    Two scoop poke bowl
    Haylie T.

Poki Bomb is such an underrated spot. I visited for lunch on a weekday and the experience was great! The two scoops option is more than plenty and there are so many different fish option. I got the shoyu salmon and hawaiian tuna and they were both so fresh and delicious! They also have many yummy sauces and toppings to select from, no limits. Service was great and the restaurant was clean with plenty of indoor seatings. Parking is easy as its located inside a plaza thats not very busy. Will definitely come back to PokiBomb!

Great place for poke! Fresh meat and tons of toppings to choose from. Worth every penny.

I occasionally order from here, and it's always been pretty good. I think they increased the portions since the last time I came. They changed a two-scoop fish bowl into a full box which was pretty large. I loaded up on every topping, and they were quite generous with the portions. For the price, both the quality and quantity exceeded my expectations. Overall, it's a great spot to grab poke.

Came to this poke spot on a Saturday right when they opened, and I'm so glad we did because we beat the crowd. There was only one guy working behind the counter, but he handled everything really well and got everyone served quickly. The ingredients here are super fresh, and the fish quality is definitely some of the best I've had. The portions are huge, seriously such a great bang for your buck. You definitely get your money's worth. The place itself is very clean and quiet, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a great quality poke spot and absolutely worth checking out if you're in the area. Would definitely come back!

Love how generous the portions are and how affordable this poke spot is! Don't underestimate the small size ($13.95) since it comes with 2 scoops of protein (10 different kinds) and unlimited sauces and toppings. Medium size comes with 3 scoops of protein and is only $15.95 and Large size comes with 4 scoops of protein and is $17.95! Ordering is easy. There are 4 stations. - 1st station: pick a bowl size and a base (white/brown rice, salad, or half/half) - 2nd station: pick your protein - 3rd station: pick your sauces (8 options) - 4th station: pick your toppings (10+ options) Service was ok and fast! Really enjoyed how fresh the salmon was (I got 2 scoops of it!) and how much salmon they gave me! The salad was very fresh and the brown rice was delicious!

My favorite poke place in the 626 area, it's not traditional poke obviously but it's good quality, so many toppings to choose from, fairly priced and portions are extremely generous! So yummy. Ingredients are fresh. I love to get masago and edamame and lotssss of sauce. Also their gyoza is BOMBB, so underrated. I don't know if it's frozen or if they make it themselves but it's one of the best gyozas I've ever had. Also love the free miso soup offer on Postmates (however I found the miso soup to be a little too salty, it's free though so whatever lol).

I come here for lunch pretty often and the food is always fresh. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is the price but I understand everything is expensive nowadays. But a solid place for poke.

Medium (3 scoops) it seriously felt like a pound of food!!! They hook it up and it's soooo good

Oh my goodness this poke place is BOMB!!! Their name don't disappoint!!! Their selection of poke is special because they have the normal stuff (salmon, tuna, shrimp, albacore, scallops, etc) but they ALSO have shoyu salmon and Hawaiian spicy tuna!!! Get these they're really good. Their miso garlic sauce is also good. The best part is they HOOK IT UP. These workers were well deserving of their tip :) My new favorite poke spot!!!

Probably the best poki spot. They have all the classics along with some that I have never seen before. They give very generous portions at this spot and the price point is perfect. The food is always colorful and fresh. The staff here is friendly and helpful. When it was my first time coming here I was totally lost but the workers here definitely helped and explained. The ambiance here there is a lot of room and they always have good music playing here. It's clean and open fountain drink. Thanks poki bomb for the great service always !

Had the tea for the first time, it's sooo good

Great service and good !!!!I have my lunch here all the time ! I miss the ramen but the bowls are great size

Best poke around town! The staff is always so nice and respectful. Everything is so fresh and tasty!

If you're craving poke, this is the place to be. We have been coming to this restaurant over the past few years and I would say this is our go to poke place. Located in a plaza next to a bunch of corporate buildings may make it a little harder to get to, but once you get there, it is well worth it. There is also plenty of parking within the plaza. We usually get the poke bowl with three scoops of protein. In the past, these poke bowls were prepared in a plastic bowl with all of the ingredients packed together. There was nothing wrong with that, as they were always very generous with their portions. However, I noticed that they now prepare their poke bowls in a box. I'm sure the portions are still the same, but since it's in a box now, it looks like there is a bit more. For my three scoop protein, I got two scoops of salmon and one scoop of spicy tuna with white rice. You can select up to eight sauces and 17 toppings. . For a sauces, I got ponzu, eel, spicy, spicy mayo, sesame mayo, and sesame oil. For toppings, I got cucumber, edamame, imitation crap, seaweed salad, green onions, corn, fried onions, wasabi, jalapeño, shishimi (Japanese chili spice), sesame seed, and furikake (seaweed flakes). My wife got two scoops of salmon and one scoop of spicy Hawaiian tuna with brown rice. The spicy Hawaiian tuna had extra flavor and was very delicious, as it reminded me of the poke from Foodlands in Hawaii. For sauces, my wife got ponzu, eel, as spicy mayo. For toppings, she got cucumber, edamame, imitation crab, ginger, seaweed salad, corn, wasabi, masago (fish eggs), and furikake. As you can tell from both of our orders, you have a lot of options to customize your bowl to your liking. We both enjoyed our bowls very much and we would definitely return!

