The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the shop doubles as a tea/matcha spot as well just in case you're craving a beverage with your meal. The fish is always fresh, there are tons of great toppings and sides to choose from, and I love that they offer mango as a topping since not every poke place does. We got told that there was no more avocado "none left" at 3pm. I asked if they were making more. He said it'll be 2 min after asking another cook to make it. Why not start with that? Lazy staff and checks out why the fish tastes like it wasn't prepared right. We also never get spam masubi. It's out every time we go. We even called ahead of time and they couldn't hold them for us. I wanted to like this place but had an unpleasant experience. The owner / manager doesn't seem to care about the customer which is unfortunate. Poke was nothing special compared to other competitors in the area. Price was ok. The matcha was a huge noooo. You will be waiting 10-15 mins for your drink and questioning why you ordered once you take a sip. It's just straight up milk no strong matcha flavor and lukewarm. Ordering online vs in person makes a huge difference. I would recommend only ordering in person as they will mess up your order and give you smaller portions. We decided to give this spot a try since I was dying for some poke and didn't want to drive too far. My usual spot is Pokeworks in Irvine. I would have to say that the price is pretty fair compared to other spots. I ended up getting 3 scoops of protein, which I felt was fair compared to other places around. Everything there build your own, per usual poke spots. I was a bit surprised that they actually did not have many sauce options that were not spicy. I usually like to go for an eel sauce or teriyaki, something a bit on the thicker side. I enjoyed how they had fruit options, like mango. Not many places have this! Other toppings were pretty limited. I thought everything was decent overall, but think I would have enjoyed it better if they were to have mixed the fish and the sauce together instead of just pouring sauce over the entire bowl. I feel like in the Aliso Viejo are, this is probably one of the better options, but if you are willing to drive a bit further, you can more likely come across better quality poke! read more

Wow! I was so impressed with this joint. We were surprised to see that Matcha was inside the same location which was awesome cause we got dinner and dessert in one go! We ordered a large poke bowl with salmon, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and regular tuna. And all the toppings. We also got a medium a bowl with all shrimp which was delicious. What an awesome Poke joint! My daughter was craving for Poke and we were driving. I spotted this joint and made a quick stop. I did not have high expectations, but boy. it blew my bar in a jiffy. We ordered 4 bowl with Salmon chunks, Shrimp, and Spicy Tuna. The scoops were generously portioned. The seafood were super fresh and high quality, and the condiments (specially imitation crab meat and mangoes) were top notch. We also ordered a Lychee soda and it was a hit as well. Ability to follow directions was at -1 today. I placed an online order around 2pm on 9/23 for my girlfriend and I. I ordered a medium bowl with 3 proteins, but they only put in 2. With the 2 proteins they did put in the bowl, there was barely ANY. I paid for extra crab meat in my girlfriend's bowl, but we only received one portion. I also put down spicy mayo on the side, but that didn't happen as it was all over her bowl. So I spent money to have extra protein AND extra crab meat and GOT NOTHING... I got ripped off. i come here all the time but recently i was made very uncomfortable by a worker- he was a short, middle age looking man who was asian and on the bigger side. i had just came from the gym and was wearing a tank top- i ordered a medium poke bowl and the entire time i was ordering, he was staring at my cleavage. i've also seen him stare at his coworkers inappropriately, but i always chalked it up to being in my head until this morning. will not be coming back here and very upset. we do need to do more to protect women, and i am very disappointed. read more

I've come to this place a few times now and I've loved the food every time! But each time the place seemed really busy and looked like they need more people helping in the front, it looked like it was two businesses in one place and when I visited there were only one person working in each side. I feel bad for the workers, they were behind on orders and had lines on both sides of the businesses. When it was my turn to order the service was still really friendly and they did a great job making my boyfriend and I's bowls! The last few times I came past 8pm but they seemed to be closed? The sign on the door says they close every night at 9pm yet I came here twice and they were closed both times before 9pm. I want to like this place so bad! The food is great and the customer service is great but I can't be waiting 15-20 minutes for a bowl or waiting 20+ minutes after work! I love a great poke meal so my wife and I decided to stop here for lunch. I chose the small poke (two proteins: tuna and albacore, both very fresh) with brown rice and everything added (and it's alot that they add. They're very generous!) My wife got the unagi bowl. Both dishes were generous portions: my bowl had lots of seaweed, corn, garlic flakes, edamame beans, etc. My wife's unagi had wonderfully prepared unagi with corn, avocado, etc. The two women behind the counter were very friendly. The ambiance in the restaurant was very relaxing (although, admittedly, I found the air conditioner a bit on the cold side). At another counter in the restaurant space they also serve matcha and other tea drinks, which maybe we'll try another day. A great place for a light poke meal. read more
