Came here when my normal salon was closed and I was in a pinch for a set that week. Well its been about 3 weeks since I got my nails done here and they currently are all broken off, polish free with only strengthener on them. She filed the living sh** out of my natural nail bed and when I told her ITS HOT and kept pulling my hand away she kept saying 'its okay'. ITS NOT OKAY - MY NAILS ARE F***ED UP!!!! I literally have to wait for my entire nail bed to regrow bc she managed to give me hot spots on every single nail and they are continually breaking off because they're weak. I WANT TO CRY EVERY DAY. I went back though, because of the good prices and convenient location for me. I'm glad I did. Only knocked off a star because I wish they had more colors and because their strong point is definitely not delicate-looking nail art - it's great for French tips, bold and glossy acrylic sets, and gel manis, but ask them to draw a flower and hold on to your hat because it might get weird.

Recently in the last year, I wanted to start getting my nails done at places that were smaller and more personalized, and this is as personalized and private as it gets! When we first walked in, Lucy made us feel very welcomed and at ease. You are the only person there and all the attention is focused on you. Lucy was so accommodating that she let my mom and I come in together and hang out with each other. Lucy is very funny and keeps the conversation going. Her attention to detail is amazing, as I was getting a more complicated design. She has a lot of patience and wanted to get the design just right and make sure I was happy without rushing. You can tell that she really enjoys what she's doing through her work. I already booked my refill with the same nail design even before I left Lucy's place for a refill for for my gel-x tips and design. Elise Hamilton is one of the best in her field! She has been my cutter (is that even a a salon…read moreterm?!) and colorist for well over a decade now and i have followed her religiously throughout the Pioneer Valley. She's very hip and does an amazing job w/short edgy cuts. If you want to get risky with a cut and color she's happy to take you there. (While still making you and your hair look great!) What makes her such a pro is that she listens to what the client wants while taking into consideration their features and lifestyle and what would work best for them. She works hard to incorporate all of these elements into your cut/ color b/c Elise knows giving an amazing haircut is only half the battle. She understands the real challenge is making the cut easy for the client to maintain and looking good once they walk out the door. This is what makes Elise such a stand out in her field and invaluable stylist.
