were excellent--sweet, bouncy, and very enjoyable. As for the soup bases, the chicken broth was rich and flavorful, pairing perfectly with beef. The lobster broth also had a distinct lobster flavor. The one-time limited wagyu serving was outstanding. The ribeye melted in the mouth, and the short rib was very tender. The A5 brisket and wagyu tongue were also high quality, though the top round and shoulder cuts were a bit too tough. Desserts were well done--the matcha mille crepe had the perfect level of sweetness with a strong matcha flavor, and the Earl Grey roll was equally balanced and fragrant. Service overall was good, but there was some confusion for first-time diners. After the server placed our seafood in the steamer, they had to attend to other tables. We weren't sure about the timing or whether we were supposed to open it ourselves. By the time the server returned, everything was significantly overcooked. It would help if the restaurant provided clearer instructions--whether guests should wait or manage the timing themselves. Something simple like an hourglass timer would make a big difference, especially when staff are busy. Also, the tart selection at the dessert station was disappointing. There were plenty when we arrived, but after about an hour, only one was left, and it was never refilled, while other desserts were consistently restocked. Very disappointing, complete waste of time here. Whole night was a waiting game. Service was extremely slow from start to finish. It took the restaurant 20 minutes to bring the soup base to the table, however the waiting just continues throughout the night. The first plate of beef comes to the table 40 minutes after we order. Yes, you read that correctly, 40 MINUTES. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't even think about trying to put in more orders of beef, because it takes 40+ mins for just a few slices of beef to come out and arrive at your table. Furthermore, it also takes at least 30-40+ minutes for the servers to come around your table for soup broth refills when you're running low. By the time they come around, the soup pot is already dry and burnt.  Our table ordered some beer as well, and it also took at least 30 mins to arrive because apparently the restaurant told us they ran out of beer glasses and the kitchen was busy washing the glasses....ridiculous.  Aside from the hotpot, they also have a few carts running around the restaurant serving small plates of hot dishes. Only had 2 different carts come around to our table. One cart had the Lobster Uni Xiao Long Bao and the other cart had marinated lamb chops. The basket of XLB arrived ice cold and you can't even taste the flavor of the lobster and sea urchin filling. The marinated lamb chops also arrived cold from the cart and the meat was very rubbery, really hard to chew off. In the end, we just decided to leave because the whole night was a waiting game. They also have robots, which adds to the fun experience and makes the place feel a little different from a typical hot pot spot. Located in the Venetian, next to the Grand Canal Shoppes on the top floor, this is one of the most high-end hot pot restaurants we've experienced. They position themselves as a premium spot, featuring Wagyu beef and unlimited seafood such as whole lobster, freshly shucked oysters, and scallops. When they first opened, there was always a long wait and it was extremely crowded. We dined for Saturday lunch, and it was surprisingly quiet. The interior is very dark, but each table has spotlighting, so once you're seated, it doesn't feel dim while dining. The restaurant used to be à la carte, but has now switched to an all-you-can-eat format. They also offer a membership program that provides a discount each time you dine, which is a nice perk if you plan to return. Service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and quick, exactly what you'd expect at this level. The presentation really elevated the experience -- the plate settings and dry ice effects added a dramatic, upscale touch. We tried nearly everything on the menu. Some items are limited to one per guest, and we sampled all of those, skipping only the heavier, more filling dishes. The Black Pepper A5 Wagyu was very flavorful, especially paired with mango cubes and sautéed onions. While it wasn't quite as tender as I expected for A5, it was still a delicious dish. For broth, each person gets to choose one. We tried the Tom Yum and the X Special Spicy (Szechuan-style) broth. The Tom Yum was definitely the standout; flavorful and well-balanced, with traditional Tom Yum ingredients already in the pot. The Szechuan broth wasn't my favorite. Vegetables and additional sides are ordered à la carte from a separate menu. For meats, we mostly stuck to the ribeye and ribeye cap, which were hands down the best Wagyu cuts offered. The Wagyu carpaccio was also excellent!! So good that we ordered it twice. It came with a rich brown sauce and a generous topping of fried scallions. The sauce was slightly heavy, but with a little less, we could've easily ordered another round. The fried wings were large, crispy, juicy, and fried to order. The fried rice was just okay, more of a filler dish, and not something we'd order again. Dessert was chef's choice. We were served ice cream with crystal boba and a clear jelly with beans and other ingredients. Unfortunately, both desserts were fairly bland and not memorable. However, the Black Swan cake was outstanding. It's beautifully crafted, completely edible, soft and flaky on the outside, with a gooey salted egg filling inside. Easily one of the best salted egg desserts we've had. Overall, this was a fantastic hot pot experience and one of our favorites. With the switch to all-you-can-eat, it's absolutely worth the price, and we would definitely return. read more

The X Pot is a top notch experience with fantastic service and high quality meat. This was one of the highlights of my weekend trip in Vegas and I would definitely come back next time I'm in Vegas. I already love hot pot and hot pot normally doesn't need to be this expensive, but I felt like this was worth it especially with a big party. We came with a party of 8 for dinner reservations and got the Unlimited Live Seafood and Wagyu tasting Menu for 169 per person. The restaurant is modern with a lot of space, bar seating and private rooms as well. The tables are equipped with electric stoves for each person. Everyone gets an individual pot and you get to choose from 5 different types of broths. I got the X special spicy and I was happy with the flavor and level of heat (it wasnt too spicy). Our waitress was fantastic as she was so upbeat and helpful. She went ahead and just ordered us everything on the menu so we could try it all. If we liked anything we could just reorder it again. There are a few things like Red Lobster sashimi, Signature plates, and dessert which is limited to one order per guest. You have a 100 minutes to order anything you like before you're cut off. I pretty much enjoyed every thing. The Lobster, oysters, wagyu ribeye, chuck roll, tongue, anything on the menu. Do not worry about trying to figure out what to get as your waiter will be very helpful. Dessert was great too and with a big table we each got a different one so we could all share. 5/5 experience! read more

I've been lucky enough to eat at The X Pot twice now. My mom first took me here in December to celebrate my birthday, and it ended up being such a great experience that we came back again for another celebration. Kacy was our server both times and she was amazing--patient, funny, informative, and very kind. She really made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable for us. She also understands and speaks Cantonese, which was really nice for my mom. The first time I tried the oxtail broth and the second time I tried the lobster broth. Both were delicious and really flavorful. I did learn that it's best to eat the oxtail once the soup is heated rather than leaving it in the broth too long, since the meat can get tough. We tried a lot of different items and loved everything. The ingredients tasted very fresh and the presentation was beautiful--it definitely makes the whole meal feel a little more special. Overall it's been a really fun and memorable dining experience. The food, presentation, and service were all great. We're actually planning to come back again in a couple of days to celebrate my cousin's birthday, and I'm excited to try the golden chicken. read more
