This is my go to spot because it's close to work but lately I've been more issues w this place. Staff is good but there's been a few times when they're out of tuna or spicy tuna.. last time i came they were out of crab salad too. Spicy tuna is usually good, the salmon is almost always too fishy and chewy. I've tried the albacore too and it is also fishy. Some girls pour the right amount of sauces others leave the fish too dry. It's kinda hard to gauge it when they're pouring to tell if it's going to be saucy enough until it's too late and I'm eating it at work. Prices have gone up as well. A soda can and a medium bowl was $23. I come here because it's convenient but recently the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. read more

Overall a really good poke spot. I ordered some poke from them through DoorDash and they followed my special instructions of including some extra sauce which I give kudos to them because most companies don't even read the special instructions. The shrimp, salmon, and spicy tuna were all delicious and tasted fresh. I ordered the medium size bowl and it was definitely a decent size they did not skimp on the ingredients, I do wish however that they offered free avocado instead of charging extra for it but I understand. When I have time to go in person staff is very helpful, efficient, and kind, it's only my delivery orders that have been bad. I pay extra for Baked eel and only got one scoop of each protein and my eel was cold no sauce either. This place looked fairly new and the pictures looked really FRESH and delicious so I decided to venture out of the way for this good looking poke. I went in this past Sunday around 4:30PM or so and there was one person ordering ahead of me. As soon as I got in, some girl welcomed me and we got started. Here's what I ordered, step by step, with descriptions: //STEP 1: Size & Base// **Large Bowl with White Rice: When I first glanced at the prices, I was like HOLY SH*T, that's expensive. But then again, if the portions and the quality are good, then I'll pay that much any day. That wasn't the case with this section. I was served a whole bunch of white rice, but it was not properly made/kept warm. Since they are fairly new, they probably don't have a huge customer base, hence, the rice wasn't as warm. On top of the rice not being warm, it also had a funny flavor, actually no flavor as well. The rice was all chunky and in big lumps of pieces, which was very off putting. //STEP 2: Proteins// **For my four scoops (got an extra scoop for $2 more): Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Albacore, and 2 scoops of Scallops: So, in my 28 years of living, I've had tons and tons of good quality fish and along with that, I have worked at a successful poke shop in Fullerton for a little over two years, I know what good quality looks and tastes like. Unfortunately, their proteins didn't meet my standards. Sure, they looked pretty fresh, but it didn't have that WOW flavor factor. I can eat a fresh piece of salmon any day of the week and have that bursting flavor, but none of their proteins had that. //STEP 3: Sides// **For my sides, I went with their Crab Salad, Sweet Onion, Seaweed Salad, Cilantro, Jalapeno, and Cucumbers: One thing I want to point out is that i'm glad they use fresh jalapenos because most places use the marinated jalapenos you can find with your nachos. That is a definitely great add on. Along with that, every other side they offered was very fresh. The one thing that was off putting was their version of the crab salad. The crab salad had a funky sweet flavor, along with a heavy dosage of mayonnaise, which is a COMPLETE NO in my books, as it should have a light dab of mayo with a stronger crab flavor. I was also shocked at the absurd $2 for avocado. The avocado they had in their bin was all brown. I'd suggest that you keep fresh avocados and peel them fresh to order if you're going to charge THAT MUCH FOR AVOCADO. //STEP 4: Sauces// **For my sauces, I went with their Yuzu Ponzu and Sesame Oil: Sure, I love sauce, but poke is meant to eat with a light drizzle of sauce or just even soy sauce and wasabi. I wanted to try out their yuzu ponzu and honestly, I tasted nothing at all. That sauce was so light that it had no flavor at all. Sesame oil, however, is always a great add on with some fresh sashimi. //STEP 5: Toppings// **For my toppings, I went with Masago, Edamame, Green Onion, Ginger, Wasabi, Sesame Seeds, and Dry Seaweed: Nothing special here and nothing to complain about either. Just your typical toppings that are served everywhere. Two large bowls and one extra scoop of protein came out to be $35, which is very absurd. First of all, your rice was completely a disaster. My mind can't wrap around the fact that you completely screwed up the rice. Your proteins seemed to be fresh, but very flavorless. Toppings were a bit generous and fresh, except for the off putting flavor of your crab salad mix. $15 for a large bowl is a bit high, don't you think? I can get a great, fresh, and deliciously tasting bowl anywhere else for a mere $12 and it'll come with a free scoop of avocado that's actually green. Besides that, the service I received by the girl working was great. However, there was a guy working alongside her and he looked a bit pissed off and irritated while serving the woman in front of me. The girl was super nice about letting me know that there's a shortage but also, I haven't had this issue at any other poke spot. Decided to try this place out. My wife and I used to eat here when it was fins n tails. The place is really clean and the service was great. The prices are a little bit more than the other poke places around the area. I got the spring salad with tuna, octopus and salmon. Their sauces are good but they seem a bit watered down and not as spicy. Their spices are mostly mild so if you like it mild then their sauces will be great. They do offer a frequent buyer card (buy 10 bowls, get 1 free) which is great. We will be coming back again to try the other proteins and sauces and add to this review. read more

When asked to put one on, she stated that she is "medically exempt". This is something white people say so they can do/say whatever they want. Other such phrases include, but are not limited to: "but her emails!", "let me speak to your manager", and "well I never!". Anyway, Christa explained to Becky with the bad hair that she wouldn't serve her and directed her to place an order online. This was my first time eating raw fish after a traumatic experience I've had with choking on fish. But the worker Christian really changed my view on fish and I was able to overcome my fear after he told me about the food and how good it is. We've had multiple good experiences with the food when we walk in to order (regardless if to-go or dine-in). The service is okay. However, every time we order online our order is wrong. We've ordered delivery about 5-6x and usually they get one of the orders wrong (missing ingredients, no sauce). One time they put half of the items I ordered in my husband's bowl and vice versa. I convinced my husband to try one more time yesterday. They noted on our receipt that they were out of crab and edamame (the ordering site didn't indicate this), some of our toppings were missing, and no sauce on either of our bowls. Both were bland. We gave them multiple opportunities to get it right for online ordering because we know mistakes happen from time to time. read more

Expensive and lacking in flavor. Large poke bowl only has 4 scoops while all the other poke spots I've been to offer 5 for a large. My second issue is that customers can't see prices on the menu until closer to the register so I didn't realise that a large bowl with 4 scoops is $20.95, which is about $2 more than large bowls anywhere else. Skipped avocado because they charge a ridiculously high $2 extra, for that much I'd expect a whole avocado. The sauce isn't very flavorful either, or maybe they just didn't put enough? I got back and added sesame oil and furikake to it. I ordered my bowl with a the salad base and I'm really hoping they wash the lettuce because a few bites tasted like dirt. Overall, very disappointing poke bowl given the higher than average price. read more
