It was crowded at lunch in an area that is packed with lunch options, which is a good sign. Cons: the spicy tuna and spicy salmon are not actually spicy.The only things somewhat spicy were the jalapeno and the sauce I got (lajama). Also, I ordered online and chose a pickup time of an hour later, but my order was ready 3 minutes after I ordered it. So if you're going to order online, be ready to pick up. They are pretty generous with the toppings and ingredients are fresh. There's limited parallel parking on the street but there's multiple parking garages for the shopping area. I'll most definitely be back, though this seems like more of a bubble tea place than a food place since I had to scan the whole menu in order to find the food at the very bottom, but my 3 protein Poke bowl as delicious, as was my milk tea with boba that I have been getting quite a lot lately as I discover how delicious it is! They had no idea that I had been in 15-20 minutes ago to pick up my food, but they didn't care that I was just coming in to use the restroom. That's a mark of a good business, especially since we are technically still in the middle of a pandemic. I highly recommend a visit here. Especially if you are a bubble tea connoisseur. Personally I'd prefer their spicy tuna and salmon was not blended (I prefer the natural texture of a "chunky" style cut), but either way the taste is great. Also love that you can find less common adds and sauces (wasabi! yay!). Only real complaint is that portion size on the protein is a bit small - but it's rare to find anyone that's generous these days. Friendly staff too. It was the first time in a very long time I've had leftovers to take home (especially for poke)! The spicy salmon didn't come in diced form, so I elected not to order that. I appreciated that the seaweed salad and krab salad did not cost extra, and I got both. I enjoyed the sauces that I put on my bowl, but I wish there had been a wider range of options. My mother got the grilled salmon bowl and mentioned that her salmon was slightly overcooked. She also said the mango topping was not super ripe. While the strawberry creme brulee was good, it did taste a lot like they added some nesquik strawberry flavoring into it. The creme brulee itself was very good, but a tad salty if anything. The strawberry boba was pretty good but the white boba didn't really taste anything. However, I was able to visit this new location because I work in such close proximity and I have to say everything was excellent! I felt a very home-y vibe from this location, and was met with warm greetings from the staff. The tea (as usual from Gong Cha) tasted extremely fresh. I also had the opportunity to visit Poki DC which is available in the same store. I ordered 2 proteins - the salmon and the spicy tuna (classic). Compared to the other Poki DCs I had been to in Maryland, the fish here tasted of a higher quality. The rice tasted like it was made extremely recently, which I find impressive for it to be midday. We did pickup from this spot in the Boro, and I was impressed. Really love that the teas are completely customizable, including level of sweetness and % ice. My kids loved adding the extra-cool toppings like coconut jelly, etc. Poke bowl also delicious and so fresh. Tons of really great options.