Large portions of fish and toppings! I was in the area and scrolling on Yelp when I stumbled on Poki Bomb. It's located off the 10 Fwy on Flair Dr next to the Tofu Cafe. Parking was easy to find! They have a few spot right in front of their storefront and it wasn't hard to find parking since I did come an hour before closing. Walking in, you're greeted with the menu options and prices displayed on the TV right above the counter. Everything is customizable when it comes to your base, fish, toppings, and sauces. I purchased a small (2 scoops of protein), brown rice, regular imitation crab meat, eel sauce and non spicy house sauce. They have a wide range of toppings available and everything tasted very fresh. I hate the fishy taste in poke but this place didn't have that at all. There's a fair amount of fish and the toppings you add can help make you more full! The total for my entire meal was $~17 which is not too bad considering the sizes. Definitely will be coming back!

This place has some items that are amazing and other ones that you can just do without…read more I came here for Dine La for lunch and here's what I felt about their menu. First off, the takoyaki octopus balls were full of flavor. I feel that this place does them really well. You don't feel overwhelmed by any seafood tastes and instead, you get well balanced flavor throughout every bite with the combination of the ball itself, the sauces and the flakes on top. Next is the omurice. The egg is cooked to perfection and tastes absolutely amazing. The curry, however, which was recommended by the waiter over the Demi glaze, tasted exactly like the Vermont curry cube you get in the grocery store, so I'm not sure why he recommended that over the Demi glaze. The fried rice within the omurice was alright too. Originally, I wanted to get the tonkatsu omurice but got it on the side as the choice wasn't available for the lunch menu. I would suggest doing without the tonkatsu because it was dry and there's a million and one places that can do tonkatsu better than this place. Honestly, I wish I had the opportunity to cut the omurice myself and choose how much curry I put on it, but the staff did that instead, which I guess made for a good video, but took away from my innate desires to cut the egg on my own haha. Next, the ramen tasted pretty basic like what you could get at any ramen shop. For the chicken wings, I've never had chicken wings in this flavor. They were really really good and I would definitely recommend the wings. For the desserts, I enjoyed both the matcha and the snow globe. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, however. The snow globe is a gelatin and it doesn't really have too much flavor until you get to the parts with the flower. Plus the little clear balls have a nice flavor and texture. For the matcha, it has an interesting texture and then an interestingly light, yet deep matcha flavor. Oh the drinks. The Thai tea tastes exactly like how it does everywhere else. The amazing lemonade is a lemonade with a few slight modifications, like with cucumber and maybe some other things as well. For the service, it's pretty good here. Everyone is pretty attentive. There are three things at the table, such as cayenne pepper and two other bowls you can add to your dishes to add flavor. I forgot the name of the one I liked but it looked kind of like pork floss or loose tea, and that one had a lot of flavor. I think what's most appealing about this place is the ambiance because you can like sit in a honeycomb, there's fancy designs everywhere and you feel like you're in a different place. I think it's a good restaurant but it's kind of weird how some things here are amazing and some are just okay.

The restaurant tends to stay pretty busy, so a little patience goes a long way. Luckily, there are TVs to keep you entertained while you wait. The ambiance has a modern Chinese aesthetic with tasteful décor that gives the space a cozy, welcoming vibe. There's also plenty of parking, and it's conveniently located near other shops if you feel like strolling around after your meal. The dinner sets are reasonably priced for the average appetite. Well that was ages ago and it wasn't until now that I was able to visit and try out their delicious katsu, which hands down, is super good! I went during National Library Card Month. During the month of September, the city of Monterey Park is running a special where if you have a MPK library card, you can get deals and freebies from businesses and you can get an iced or green tea from Kagura if you show them your library card. I got a cold canned green tea, added to a cup of ice, refreshing and great with the delicious katsu that I got. I did a walk in for a slightly later lunch after dropping by Asayoru Maid Cafe across the street for a drink during their morning Asa shift. I went on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Staff is very friendly and checked up on me several times. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's simple and elegant in it's own way. No extra frills or bells and whistles. There were a couple other tables dining there and pick up orders too, so I can imagine it'd be busy during the weekends and lunch/dinner rushes. They have a paper wait list outside for those times. Limited parking in front of the plaza, but there's a parking structure next door. For my lunch, I got their demi glace loin katsu. It comes with miso soup, a side of rice, huge helping of cabbage salad with dressing, hot mustard, and some small sides of a sweet carrot salad, cucumber pickles, and 2 pieces of potatoes. Each side added a nice balance to flavor. I mention this in some reviews and to my friends that usually you get full because you get tired of the same flavor and texture all of the time, so I really enjoyed the small bites of crunchy texture from sweet, sour, and savory. The katsu is really where Kagura shines, as it's what they're known for. Super moist pork katsu meat inside, deliciously tender delicate layers of meat. The crisp of the breading outside isn't too greasy, but has the perfect level of indulgent oiliness that balances out. All perfect with a fluffy bed of rice and the demi glace brown sauce added a deliciously savory, slightly sort of fruity ketchup-y flavor (added this to my rice too!). Definitely want to come back to try more of their menu!
