Had a small tuna poke bowl and spam musubi today. First I'll talk about the musubi. It's served at room temperature and is the standard version. Not too bad. As is the common issue with these, there's a LOT of rice so the seaweed doesn't hold it together very well. While not a problem it does make it messy. All in all, I would get it again. Now for the bowl. Some of the ingredients I'm not familiar with but I will try anything. I had the tuna with brown rice, teriyaki sauce, corn, edamame, ogo seaweed, hijiki seaweed, carrots, seaweed salad, shredded nori, and sesame seeds. Not bad for $9.99 flavor wise. Unfortunately the rice was undercooked which left me fearing a broken tooth. I know most places use a rice cooker but I think it needs a little more water or time to soften more. I'll probably be back in the future if I happen to be in the area.

I tried calling here to order food. The person answering hung up when I asked what type of food they served. I called back again and they hung up on me again. I'm a native Hawaiian from the Island of Hawai'i (The Big Island). If this is how they respond to customers, I hate to see what the food is like. To the lady who answered the phone and hung up on me. I hope that you have a blessed and brighter day. Mahalo Nui Loa. (Thank you very much) Hint: (808) is Hawai'i's area code. UPDATE: After giving it a thought, I ordered from here via Doordash. I was amazed, and so was my son, who bought me lunch. The food was awesome, and he loved the Taro Milk Tea, trying something new for him. It's become one of his favorite drinks due to its rich flavoring. I'm missing home after having the Poke bowl. Highly recommend here, especially if you're from the islands, here in the middle of nowhere.

Decided to check this place out. Really nice and clean. There was nobody there. The prices are decent, not as pricey as other places I've been to. The poke bowl was pretty good. I have to say the crab tasted weird though, kind of dry. I also got some spam musubi for my kids. They liked it. I did not. I normally do like spam musubi too. But I am more picky when it comes to this. So if my kids will eat it then it's decent. I also got the passion fruits tea with mango jelly, really good! So it's a nice place to stop and get some lunch. Not too pricey. Also the girl that made my order was pretty nice. All in all very well-rounded.

Quaint, clean little place with great poke served expertly by very welcoming staff! This is actually our second time here! We came on the day they opened back in September they're so new and not on Yelp yet so I can't write a review. Salmon, tuna, shrimps and tofu are the main proteins to choose from. Choice of sushi or brown rice for your base. Plenty of veggies for mix-ins and the toppings selection are bomb!

It's actually pretty good if you like sushi you should try these guys poké bowls - get the rice separately from the rest so it can cool off and doesn't warm up the meat. They also give you enough wasabi for like 10 people for some reason.

Really liked this new place. Lots of rice in the bowl! Wish it had more protein. Will ask for extra next time.

Surprised to see a Hawaiian eatery in this town and sure hope people try it. Food was excellent and the staff was very nice. They will explain your options and what each thing is if you are unfamiliar. Don't be afraid to try all the new things you may not have had before, they are all very good of course fresh! I had a build your own Poke Bowl.

I'm a regular at this restaurant because the food is consistently delicious and the service is…read moregreat--but tonight, I left disappointed enough to write this review. We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

Food:Everything had good flavor but the polish was a little off. The appetizers were difficult to…read moreeat without spoons (which were not provided and I felt weird asking for one so I ended up recycling my husband's spoon from his soup). The sushi was wrapped really loosely and fell apart while I picked it up with chopsticks. My husband's beef teriyaki was good and he had no qualms on the flavor but again presentation was a little messy. Service was good. They refilled our waters and soda without issue. The food came out sporadically and was not sent out together, which left my husband waiting to eat while my food got cold (crispy rice) and then warm (sushi), respectively. Ambiance was dark and moody. Like hard to see dark; there was not enough light from the tiny candle on the table to make up for it. I get the vibe but I would opt for more light overall. The decorations on the walls were tasteful. The overhead lighting felt like they raided the outdoor patio light section of Lowe's when it was clearance in the seasonal garden section. The Tiber on the walls was nice but again felt a bit DIY. My biggest issue was with the tableware. I understand that disposable chopsticks are easier than reusable ones but honestly it would have elevated the meal a lot for me. I know it's picky but for the vibe and location it seems like it would have been an easy add.
