    Regular Poke Bowl
    Ronald L.

Was craving Poke and saw Poke Origin and decided to give it a try. Well they didn't disappoint there's many various combinations you can configure your bowl. They even have snow crab which was really delicious. If you are in the Sunset district and looking for good Poke I'd definitely stop by Poke Origin.

This is for a GrubHub/takeout experience. Staff seem friendly because I had to call to ask for clarification on what a combo deal was and they were very helpful. They drew on the take out bag which I thought was just adorable. Food was very good, fresh and had great flavor. My favorite was the scallop, but the tuna and escolar were also good. Accidentally added tamago instead of tobiko, my bad but the tamago was still good even though on the sweet side. Quantity for cost was very good. I would definitely stop by to grab food before going to the park next time.

One of the best poke bowls I've ever had. It was so flavorful. I did the regular serving with crab meat and ahi tuna. I added pineapple and the sweet corn, cilantro, green onion, spicy mayo and their poke sauce. It did not disappoint. The inside is small and was a bit warm and there are no public restrooms but the service was great and they got our order out fast. Would visit again.

3 Scoops with Sushi White Rice and Scallops & Spicy Tuna & Salmon

I came here on a Wednesday night with a friend. While most people seemed to order poke to-go, my friend and I stayed to eat in the restaurant that can seat around less than 20. The decorations are minimal and tropical themed, with the workers being very sweet. I ordered a regular poke bowl with sushi white rice as my base and scallop and spicy tuna and salmon as my proteins. The bowl was well-proportioned and worth the price. I believe the ingredients were pretty fresh, and there was a good amount of protein compared to the other toppings. Rather than the poke being served immediately, we waited for around 10 minutes for our poke. Besides the slower service than I expected, the poke bowl was delicious & well-priced!

I used to live in the neighborhood, and this was actually one of the first places I tried when I was new in town. It left a great impression. I got shrimp and tuna over a salad base, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. What I really loved was sitting by the big windows and watching Irving Street while I ate which made the whole meal feel even more enjoyable. Solid spot for a casual, feel-good meal.

This is a good Poki Bowl place in the sunset in SF. My favorite Bowl is the White Rice Both Spicy Crab and Regular Crab with jalapeños, onions, cilantro, spicy mayo. That's my style of Poki bowl. I always come here to get points on my clover app I got about 5 or 6 points on the clover app. If you get 10 points or more on the clover app if you visit Poke Origin. You'll get a free bowl on your next visit.

Stopped by for a quick pick up and all of the ingredients are fresh! They're very generous with portions here. My local go-to in the Sunset for a quick healthy meal. Quick service and clean space.

Fill out one of these order forms. You have a choice of three scoops $13.99 or five scoops $16.99 of protein. Everything else is unlimited. In my five days of stay in San Francisco, I came here twice. Portion is good. There is five minute parking in front of the business. My one gripe is that food is served out of hard plastic .

I had been hanging in the Inner Sunset area, which is one of my favorite areas in the city, and was looking for a nearby Poke place. When I came here, it was still take out only, no indoor dining yet. I went with all salmon with a spring mix base, with all the fixins. I did appreciate that they were generous with the salmon and ginger, most poke places I have to ask for extra ginger. I always like the places that have you fill out your order on a form, checking the boxes, and you can watch them or not if you want. That poke bowl really hit the spot!!!

Had time to rate my order but forgot my drink, 2/10 big yikes! Also charge for "bag fee" for each item on doordash but gave me one bag anyway

Large portions--very filling. Tasty food. Lots of options. A good occasional alternative to sushi.

We changed from the platter to à la carte dishes and as we were finishing up our order, we got word that the Short ribs were in stock so we ordered one of those as well. We had a large beast, 2 poke orders, garlic noodles, fried rice, loco moco, spam masubi, short ribs, and 2 orders of chicken wings. We had some alcoholic beverages as well and found the yuzu to be delicious, but overall everything was tasty and good. I really enjoyed the chicken wings, very flavorful but truly bummed this place is going to close. Ambiance was nice, I remember people coming here to karaoke and even hanging out to watch games.

The Mai Tai was so easy to drink. It was like juice but so dangerous because they don't skimp on the alcohol. For the poke specials, they do not add fillers. There's a good amount of toppings, and it's a good sizable portion. Fish is decently fresh. Definitely come in for them. Wings are okay, but they aren't the best that I've had. If I was in the area or happy hour crawling again, this would definitely be one of my go to spots.

It's tucked away from the rest of the bar with plenty of seating, so we could all sit comfortably and rest our feet after being in heels all day. We had a $1k minimum bar tab spend, which we easily met with about 30 of us having at least one drink. Bonus points for having a men's room, women's room, and two unisex stalls! I ordered a matcha martini since I really needed a little caffeine to sustain myself through karaoke afterwards as well, and it is now one of my favorite cocktails. Super creamy with the delicious notes of pineapple and coconut, and you can't really taste the alcohol (just the way I like it). Half our table ordered one after trying mine! We also grabbed some duck fat fries to share, and they were well fried, crispy and not greasy feeling. Thank you Fermentation Lab for having us!

Made it just in time for the happy hour, which was $2-$4 off the original price and ordered even more items. The deviled eggs had four pieces(2 kinds), the bacon marmalade was rich and flavorful and the smoked salmon was quite salty. The calamari misto was lightly battered and I loved that it came with a mix of artichoke heart, shrimp, calamari, onions, and jalapenos. I could taste the umani of the duck fat fries. The uni pasta got the creaminess down, and the squid ink pasta was cooked well, but the uni flavor was very light and the flavors weren't as bold as I had expected. The prime rib was tender and the sides were decent. The chefs amuse bouche and the churro were the cherry on top for the prime rib special. With everything that was ordered, I was worried that I didn't have enough table space, but all the items were spaced out enough to fit everything a the right time. The Fermentation Lab is the perfect place for a date for those that appreciate a lovely atmosphere, welcoming service, vibrant drinks and beautifully plated dishes. I probably wouldn't come for just the prime rib special, but I would love to try other items on the menu. I wasn't expecting any screens, but they had two projectors and a tv playing the USA vs Bosnia World Cup game so that was a pleasant surprise!
