    Macadamia Nut Pancakes. *drool*

Another spot where we redeemed our SGV passport offers. I had Aloha Food Factory bookmarked for a long time. I was very happy with this first visit. We came on a Sunday and it was very packed! The whole restaurant was almost at full capacity. The parking lot is also small but street parking is available. The restaurant has the entire aloha vibe. There's indoor and outdoor seating and you order at the register before you find seats. We ended up using the redemption for the spam Musubis and I ordered a stack of the Macadamia Nut pancakes. We were lucky to find seating outside and the food didn't take long to be received. The spam musubi were very saucy, but I enjoyed them. The Macadamia Nut pancakes is IT, though! You must try these pancakes if it's your first time. The portion is enormous! The first bite of it was exceptional! The cream sauce and textures from the Macadamia blended well with the fluffiness of the pancakes. It's their staple and it's what Aloha Food Factory is known for. Great first visit. Great offer from the SGV passport. Go there and try those pancakes! I can't wait to try these again in the future! ( ^_^)b

I'm a Loco Moco fiend!! And this place had one of the best loco moco's I've had in a long time. The gravy was delicious and the burger was perfect. And OMG the macadamia nut pancakes were the absolute BEST! I think it was the best pancake I've ever had. Service was quick and friendly. And just felt so nice and cozy in there. We went on a weekday and they were pretty busy! Glad we were able to get a table! I'm sure it's even more packed in the weekends so just keep that in mind. But overall such a solid Hawaiian food spot! Can't wait to come back!

Very happy I stopped by after reading reviews. Working right down the street on Valley, this place is a must try! Came in starving and left with a box to go (plus an extra portion for lunch). Food came in a generous helping and the flavors were spot on. The place was filled at 10:30 in the morning for lunch and breakfast. Service was friendly, everyone behind the cash register and the grill had the aloha spirit. Place was decorated quite nicely, with lots of island decor and U of Hawaii merchandise on the wall. Looking forward to my next visit!

Finding good plate lunch spoff the island is harder than people think. There are plenty of places serving chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, and teriyaki chicken, but it just doesn't hit right. Aloha Kitchen was exactly what I was hoping for. The food was ono, the portions were mean, and the whole place felt like you were sitting in your auntie's kitchen. Nothing fancy, just good local food made with aloha. Yes, macadamia nut pancakes, and macadamia nut French toast is for sure howley, but they were just so good. I'll definitely be back. The service was aloha and just felt right. If you've been looking for a place that serves plate lunch like back home, I'd definitely give Aloha Kitchen a try.

Parking: side street parking and there's a small parking lot at the back. Seating: Some table seating indoors and outdoors. You seat yourself after you're done ordering at the counter. Loco Moco entree: Dish was okay overall. The burger patty was dry because they formed the patty to be thicker so it doesn't really retain much of the juice or flavor. Cole slaw had more mayonnaise cream compared to other Hawaiian restaurants which was a bit bummer. Stand out regarding this dish was the veggies side, it was slightly sweet due to the miso glaze. I haven't been served glazed Hawaiian veggie dish before and it was definitely yummy. Spicy shrimp garlic lunch plate: I would say this dish is better than the loco moco in the standards to flavor. It's a must to pair with with rice because with my Asian palette it was too salty for me.

The place is small but has indoor and outdoor seating, you order at the counter and things tend to sell out . We got there a little late so not everything was available. I ordered the spam fried rice and it was really good and huge definitely shareable. My husband order the macadamia pancakes and we were a bit disappointed- we were expecting the pancakes to have the nuts inside but they were just regular pancakes with the toppings . I'd go again and definitely research what I'm going to order ahead of time

It is very decently priced but that's about all I have to say. It was quite disappointing, so many people hyped up this place but when we actually got there to eat everything kinda just tastes like it came out of a box or bag. The zucchini fries were def from restaurant depot, the teriyaki sauce was overly sweet like it came from a bottle and the macadamia pancakes which we were looking forward to were just pancakes with vanilla pudding on top. Not to mention there were a ton of flies and the poor lady next to us didn't even get her order after 30 mins and her partner had already finished his plate. Glad we tried it but not going back.

Huge portions at great prices! I ordered the Kalua Pork and it was a bit too salty. Other than that, no complaints.

We were craving Hawaiian food yesterday, so we went to Aloha Food Factory around 1-ish. We ordered the macadamia nut pancakes (2 pcs, $8.99), one Spam Musubi (4 pcs, $5.99), one Kalua Pig Bowl ($9.99), and one Plate Lunch with one entrée ($13.99). I picked the Lau Lau for an extra $1.99. We were told that the pancakes would take a while, maybe around 30 minutes, but my daughters still wanted them because they order them every time we visit. I originally thought only the pancakes would take longer, but all of our food took quite a while. The Spam Musubi finally arrived around 1:35 PM, the plate lunch came about 10 minutes later, and the pancakes were finally served at 1:50 PM. By then, we were starving, so everything tasted delicious. We just wished the vegetables were cooked a little softer since the broccoli was still quite hard. The pork Lau Lau and Kalua pork were both flavorful and tender. Last but not least, my daughters really enjoyed the macadamia nut pancakes. It's definitely their favorite item every time!

Wow!!!!! I was brought back to Ha-Va-E ( as the locals pronounce it). These are authentic island dishes without a doubt. It's no wonder this place stays busy, busy. Stopped by Saturday morning and we ordered enough for the four of us and man we couldn't eat it all. These pancakes are delicious but heavy, they fill you up fast. All of the food was amazing. Definitely hits the spot. Not too pricey either. You defense get your moneys worth. I love the family owed vibes. You can feel the love in every corner of the restaurant. Growing up going to Alhambra HS this building used to be a Taco Bell next door to a KFC. Not anymore. They have kept the outside seating, as this is a small old school taco bell building. Seating is needed but they do have to go orders as well. Cant wait to be back to this yummy delicious comfort Hawaiian cuisine. Ha!

Mannnn this place is crazy! First and foremost the portions are massive and the LOCO MOCO was fantastic. I've been to Hawaii several times and pride myself on being a lover of the culture and food, but I can honestly say that I've never had a loco moco quite this delicious. The beef was a great consistency and flavored well, but that gravy. The peppery and deep deep flavor was just undeniably delicious. My wife ordered it and I almost ate half of her plate haha. Ordered macadamia pancakes as well and they were solid. Loved the sauce they put on top. Spam musubi also really good, they cube the pieces and grill them on all sides so you get more char and a bit more of a crunch. Certified banger! I highly recommend the spot, but be prepared the inside does get crowded and seating inside is somewhat limited. Shoutout to Mario for the wonderful service and great atmosphere.

The only authentic Hawaiian food in the SGV. Mac nut pancakes always hit. Order a large with the cream on the side so you can have a tasty leftover set up for later later. Fresh, delicious grindz whenever I'm craving.

Just wondering if this spot is worth the trip from Orange County & Burbank? Any recommendations from anyone for breakfast choices either here or somewhere close?…

That's a helluva drive but I'm gonna go there from North Hollywood, just for the Macadamia nut pancakes alone! Add the pork and it's a no-brainer. Jump in and buckle up!

A huge thank you to Shawn for being so welcoming! He gave us amazing recommendations, was incredibly kind, and made our first visit even more enjoyable. Great food is one thing, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back. As Popping Yolk says... "Breakfast is a meal. Brunch is a culture." After eating here...I totally get it.
