we just went to this place and saw a pair of employees , a guy and a girl ( 7/1/2026 at 7:10 pm) not wearing gloves and touching food with their hands! Its disgusting and against all the sanitary rules. We've been coming to this place for years and never seen this. In addition, the portions started being tiny.Looks like 2 scoops of fish instead of 5. I can compare, because we been coming to this place for years. I know some folks say the protein portion is small. My wife does complain too. I usually get the 4 scoop large and there's enough protein to satisfy me. That being said maybe they should implement a serving portion by weight so it's always the same. Then customers won't feel cheated. Prob worth considering. Salad base, hot brown rice, various toppings are all tasty and not wilted or mushy. Forego any of the add $$ options and you get a decent deal for your money. I came in at 11am but had to wait around 5 minutes because the guy was late. I came inside when the door opened, giving him a little time to prep what he needed. When I came inside the plastic was on everything still which is okay because I get it sometimes stuff happens and u don't get to work on time. I'm writing this review to remind myself not to order the snow crab (real crab) again. It was very goopy, tasted kind of fishy? And I almost accidentally ate a piece of crab shell in my first bite. Definitely sticking with the imitation crab in the future! I wish they offered some more crispy toppings like fried onions or fried wonton bits. This poke bowl sucks. The guy here barely puts any fish in the bowl and when getting a large its barely filled halfway. I ordered a large with salmon tuna and spicy tuna and there was about 4 pieces of salmon and tuna and the rest was just spicy tuna that tasted odd. Always like that here wouldnt recommend. read more

i only recently started coming and a female worker would serve my food and give a generous portion of fish. But when the male worker prepared my food, he would be SO STINGY. i asked for 2 portions of salmon and the first time this is how much he gave me. This is can be finished in 5 bites at most. And the second time he did the same thing, and i asked for more but he would say it's per scoop but every scoop was never filled to the top and it would be half of it. He said i'd have to add more to get more .. but that's ridiculous. I love the quality of the sashimi but the portion size from that ONE WORKER is ABSURD. read more

I get poke here with my boyfriend every few weeks, he gets them almost once a week since he loves poke so much. Everyone has their go-to poke spot and in Colma, I think this should be everyone's go-to poke spot! They have a stack of the menus by the entrance that you can fill out and hand to them for your order - which I think is so much easier and efficient. Onto the food - the sashimi is always fresh when I have it so that's always a huge factor for me - no sick tummies here! The sauces and toppings are generic poke choices, nothing that really makes me go: omg whaaaat, but I think what draws me to come back here is how consistent they are with their bowls and quality.
