I came in for the first time and selected the $55 pedicure with the charcoal & paraffin wax. They asked me what color and I asked for the French pedi which is white and pink. They didn't say anything additional and completed like normal. Great tech that gave a great foot and leg massage and good pedi all around. However, when I'm at the counter ready to pay expecting $55 they informed me that my total is $75. I said, "$75, for what exactly?" Apparently the French pedi costs another $20 but they didn't even inform me of the $20 up charge or give me the choice to say yes or no. I paid the $75 and became immediately frustrated for the lack of communication and all of a sudden my good pedi became mediocre because I feel like I was taken advantage of. Therefore, I will never return. read more

My tween daughter went to Polish Ne Pretty today with a friend to get a manicure and they took full advantage of a young girl. She wanted to try SNS but keep in mind her nails are very short. They tried to put tips on her to go with the SNS and she repeatedly declined that. Then they told her she needed extra help with her cuticles. Every manicure I have ever received they have always included cleaning the cuticles as part of the service. Well today, Polish Me Pretty charged her for cleaning her cuticles. So to clean the cuticles and dip very short nails that barely needed to be filed in SNS they charged her $50?!?! I am a loyal client at Tips to Toes and my daughter will never be allowed to go back to Polish Me Pretty. Complete rip off!! read more

Came in on a Sunday afternoon while every salon around had lines out of the door. I waited about 30 minutes before my fill-in and was finished probably 35 minutes after that. I appreciated I wasn't there 2 hours like other salons. The only reason I'm giving this salon 3 stars is because the colors are not organized and the shade range is subpar. There are 2 baskets (one gel and one SNS) with the fake nails that you have to shuffle through and the selection is sparse, unlike other salons where there are walls and books of colors. I picked out one color from the basket and they couldn't find it because the colors behind the counter aren't organized either. My service was good, but due to the lack of colors and sparse options, I probably won't be back. read more

I had a horrible experience getting my nails done last night. I went in for a pedicure, fill in and a design. When I went in they told me the wait wouldn't be long. I waited in the pedicure bowl for 1 hour before someone finally came over. Then I showed the nail tech the design I wanted and she completely ignored the picture I showed her so I said just paint them all white. She was rushing so instead of removing what she messed up, she painted over it . It hasn't even been 24 hours and they've already started peeling. They were not busy at all and still took very long. Went with a friend and they did not listen to what she wanted at all (shape and design). I am not one to post negative reviews but I'm very upset with my nails. The tips are not correctly on my nails and never once have I seen a salon out gel top coat on sns EVER. I've been to just about every nail salon in Greensboro and I never commit to a place because there is usually something that rubs me the wrong way. This salon may be the first exception. The salon is decorated very nicely with modern decor and equipment. I love that there is a receptionist who is dedicated to the front desk and there is no one hollering at you from across the salon about how they can help you then hollering to someone else to start prepping for a new customer. I wanted a pedicure and the very polite receptionist provided me a menu of services with a variety of pedicure options. I decided to treat myself and go with the detox pedicure with paraffin for $45. The basic was $25. They had a wide variety of polish options. I also observed a wide variety of powder colors as well. No one rushed me as I picked out my polish (I'm indecisive y'all). I was offered a selection of beverages as I sat down which is always nice. Now to the pedicure...the tub was lined with plastic! Hallelujah for sanitation! The water was a bit colder than I like but I could have easily asked to have it warmed and eventually did. The young lady who did my pedicure was meticulous...she did not rush, she took her time and I felt like I got what I paid for. The detox pedicure consisted of: nail shaping, cuticle cleaning, clipping, and moisturizing, a scrub, pumice for calluses, a detox additive to the water, a leg mask, paraffin, moisturizer, warm towels, and a hot stone massage (I'm forgetting something). It was great pampering. I was impressed with the tech's standard of quality (didn't catch her name). My toes have never looked better. A couple notes about the pedicure chair...it was pretty fancy. The massage function was high quality. You know how some chairs hurt as the massage function digs into your back unnaturally? Not this one! Also, there is a hook to place your bag and a cup holder for your beverage. But most importantly, y'all know that annoying moment when you have to hold your leg up while the technician exfoliates the bottom of your feet? Not here! The chair converts into a stand that you can rest your leg on while the technician completes her work. Y'all, this alone is enough to make me come back! I've not seen it in any other salon I've been too. I saw some other reviews mention that the staff was rude or didn't talk to them. I personally did not find this to be the case. The ladies doing pedicures were quiet (not rude), they spoke when needed and they did so courteously and professionally. I personally do not want to talk when I'm getting my nails done. It's laborious. I want to relax so I appreciated the limited small talk. Other nail techs in the salon were more talkative and social. You have to remember, people have different personalities...everybody doesn't want to talk or be talked too. Anyway, I'll be back! read more

