Yes, I bought a black truck. Yes, the amount of dust and dirt that showed on it for the first few weeks I had it drove me CRAZY, and I was super paranoid about getting rock chips in my paint. Problem solved. I found Polished Protection through word of mouth and then I watched all of their YouTube videos. Sold. I got the paint correction done to remove all of the tiny swirl marks from when the dealer "detailed" my vehicle. I also got the full front end clear bra to protect from rock chips and the gold package ceramic coating to make keeping my truck clean super easy. After tons of research on ceramic coating, I found Polished Protection and I'm so glad I did. It's always a bit nerve-wracking letting strangers work on your car, especially when its brand new, but PP handled the entire process with crystal clear communications and I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone in the Socal area looking to get a ceramic coating or window tinting. I did not get the PPF so I cannot speak to that. Came here and purchased the Ceramic Pro silver package + 2 step paint correction. Lily & Felipe were both so friendly, helpful, clear communication throughout the whole process and explained everything from start to finish. Even on their website, there are resources to help you understand exactly what you are paying for, compared to other shops where you feel like you're going in a little blind. Price is definitely not on the cheap end of the spectrum but honestly very reasonable for the quality of the work/experience I've received. Obviously we'd all love to save money but there's no point cheaping out if you care about getting quality work done on your new car. The only "wish" I have is that after dropping off the vehicle, PP could offer some kind of shuttle service/uber to take me home. But then again, that's just wishful thinking.. They used to treat me well, at least the staff did. I accepted any excuse they had whenever they have shortcoming on schedule with their quality of work as they will always try to fix minor stuff. Within those times I probably came back like once on my M2 when it showed bubbling on the windshield tint they did and they fix that, no problem. I brought three cars to them in probably the past 5 years. A Type-R, G87 M2 and the latest our Tesla Y for a full Xpel PPF. Never met the owner Nick until now but boy he sure made me felt stupid leaving that place. Anyway, I thought his installer did a terrible job on the edges of our bumper. There are no folds at all on the bumper and it showed uneven cut lines along the edges. I thought it looks terrible and wanted them to redo it. I already noticed it the first day I picked it up and there reasoning at the time was its Tesla's body manufacturing that's defective, I was like oh okay. Then I saw other friends Teslas with Expel PPF. There Y bumpers edges look great. They told me there installers take the bumpers off and have folds around them so it looks clean. I told PP about it and come to find out they say they don't take bumpers off and PPF is pre-cut so that's why. I was like shouldn't there be a little bit of material beyond the edge to allow a fold and compensate as mine looks like it was cut manually on the edge that's why it does not look clean and uneven. And what I got from Nick was pretty much a sermon about how they work things and that I don't know what I'm talking about. He goes on and on about bumpers vibrating and that if they do it certain ways I will be coming back because I'll be asking for them to fix it???? He even accused me of talking too much and not allowing him to talk when it was actually the opposite which I thought was quite amusing. I'm not a confrontational guy and I knew that conversation had no where to go so I knew I was not getting it fixed so it was time for me to step out. I guess that's the end of my business relationship with them. So, I don't know Nick too well, I don't want to judge but I know that's not how you should deal with your customers, maybe he just had a bad day. He says the quality install of the bumper looks great but I say otherwise. I posted a few photos for you future customers and be the judge, if you like the quality give them your business if you think not at least you have options to go somewhere else. read more

My husband had our E350 van windows tinted. We like to do road trips and go camping so it's important to us to be protected from weather. As well, when our van is loaded we like the darker tint around the back so our belongings are more secure. About 20 years ago, my husband had an average tint done on the back windows by some other company. Then 5 years ago he went to Polished Protection when they were in Signal Hill and had Crystalline (clear) applied to the driver and passenger windows, as well as the windshield, and that was a game changer. Unfortunately, we got a windshield crack from road debris and had to replace the windshield. My husband had the installer add a clear tint to the windshield when installing. That tint only lasted a couple years, which brings us to this review. My husband took his van back to Polished Protection, now in HB, and had them do all the windows. We went with a newer, top of the line product called Kavaca. Felipe was our main contact and made the whole process smooth. Nic, the owner, was great and made sure we were satisfied with the job. So glad I was recommended this place (shout out to Erik from Auto Madness) because they really came thru with an affordable & amazing job on the Xpel clear bra. I paid about $1,800 for Premium Xpel Clear Bra/PPF which covers the entire front of the car plus the mirrors. It does have 10 year warranty if there's any bubbling, cracking or fading. I ended up coming back to have my front bumper redone, because debris on the road split open my clear bra. Felipe reviewed my car & noticed a small crack where the clear bra was split & recommended I get the bumper fixed before they reapplied a new clear bra--I really appreciate his honesty and feedback. Everything ended up coming out beautiful, bumper is fixed (by Horns Collision Center) & now the xpel clear bra reapplied by Polished Protection. We initially brought my girl's new '23 TLX Type S to get the car enhanced with a 1 stage polish and PPF around the body of the car minus the trunk and roof as well as ceramic coating. They had an awesome discount for the Memorial holiday and thoroughly talked to me about the details of what I wanted done. The TLX-S looked amazing, better than new at the dealership. I wanted to also get my '16 Accord Coupe's paint corrected since the previous owner didn't take the best care of it and Polished Protection provided me a multi-car discount which made me go through with getting their package for a 2 stage paint correction and ceramic coating. I also added PPF to the full front end to avoid getting additional rock chips. The Accord went from looking kinda dulled to an amazing glossy shine. Totally worth getting it corrected and enhanced!
