Went in during lunch and no wait since the school district is on spring break this week. The staff is super kind and patient as I was reading over the menu, choices, and then ordering. They are super respectful which I appreciate. Regular poke bowl is $16.50. I got spring salad, salmon, tuna, and yellow tail. Got all the toppings. Delicious!

Since Catholics go pescatarian or fast on Ash Wednesday, we decided to grab a quick bite before going to the celebration of such holiday. The bowl is quite large for a regular, quality products and selection. Quite enjoyed the poke bowl. Some other time I should probably return for their other products, boba tea, musubis and katsu plates. Staff is friendly, place is clean, childish gambino is good music to offer. 5/5 you should come hang here!!!!!!!

3 small protein scoops with the regular for $16.50. Unlimited choices of toppings- imitation crab and avocado included. Base choices of sushi rice, brown rice, spring mix, or crab chips. Can do half and half. Overall, toppings make up for the protein. Ambience is lacking though... dim lighting but no music. Echos of voices remind me of a cafeteria.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Great option for keto. I had the spicy tuna, shrimp and crawfish. Everything was terrific! Will be back!

I've been coming here for yearsssssss, BUT I think this year it may come to an end, sadly. :( :( The price has gone up SOOO much, I got a lion king bake and takoyaki and paid $28. The food is delicious, I like the takoyaki when it's fresh, rather than the ones that have been sogging away in the containers. You can request in fresh ones if you are willing to wait 10-15 minutes. I wish they post the price instead of just having the sheet out front. Parking can be difficult, its on the main street, which is Park street, that's busy.

Poke Koma has become one of our staples for a tasty and satisfying meal in downtown Alameda. The fish is always fresh. They offer two sizes of bowls - regular with three proteins, or large with five proteins. The staff is always nice. They are open throughout the day, none of that annoying mid-day closure that most sushi places in the area do. The place can get crowded when the kids from nearby Alameda High School get out for lunch. Parking in the area - on the ironically named Park St. - is always tough; you will probably have to park a couple of blocks away. A solid lunch or dinner destination for delicious poke. And now I'm craving poke again....

Why did yelp remove my review?????? I was a paying customer!!!!! My receipt is in the photo! On Sunday my family and I leave to see our nephew play ball. We arrive early and head to Poke Koma in Alameda for snacks. We walk in and I head to the claw machine, my kids run over to grab snacks, my husband ask a worker to exchange money for tokens. We head over to the cashier to pay. We pay. Then the cashier says to my husband "you were the biggest a**hole in Chinese school" in shock I replied "excuse me whatever issues you had with my husband you can do that somewhere else my kids are here" she replies "they should hear it, never come here again" extremely upset we leave. That night we receive an email through the receipt we paid. Yes I replied. At the store she calls my husband an a**hole, in the email she's uses the word bully. My son who is in elementary is learning what the true meaning of bully means. When I think back to grade school there were def people in class that I did not care for but did they bully me? No! I'm sure there were people in my class that did not care for me as well. If someone approached me now and told me something I did back in grade school hurt them I will apologize 100%. I was just a kid then and did not know any better. I still make mistakes till this day. It's how we learn. My daughter comes home and tells me sometimes kids are being disruptive in class and she probably doesn't care for them as well. But are they bullies? No! She's a complete stranger to us. Attacked us after we paid. With children around. Are you still supporting this business?????!

We were on a nice weathered weekend walk and came across this cute little hidden gem in my boyfriend's hometown, Alameda. Poke Koma has super fresh ingredients being served. I was skeptical because they leave the seafood out fresh in the open without a covering. But their following is so high, that the fish doesn't stay out for long without being served after being newly sliced. The servers were all youngish perhaps in college but very nice and generous with their portions. We spent $23 (including tip) on a large poke bowl (6 proteins) in a split bowl as I don't like some of the raw fish my partner likes. It was such good quality ingredients. We got double salmon in one bowl with roasted garlic miso and teriyaki sauce mixed. Toppings I added were creepy wontons, fried garlic, green onions, and sesame seeds. The second half of the large bowl included shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, and scallops with roasted garlic aioli and teriyaki. Our base sides were seaweed salad, avocado, sushi ginger, and sushi rice. The bathroom was decently clean and average but wide and spacious. Overall, for the price, quality, quantity, and various arrangement of menu items, I'd definitely be back to get me some poke here. P.S. They also sell musubi, breakfast plates and sandwiches, onigiris, and Hawaiian shaved ice. Although I've heard from other reviews that the shaved ice is like a snow cone and not legit, I haven't tried it myself.

I've come here quite a few times and have ordered takeout from here a few times also. Staff and Service: - Everytime I come here, the workers are all very nice and patient, especially considering how busy it usually is and how loud it can get Food: - Poke bowl: I usually get the regular poke bowl with sushi rice and all salmon. They have tons of proteins, toppings, and sauces to choose from - Drinks: they have about 8 milk tea flavors to choose from, as well as bottled and canned drinks (beer, sake, juice, soda, water, etc.) - Side dishes: they also have some side dishes like spam musubi, sushi bake, Onigiri, etc. Miscellaneous: - Bathroom is in the back of the store - There are many tables for small groups or individuals (two high top tables as well) - Parking is available via street or garage parking

Looks pretty. But if you're looking for authentic shaved ice, this is a snow cone.