I was looking for a nail salon that was reasonable in prices, and I found just that here. When I arrived I was greeted and sat down immediately. I came in for a gel mani/pedi. While I was getting my gel polish off my feet the lady started my mani. My mani was done very quickly and fast. The lady who did my pedicure did so good. I'm never really satisfied with my pedicures due to have dead skin on my feet. She ensured that my feet were soft as butter, and as much dead skin as she could was off. I didn't mind being there as long as I was due to how well she was doing my pedicure. Absolutely satisfied. I only gave four starts because my polish is a little messy on certain toes but it is not noticeable. Overall, I will be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for about three months now, and this place is definitely a FIVE from me. I am extremely picky about nail salons when it comes to cleanliness, atmosphere, etc. and this place meets all of my expectations. I've had almost every nail tech here and all of them do a really good job, they take their time, never make you feel rushed and you can tell they have experience. I have had both SNS and gel here and both look great and isn't too thick but still holds up very well. The pedicures are also great (probably my favorite service I receive here) and the massage chairs are WONDERFUL. Every time I've been here I am literally here hours. The salon has a great atmosphere and the people are really sweet but I haven't been in a while because I go in and usually with my luck they're are short staffed and then we wait not sitting in the "lobby" they'll sit me in the pedi chair but by the time they get started my water is cold. It's happened more than once. Even with that, they still do a good job and I still give them 4 stars and still may go back every now and then they're right behind my house. Lol read more

I loved this place. My first time here. Liam at the reception is very helpful and friendly. Got mani- pedi combo and eyebrow waxing. Sue was amazing. Their regular pedicure includes a hot stone treatment as well! She took her time and paid attention to details. Customer service was great. They were not inquisitive or pushy at all. They offer you water or soda. The place looks really good, clean, and the interior decor is modern. I am so disappointed in this salon. 'Tracy', the owner, is truly rude and money hungry and has absolutely zero customer service skills. She really made me feel like they were the best salon in town, but then after the 4th set of acrylic gel nails( at 65 a piece for a fill in) POPPED RIGHT OFF after two days, I Decided to finally ask on the last time if she could simply redo the three nails that had popped off and she gladly said yes. I went in to get them done and she had another girl fix my broken nails, no problem, but after she was done, I was about to tip the new girl that had fixed my nails, I was about to walk out, said thank you and then Tracy stopped me and said I owed 21 more dollars! I was shocked!!! She said I had to pay it for the other girls time but OMG, I was just devastated. It hurt more than it pissed me off. I asked if she would rather my extra 21 bucks, ;which would make my fill in 86 damn dollars!) or if she wanted me and my friends continued business and she said she'd rather have the money to pay her staff! WOW. I will not step foot in there again, not just because the nails pop off faster than fake press on nails, but because of the terrible customer service provided by the owner. read more

I came here just to get a pedicure and i asked the main lady in the front how long it would take, and she refused to tell me and just said "it won't be very long, one of the girls is almost done" even when i asked for a time frame she just said it wouldn't be long. so i sat in the chair, with no water so i was sitting sideways with my feet to the side waiting and the girl who was supposed to help me, started working on someone else who came in after me. after waiting for 30 min i just left and no one offered me help or anything. if she would have just been honest told me it would've been a longer wait instead of just trying to get me in a chair, i would've left and gone somewhere else. now i'm just frustrated and it's too late to find another place close enough. i definitely will not be coming back to a place who values money over being honest and considerate of people's time. it wasn't even busy. read more
