Too much sauce. Disappointing. Had to remove the fish and toppings. We did not enjoy our food. This is the 2nd time this happened

Good poke, a bit pricy. Average bubble tea but I love bubble tea with poke. Not many seats but if the weather is good you can sit outside

    Customized Regular Poke Bowl

I was feeling poke today so I decided to stop by the Woodbury location. I got my usual customized poke bowl with white rice, salmon & tuna, assorted toppings, and spicy aioli and classic sauce. In my opinion, I think this is the best poke spot in the area and I always make sure to stop by this specific location. They took my order rather quickly, which I appreciated because they usually handle online orders before me. The ambiance was a bit empty today, but that's probably because I didn't stop by normal lunch or dinner time. Just a side note, make sure to not get the "heavy" option for sauce because mine was drenched and was more on the soupy side. Completely my fault though because I ordered that but didn't expect it to be like that. Get either the normal or light option. Anyways, I will be stopping by for more and will probably order something different. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Pokéworks is right near my job so i decided to give a whirl since I'm into poké and wow! The fish is so fresh and everything is well seasoned especially when you get their classic sauce. One thing that stood out was the selection of toppings, you can style your poké burrito/bowl to your heart's content. Very pleased with this poké and i'll be sure to come back.

Pretty good! Ordered from door dash. Quick and clean. I've been to many poke spots before but this one is delicious and the quantity of fish is fair. Will be back soon!

Garlic Spam Musubi, Poke Bowl - Regular (2 Proteins), Hot Miso Soup

(Ordered via UberEats) I love myself a good poke bowl. I saw the reviews and decided that I should give this place a shot for lunch. I got the poke your way combo and a garlic spam musubi. Miso Soup: Honestly...wasn't it for it. The flavor just wasn't there. It was hot still which was good but it was missing something and I couldn't put my finger on it. I would not order this specific item again. Garlic Spam Musubi: I should've ordered more. One was not enough to satisfy my love for these. Each bite was more flavorful than the last. Now I don't know why these hit so good but man the seasoning was amazing. Hands down one the best things I've eaten. I will probably just place an order for specifically this item. Poke bowl: Delicious and filling. I got the salmon and chicken and oof! Incredible! All the flavors just mixed so well and complimented each other. I was dancing at my desk after each bite. Nothing was too overpowering and the portions of protein were generous for a regular size. Definitely ordering this again! All in all I loved getting lunch from here and I definitely recommend giving it a shot! Definitely not interested in the miso soup though.

    Hawaiian Classic, perfecto!

Once again, Nassau county gets all the good spots! This is probably the best Poke I had in a long time, Pokeworks has the process down. Its the same concept as Chipotle, you start at one end and work your way down the line. I didn't want to get all loopy with the line items so I chose their speciality bowl, the Hawaiian Classic. First they ask for the base, White Rice or Brown. I like brown rice. Then in a separate bowl they take fresh ahi tuna and mix it up with green and sweet onions, some seaweed, a little cucumber, chili flakes, sesame seeds, roasted sesame oil, their pokeworks classic sauce and finally hawaiian salt. Once everything is married together? I'm given a bowl of Poke Love. Making my way down the line, my server asks what type of crunchy toppings I would like on my creation. They have 10 choices, it's a little overwhelming but I asked for Wonton Chips. Just say you didn't want a signature bowl? Easy Peasy! Pokeworks has bowls made your own way as well as a fat burrito or a simple salad. There are many protein choices, from Tuna, Tofu, Salmon, Scallops, Shrimp, Chicken and of course Ahi Tuna. There are lots of choices, Pokeworks offers the freshest ingredients to you and puts together something pretty special. I grabbed a Infused iced tea with my meal, everything was fresh and flavorful. Pokeworks? I choose you! Pokeworks is a great place for healthy and fresh food.