The inside was BLACK and soggy!! Chinese all you can eat buffets have better quality than this. It was actually so bad I couldn't even continue eating it. The price was atrocious for that as well ($25 for 1lb, $22 for half). Service was just as bad. The two waitresses seemed like they hated being there and took forever to get us menus, took even longer to take our order and she just sat behind the counter and ate instead of bringing us water or utensils. They never once came back to check in on us after dropping the food off. The catfish was BLAND despite it looking seasoned which was shocking and the short ribs looked and tasted boiled as you can see in the photo. Just overall horrible quality. I'm actually sad about this spot! Just moved to the east bay from sf and it looked promising. Just was an unfortunate disappointment.

Parking is a bit difficult but we managed to find street parking a block away. Wasn't too crowded and there was plenty of seating inside. You order first and you find a table to sit, and they bring out the food to you. Self serve water is available. The food came out pretty quick! Thoughts: - Lobster roll (classic) was delicious! Generous amount of lobster. Would definitely get this again. Chips weren't too great though. - Fried shrimp basket was nice. Shrimp was crispy and tasty. Fries were also very crispy and flavorful. The sauces go well with the shrimp/fries. Coleslaw isn't the best though. - The crab nachos were surprisingly good. A nice cheese sauce combo with pico/avocado crema and a good amount of crab. - Garlic noodles were fine, nothing standout about them. - Mix and match basket with catfish, cod, and calamari (not pictured): Catfish was solid (would highly recommend, one of the favorites of the meal!), but would pass on the cod and calamari - a bit dry/fishy. Would recommend for a casual spot for seafood and a nice view!

Anyone remember the Jack London Village that they tore down to build this end of the development? Anyways - this is a fast casual type spot, where you order from the counter, place the little number sign on your table and wait for it to be delivered. The menu is your standard seafood joint by the water type, with all the usual suspects represented. Fried fish, shrimp, chowder, seafood pastas--if you've ever been to a seaside seafood joint, chances are good that the menu here is exactly like the one you remember seeing at the countless other places like this one. I noticed right off the bat that their pricing structure was on the high side - with a $17 burger and fries option, with the bulk of the fried seafood options in the $22-25 range. A cheaper choice might be the $16 fish tacos (two of them) but I kind of draw the line at paying $8 for a single taco. Our table ordered a few of the fried options plus a few soda beverages. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and I noticed that the silver metal trays that the food comes on is a bit on the small side, especially considering the prices for each dish. The fried shrimp dish was a big scoop of mega-salty french fries, and 3 average sized deep fried shrimp. Yes - 3 as in 1, 2, 3. That's what - $7+ a shrimp? The two fried fish platters weren't much better portion-wise. My deep fried cod consisted of three modest sized fish-fingers, and not the single luscious chunk of perfectly fried cod I had imagined in my head when ordering. They were fine - but very average and nothing that stood out as life-changing or something to write home about. As mentioned earlier, they must be employing the Little Rascals method where they over salt everything, in hopes that you'll order another beverage to wash down the copious mounts of sodium (I figure about 4+ days worth). The fried catfish platter that rounded out our order was more of the same - thin meager portions of fish on a large bed of mega-salted fries. Small plastic containers of generic pre-made tartar sauce and coleslaw can with each platter. The coleslaw was fine - just very forgettable and perhaps a tad on the flavorless/watery side. All said, was it okay? Yes. Was it anything outstanding that I'd crave and plan my return to have again? No. It is in line with touristy by-the-Sea seafood places that charge an extra couple of bucks because they're "on the water"? Pretty much. You're paying for the view and the 'scene' of sitting on the patio out front to people watch, and not for the food. I kind of hate these places and normally try my best to stay away from them, but every once in awhile, you gotta put on your tourist hat and join the mindless flock. A meager 2 stars outta 5 from me. Instead, I'd stroll around this area on a Sunday when they hold the farmer's market (again - is not what it used to be) and then drive through the tube to Alameda where great dining spots are numerous on Park Street. You can stop at Crab Cove and Crown Beach on the way, for more touristy sightseeing.

Being Taylor, I had to finish out the dinner with another cocktail (lemon drop) that was great and finally I had a little glass of port as my dessert. All in al a great little dinner at Alley & Vine. Thanks again to Janet and the team for some excellent service and incredible food.

the food was really good even to go. that really all i have to say that was good…read more i went there to order to go. there were around 3-4 tables with people that were eating there and we were the only ones ordering togo. our order wasn't big, it was a normal seafood boil with garlic noodles. thats it. we waited around 10-15 minutes at first before wondering where our food was. i noticed that the couple that was eating there had ordered another bag for to go after we had ordered and they got their food before us. we gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued waiting. in total we waited 30-40 minutes for a TO GO order of two items. we asked them where our food was and the waitress checked it. it was never sent to the kitchen because they had computer issues but what i was confused about is why were we the only ones with an order problem and not any of the people that came after us ordering to go as well. i am also confused why the waiters were walking around serving everyone else and not noticing that we've been sitting there for so long. and the restaurant was not packed AT ALL. no one thought "why are they sitting there for so long after ordering 30 minuted ago?" after checking in with her, the waitress was very apologetic and offered for a free appetizer. we ordered cajun fries. we got home and the cajun fries were normal fries with no seasoning at all. are we serious?
