This place is Poke Heaven!! It gave me the sense of being back in Hawaii with all of their topping selections. It's located next to Whole Foods and a pizza parlor, but I didn't think twice about stopping here. The way they have their line set up makes it fast to order, similar to Chipotle or Subway. You pick your base, poke style, and then go crazy on their toppings. I really enjoyed the flavor and the environment from this location. I am hoping and praying that they open one on the East side since the only one I found is on Mesa. I will definitely be back if I'm on the west side again!! read more

This place has terrible customer service! I went there for the first time and asked for the sweet chili tofu bowl. He asked me for the spice level of the sauce, I asked for medium. He poured the sauce on top of the veggies then threw it in the bowl, no mixing involved. I brought the bowl back home, tried one bite and immediately spit it out because it was so spicy. My mouth was on fire! And since the sauce was poured over the entire bowl, I couldn't eat any part of it. I called the restaurant back explaining that it is too spicy to put in my mouth, his response was "the sweet chili tofu bowl is supposed to be spicy." No apology, no other explanation. As someone with a fairly high spice tolerance, I am not one to complain about spicy food but this was truly inedible. More significantly, the customer service was terrible. read more

I usually come here to satisfy my poke craving. They give you decent prices and toppings. A regular let's you choose 2 proteins and the large lets you choose 3. I like getting the salmon and ahi tuna mix. The toppings are fresh, tasty, and enjoyable. They also offer kale noodles, which are different. Build your own and you'll be super satisfied. read more

The parking lot was full and there were signs warning people where not to park. I was lucky to get the last spot. Get to the door, and there's people to the door. They woody decorations are quaint and this place is quite...cozy. They actually have a note at the counter which says "if there's no table available, you can sit at pieology next door ". Ooookay. The food was decent. Weird set up if you've never be there before. Like its been said, it's basically Chipotle for the poke set. If you like heat, they have stuff for you. I got jalapenos, gochujang, wasabi and thai chilis (which are notoriously hot). My mouth hurt so good. If you didn't see them on the line, ask for lotus chips as one of your "crunchies". Woohoo, I'm so happy that El Paso has a place to get tasty fresh Poke! I love Poke and Pokéworks was very good. You can order from signature poke bowls or crate your own. Since it was our first time we decided to give their signature dishes a try. I ordered the regular size SHISO SALMON: atlantic salmon - green and sweet onion - edamame - cucumber - sesame seeds - fresh shiso - ponzu fresh sauce and added crunchy garlic, toasted sesame seeds & sriracha sauce. It was sooo tasty and had so much salmon (2 generous scoops). My husband ordered the LARGE SWEET GINGER CHICKEN: free range chicken breast - green and sweet onion - edamame - cilantro - sesame seeds - spicy ginger sauce and added mango, wonton crisps and toasted sesame seeds. He really enjoyed it... I was surprised he ordered this bc he likes raw fish and typically if you're at Poke restaurant you go for the fish. But it is a really good option for those that are not traditional Poke eaters. Both bowls had great flavors and were very satisfying. It was also very reasonably priced: (1) reg sz bowl, (1) large bowl and 2 small fountain drinks under $30 We will be back! read more