Eh. Eh was my impression from start to finish. To begin, I wasn't even greeted with a "hello" or a "welcome" the worker had a bowl ready for me to tell him what I wanted. A greeting would have been nice. The way it works.. You pick what you want. Bowl, sushiritto, salad and I believe one other thing. Pick your proteins and the toppings. I went with a bowl with brown rice. It's interesting how it's done here. The rice is in one bowl. Then your proteins and toppings in a other. Then everything from the second bowl gets poured onto what is in the first bowl. I don't see why. Just put everything in a bowl at once. It's more environmentally friendly. Stop wasting bowls. For my proteins I went with spicy salmon, spicy tuna and regular salmon. It was honestly just average. Nothing wowed me or wooed me. For my toppings I got cucumber, mango, seaweed salad and avocado. The toppings were fresh. It's an extra $1.50 for avocado. I understand avocado is extra, but I feel $1.50 is a little too extra for the amount that they give. I got their signature sauce as my choice of sauce and it was flavorless. On the side I got a chipotle sauce. It was basically a spicy mayo. For my bowl + avocado it was $18! That is overly pricey, and not even worth it. Seating is terrible too. There's two high tops, one long table, and then a high table against the window with a few chairs. Sorry Pokéworks, you don't work. Poké(doesn't)work.

Pokéworks is on the ISLAND! and... it's the best poke available on the island. This restaurant is like a Chipotle for sushi lovers. Choose your base, protein and toppings. Healthy, very fresh and so flavorful! The workers are friendly (even when I show up 10 minutes before they close). Pro tip- get the app! You get a $5 credit and there is a rewards program.

Very satisfied with the food! While we all know poké can never compare to an omakase's quality of fish, the quality was still very good! They have a good array of of Hawaiian drinks and the lychee and guava ones were pretty good. I've had musubi before, but wasn't much of a fan of the sweet sauce put on this one. I'm not too crazy about coconut that's usually in mango pudding, but this mango pudding was actually quite nice. Will definitely come back again!

This is a great spot for poke. The fish is fresh and they have a lot of options for toppings and mix ins. Pro tip: order through the app to pick up your food fast and rake up points for free poke down the line.

So yummy! Poke restaurants always makes me a bit stressed w. All the choices. Luckily the server was patient and my bowl was so delish. A pretty seating area in a nice shopping square.

I was visiting the area for work and was in the mood for a quick healthy dunch. Ordered through Yelp and drove to pick it up. Service was fantastic and they even let me use their restroom. Flavor was amazing, evenly balanced, fresh and delicious. The place was nicely kept and the restroom was clean. Can't complain! Thank you!

We ordered delivery (can't comment on the restaurant space of service) and it arrived hot and fresh. We tried the make your own poke bowl with salmon and tuna (you get to pick two which I really like), over white rice with edamame, cucumber, avocado, mango, sesame seeds, onion crisps, seaweed salad and the poke sauce (with a side of siracha aiolic) along with the two protein BBQ bowl with beef bulgogi and pork katsu, with cole slaw and mac and cheese over hawaiian fried rice with katsu sauce. The katsu was still crispy and while I don't normally care much for fried rice, the hawaiian fried rice was very good. The poke bowl was fresh with a good amount of fish and again, I loved all of the toppings and things that you can add for free (the avocado is extra). Both bowls were very tasty and good sized portions. Given the quality and quantity, the prices were very reasonable (especially compared to other poke places) and I would definitely order from here again.

None of the uncanny AI slop photos of the food ever resemble the actual slop actually being served out of some sketchy nondescript door. There's at least two other fake restaurants besides this one that I've caught operating out of this specific 5th Ave location ("Glazed Hen" Korean fried chicken is another one), but whichever group runs them always sets up the same slate of fake restaurants in the same buildings. 1140 Utica Ave in Brooklyn is another known physical location they operate this scam out of. In the meantime I need for y'all to be a bit smarter when you go on these apps. DoorDash usually labels ghost kitchen junk "virtual brand" in small print on the store page, but UberEats and the rest all lie. If it's a place with a weird name that you never heard of that's delivering at all hours and has a suspiciously high rating on the delivery apps compared to here on Yelp, despite having no internet presence to speak of (no social media) it's a huge red flag. Hawaiian Kitchen, based in Bethpage, absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli. If you're looking for reliable catering that people will actually get excited about, I can't recommend Hawaiian Kitchen enough. THANK YOU for making me look like a superstar! We will definitely be ordering again! PS - they are a small, family-owned business, and I love supporting businesses like that that really care. Give them a try!

