Only open a month and they already have it down. Fresh tuna, salmon, shrimp, chicken, tofu and lobster salad plus so many other treats for your brown or white sushi rice. Chose a small bowl but extravagantly large is available. Server was helpful with the large selection of mix ins, sauces and toppings. It's a lot to take in. There is also canned soda but the boba tea looked too good to pass up. Fresh ingredients and amazing taste are two good reasons for a visit. Drop in asap.

Everything was delicious! The fish was super fresh and the sauces were really tasty. I got the Aloha Trio for my sauce, and it paired perfectly with my bowl. The pineapple, corn, and mango added an extra layer of flavor that made everything even better. They had pickled daikon and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was so good--I would definitely come back. My only suggestion would be to add a little more protein--maybe increase the scoop size just a bit. Otherwise, it was a great experience! The Spam musubi was also good.

I've been a die hard poke king fan in the Reno area and I've finally decided to branch out with all of the other upcoming options. Pokemoto is definitely a great option for poke in the sparks area. The fish was fresh and the restaurant was very clean! If you enjoy having options this is the place. Their sauce list is pretty long but great for mixing different flavors and they had a pretty big selection for extras if you're into that. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly. All and all I'd say a solid 5! We will definitely be coming back.

Tried this place for the first time and the poke bowl was SO good. Haven't tried the musubi yet because I'm saving it for tomorrow but they look pretty good as well!

Great food, my favorite poke in Reno/Sparks I've had so far. Also has a good drink selection.

I ordered a large poke bowl and it will feed me for at least a second meal. Large selection of toppings. The decor was new and updated. Would come again.

It wasn't until I found this place that I got that same good feeling. I ordered the teri beef, and it immediately reminded me of the local-style food from the Big Island. One tip: call your order in ahead of time if you can. This place has a very loyal following, and for good reason. You might find yourself competing with the regulars to get your food on time! I also like that you can get rice and the wonton chips versus picking only one as your base. It is the counter style where you choose different things that you want on your Poke bowl. Ingredients have tasted fresh the times I have ordered bowls. Staff is helpful at asking specific things you want and circling back if you may have missed one of the categories. The day of our visit Id enjoy their Chicken Katsu with Curry and Fritzie had a Mixed plate with Garlic Chicken and Katsu. I forgot about their garlic chicken. Their garlic chicken is so good. Each bite was crispy, savory and delicious. On this visit there was something off about their dipping sauce they served with the Katsu. It didn't have that usual smooth flavor. It was slightly more acidic. The curry made better for dipping. The service was quick and despite Fritzie W. changing her mind on a few items, they were still patient and courteous. The restaurant is laid back, and a few patrons eating inside appeared content enjoying their meals. The restaurant seating is basic, seats aren't luxurious or entirely too comfortable but for a quick bite on a week day, you can't complain or shouldn't...only enjoy.

Joe was wonderful and agreed to take on the task of providing the food for 60-80 friends and family members. The food was ready on time and was able to be set up right before the reception began. The food was amazing and several attendees had never heard of or had Kenji's. The spam fried rice was the big hit and almost all of it was eaten. Several attendees were impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. Thanks to Kenji's the reception was very good given the circumstances, it definitely turned out better than the port of subs we had discussed prior to talking to Joe.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.