Im actually from Hawaii, born and raised, and moved to El Paso with my wife a year ago. And we both agree, after numerous visits to other poke restaurants and food trucks, Pokeworks is the best when it comes to authenticity of my native Hawaiian dish! Every time i come, I'm greeted by the friendly staff, and served generous amounts of proteins and toppings! The customer service is unbeatable, i left my phone there once and an employee took the time to go outside and reach me before i got to my car to hand me my phone back, that speaks for itself if you ask me! There have been times when i come in and theyre out of something, but i cant really blame them because they bring in so much business from Poké lovers like myself. Unfortunately I will be moving back to Hawaii soon and it kind of blows that im not able to come and visit again, but all in all, with Pokeworks just a couple of blocks down where i live, i really feel like i never even left home! I love Poké and ive been in love with Pokeworks since it first opened! I want to say thank you on behalf of me and my wife, and keep up the good work! And to everyone wanting to try something new and refreshing, BELIEVE ME, you wont find a place of this quality and bang for your buck in El Paso. I love Poke! I've eaten it so much at different places so I'm no noob to this! Service: The workers here are so friendly and nice! They worked very efficiently and did it with a good attitude. I liked the fact that they all had clear roles to make the whole process move as fast as possible without skipping quality. My husband is new to this whole Poke line thing, and they made sure he understood what they were asking and were very understanding. They were pretty busy on a Sunday evening but we didn't wait very long to get our food put together and paid. Ambiance: Wow, this place is so clean! You can tell they take care of the place well, there was always at least one person cleaning up every 10 min or so. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Food: Their ingredients are so fresh and they refilled all ingredients immediately when they start to get low so no one gets screwed over with ingredients. I was really surprised how fresh the salmon was, especially since we're landlocked. One issue I've ever had with a few Poke restaurants is that their vegetables weren't fresh. I didn't have the issue here and I didn't see any vegetable that was wilted and not fresh. I got the bowl and it was a lot of food. Husband eats like I never feed him so he got the burrito and a bowl. He's pretty new to Poke and he loved it! His favorite is the limon chili (which I think is a limited seasonal offering). My family just ate here today for lunch. This is a great place for eating a healthy lunch that does not weigh you down for the rest of the day. The ingredients tasted fresh with great flavor. The customer service is great & friendly. The place is well taken care of - neat and clean. Whole Foods & Pokeworks complement each other well - I'm so glad they're right next to each other. Mmmmm poké. I love it. It's kind of hard to mess this up unless you're not using fresh ingredients. The food here is good, worth the trip if you're craving some good fish. The downsides to this place is the size and the location. There is a small parking lot in the back but that is also shared with the customers of Pieology so most people have to park in the parking lot across the street and walk over. That's not a total deal breaker, but customers be aware. The inside of the restaurant is super small and there aren't very many tables so if you go during a busy time you might not find a place to sit and eat. One thing i did notice as I watched customers come in and order is that many of them would reach their arm OVER the glass that is intended to separate the customers from the various ingredients. People, you're possibly dropping whatever might be clinging to your arm or shirt or whatever into the food that people are going to put in their mouth so PLEASE respect the glass and don't put your arm over! But I digress. If you're into poké and you don't mind the drive to the west side, try it out! There are options in El Paso so if you don't like this spot, try the other ones in town! read more

Exceptional taste most of the time. The couple of times we've been there the ingredients have been fresh. The only real issue we had with the place was it's loud and it's hot inside. We usually take the food home because of this. The one thing that caught my attention one time was one of the servers was hot and sweaty and wiped the back of his hand, glove and all, on over his forehead making his glove sweat-filled, which frankly grossed me out. Thankfully he recognized his error and took off his glove and went elsewhere in the shop. Overall, still go there, still get food there, considering that this is El Paso, I'd say it's great to have some non-Mexican food options that taste great! read more

This is the first poke place I've come across in El Paso and it's pretty good. I would recommend going here for a quick and casual lunch or dinner. It's like going to Chipotle but with poke. The menu might seem small at a glance but the options are extensive. You can get as creative as you want. We opted for the spicy ahi tuna with brown rice and the scallops with noodles. The mix-ins completely change the taste of poke bowl, so get creative and mess around with new flavors. If you're looking for fresh seafood look elsewhere and expect to pay more. The taste is still good; it's just not as fresh and to be expected at a fast food restaurant. I give this place three stars because of the staff. They weren't very helpful at explaining to customers the ingredients, good at making the line move fast or keen on making recommendations. This was the first time I tried a poke bowl and it wasn't bad at all! It was never of interest to me until recently. I'm not really a seafood person. I'll eat it once in a great while but not that often. I created my own bowl with: brown rice, shrimp, chicken, mango and orange slices, cucumbers, garlic and some type of soy sauce. It had a sweet, tangy flavor. The sauce they included gave the entire bowl a good flavor. My boyfriend got a tofu bowl with some chile and it was also pretty good. He said it was really spicy. For me, it was just right. He said it reminded him of Thai food a lot. It reminded me of it also. I saw their menu on their web site before going. I knew I also had to try their mango pudding dessert or pineapple ice cream. I decided on their pineapple ice cream. It was tasty and juicy. The good thing is that it's dairy and gluten free. I don't know how many carbs it had but that's alright. I haven't been counting my daily carbs intake lately. When I come back, I'd like to try their mango dessert. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. I didn't think I'd get full from the meal but I did! It was about $37 for two poke bowls, drinks and the ice cream, which is an OK price imo. Door dash order. I love this place in the northeast or honestly any Pokeworks I have gone to. This one in particular was not the best. Ordered a large bowl half rice and salad. Whoever created my bowl just had lettuce in it and they put it under my rice . This place is didn't have the option of jalapeños put replace it with a chili. Not much portion of the tuna, spicy tuna or scallops I ordered. I don't think would order again or maybe I should drive to the location next time I'm in El Paso. read more