There looked like a lot of mayonnaise present, but it was not too overpowerful as some type of sugar seemed to be incorporated to balance it out. Regardless of what it was, the salad was flavorful. I had heard of Lee's for years, and have always wanted to go. I was finally ready to make the trek from Queens to NJ, with 9 friends in tow. So I excitedly called to make a reservation. The conversation started out completely normal. He put me on hold (no biggie) to get the reservation book, asked me how many people, and the date. He then went into a list of "rules" they have for reservations. With each point, he was seething with annoyance. Like they're doing their customers a huge favor. But I didn't mind, I just wanted to make the reservation. $75 deposit. Fine. If we cancel for any reason they keep the deposit. Fine. It can be used as a credit if we come another day. Ok. He said a few other rules, and one stuck out to me that I didn't understand. He said "there's no reserved seating". As the point of my phone call was to make a - reservation - I asked to clarify, literally in the nicest tone. He immediately got annoyed at me, and said that they have upstairs and downstairs seating, and they can't guarantee either or. It was at this point I said to him, "I feel like you're upset with me and I'm not sure why." I then explained that I've never been there, but I'm a huge fan and have always wanted to visit, and that this would be for my birthday. I tried to give him a chance to reset and steer the conversation back to- at the very least a calm tone. Spoiler alert- didn't work. He then asks me what time I want. I say 6 PM. You would have thought I just asked him to give me the moon. He got very upset and went on a rant about how "people come, and then the music (he was referring to the karaoke) starts and then they leave." I told him we actually wanted the music, that I knew it started at 7:30 PM and was requesting 6 PM so that we had some time to talk before the karaoke began. He very angrily told me no, that I had to pick one or the other. That if I wanted music, it had to be a reservation after 7 PM- that I had to pick one or the other. And then went on another rant about "changing over the tables" and "they don't want people there til closing" and "how do I expect them to make money." Well for starters, you can provide basic customer service. It was at this point I thanked him for his time and said I didn't want to go there anymore. It's clear they have had various issues with prior customers. But I did not deserve to be treated like that. After hanging up, I was devasted. My birthday plans had crumbled in the span of a 7 minute phone call. Luckily I found another establishment more than happy to take my reservation- and my hard earned money.

I stopped into this fairly new, tiny, cute little restaurant…read more There is street parking and public parking lot only 1\2 block away. There are only a few seats lined up against the wall (bar style) and one table of 4. There is a piano too, and they have a sign saying they teach piano. As small as it is the menu is even smaller with maybe 10 food items. But they sell authentic Hawaiian coffees and special grains of Asian rice. Many choices of smoothies & juices as well. Them mango smoothie was a nice size and delicious! I ordered my food to go and had a very short ride so the good was still hot. We tried the Hawaiian Garlic shrimp. Small size was plenty as it had 7 shrimp over sticky rice with some mixed vegetables in a cheesy buttery sauce. It had nice flavor. Also tried was the Hawaiian Ahi Bowl ( poke) which had plenty of fresh tuna with same veggies. Again a small size was plenty. Lastly I tried the Musubi which is a slice of Spam on top of a bar of cooked sticky rice with seaweed paper around it to get it together. Hawaii has been the # consumer of Spam for many years so I had to give it a try. The salty, smokey flavor of the "meat" along with he sticky rice was a good combo, but the seaweed wrap just gave it a slight fishy taste I could do without. I would say to try U'I for a change up for when you are in the mood for Asian food.

very new Hawaiian restaurant that looks very promising. Went in one day and ordered spam masubi,…read moregarlic shrimp, and the combo dish that comes with shrimp and meat. Flavors were decent but a bit too overpriced in my opinion. Not enough shrimp and their side of veggies could be switched out to maybe fries or fried spam as this area has a lot of kids/teens. Their beef had a good flavor but was a bit dry. Shrimp was slightly mushy but had a good flavor. Overall the proportions to price did not match up and left me wanting more
