I've gotten Lei'd multiple times before and it's quite good poke. Parking is shared among a couple of other stores, one including their sister restaurant Teas'n You, which you can double and get poke and bubble tea without driving to a different location. Parking lot can be packed, but for the most park, it wasn't too bad. Inside they had three kiosk machines and someone behind the counter to help take orders. I had a giftcard and it was relatively easy to use at the kiosk. The poke pockets are a cute addition to their menu. The Poke Pockets are pretty small comparatively to the bowl for $9.95 compared to a bowl being around $16. They were good though. I like the sweet tofu wrap and they did stuff them well with poke and rice. As you can see though, the pocket is roughly the size of the palm of my hand. It did feel like a good amount of fish in every bite, it was just two-three bites though. It'd be nice if it was three or four instead of two. I like their bowls, they are a decent size, though it looked like some of their specialty bowls include cooked fish. The ingredients taste fresh and flavorful, and even though I like to keep ordering salmon and tuna I like to mix up the different marinade flavors. I also really appreciate the points system that the hospitality group offers. I believe group also runs Teas'n You, Chasin' Tails, and Roll Play. So when you order from any of these places, you can apply those points to any of their other spots. Leid Poke was not our favorite local poke place. The space is open and pleasant with multiple long tables. If there aren't too many people eating, that is fine. If it is crowded, you may find you need to share a table with another party which may or may not bother you. The problem we had started with the ordering system which is done by kiosk and was not very user friendly. I was surprised that no one behind the counter, seeing our confusion and discussion of how we were having a little trouble figuring things out offered to help out. So we kept going from screen to screen and then back again. Argh. I have definitely found at some places that this aspect of self serve is not at all a time saver. It is annoying and takes up more time. The staff was friendly when they brought our order to the table, but I would have much preferred more help at the counter. Having finally figured out the system we had ordered the chef curated classic ahi. When we got our lunch, it seemed a smaller bowl for a higher price then the other poke spots we frequent. This too was a disappointment. We also didn't enjoy the taste as much. So, all in all, we will be sticking with Pokeworks instead. Leid poke has a relationship with teasnyou next door. I came to Lei'd Poke to pickup some takeout on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is not an issue, the parking lot is shared by a handful of retailers. I can take my time looking over the menu without worrying about holding up the line since there are multiple screens. The poke bowl I order was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and the sauces were flavorful. I really liked the Wasabi Cilantro drizzle, it had just the right amount of spice without being too much. Since we were one of the first customers we saw staff prepping alot of ingredients for the day. They were cutting up veggies fresh for the day. I ordered a large spicy salmon bowl with added masago, totaling $20. When my order arrived, I was taken aback by the small size of the bowl given the price. The portion of salmon and masago was disappointingly minimal, almost nonexistent. Instead, the bowl was filled with a disproportionate amount of tomato and jalapeño, which was unexpected and a bit off-putting. While the flavor of the bowl was good, the overall portion size was quite small and didn't justify the high price. In summary, the taste was satisfactory, but the portion size was a letdown. I have been here once in 2019 and visited again recently this past Friday afternoon for the second time. Both times, my experience have been average. My friend who I ate with recently enjoyed her experience, so maybe it's just a miss for me? I personally would recommend getting one of their Signature Bowls instead of customizing. BYO POKE BOWL (MEDIUM BOWL) - 14.40 Two scoops of protein for the medium bowl, so I got both salmons with the classic shoyu and honey miso marinades. For the base, I got a mix of mixed greens and white sushi rice (they do not have brown rice option here, I think). A few of my go-to add-ons are premium options here (which means you have to pay more) such as crab salad and masago. I ended up paying +0.95 for masago and got green onions, seaweed salad, edamame, shredded nori, house furikake, crispy garlic (maybe) and toasted sesame seeds. I personally would not recommend more than 1 scoop of seaweed salad, as it is pretty saucy and strong. I did get a couple sauces on the side (spicy sriracha aioli and reamy roasted sesame) but didn't use them because the seaweed salad and marinades on the fish was more than enough for me. Overall, I thought it was OK. Some of the salmon had a "gummy" or "gooey" ish texture. Not sure if that meant it was too cold or something else. The toppings were OK/standard. Nothing amazing. I wish I got all white rice to cushion the amount of sauce from all the toppings and marinade. Overall, Lei'd Poke is more expensive than other poke places I go to in the area.
