Nice comfortable place to get a healthy meal. It's a small place and if you're going to get a bowl, there's a sign hanging above the cash register with costs for toppings. Most toppings have an additional cost, but it doesn't show on the paper you fill out. My $10 pole bowl cost $19, and when I asked why, she pointed at the sign. I brought my mom here for her birthday because she said that she preferred this over the other ramen place in SC. My sister is a vegetarian and gave the veggie crunchy roll 2 thumbs up and will come back again for it. Spicy Miso Ramen- 1 star. Hate to say it but this is the worst ramen I have ever tasted! The broth had no taste and was thin...was there even miso paste added? The pork meat was of poor quality, rough, and no flavor (this is not the good stuff Chashu you get a legit ramen spot). The temperature of the ramen was not hot-hot with no steam rising, the egg and meat were cool temp... this annoys me. Also depends on your preference, they add cilantro to their miso ramen. Saw it in the picture and asked when ordering not to add it... cilantro has no place in ramen in my opinion. My mom took one taste of her ramen and said, "hmmm maybe it's a different chef today, usually it's much better". No thanks, I would not recommend coming here for ramen. Make the trip either to Irvine/Costa Mesa, or even better Torrance/Gardena/DTLA if you want really good quality ramen where the broth is simmering from scratch overnight 24+ hours before serving. What IS this junk? We went in when there was only 1 other table, and ordered 1 poke roll each (total of 2) and waited almost a half hour for our food. First problem: it's not even a roll. Why was it called a roll when it isn't one? Second problem: WHAT THE HELL was plain boiled macaroni doing on my plate. Why call that Macaroni salad? That was boiled, plain pasta. We stopped in for lunch on the way down south on 4-30-16. They are located right off the freeway and a few blocks from the pier. We got there at as the doors opened at noon so we were able to get in and out quickly. The place is a super small Hawaiian poke place with surfer decor that plays old rock and roll. There is also outside seating that looked nice because it's shaded in their hall not out in the sun with everyone staring at you while you stuff your face.
