Polished to perfection is a hit or miss and today, they were a huge miss. I've been coming here for the last year and a half-- always choosing the same dip color. However, today when looking at the dip itself I felt that the pigment of the dip was darker than usual. I asked the technician and owner, Kim, if Kiarra Sky changed their formula for #93. She assured me they didn't even though I had speculations. Kim did not cut or file my nails prior to application. I had to ask for my cuticles to be cut. The color on my nails does not match the same regular gel polish color nor do the same of my nails look good. I will be calling today to have my nails redone as I am extremely unsatisfied with my experience that was not worth the $82 that I paid. read more

I got my nails done about a week ago. I did dip and they are already peeling and have turned this ugly yellow ish color. The service was okay they flew through my dip and didn't really take there time eventually cutting my finger. They also did a top coat of gel on top of my dip and I have never seen that and I think that is contributing to why my nails are peeling already and yellow. If you go here maybe go for just a pedicure but I'm not even sure I recommend that because I spent $100 on a crappy manicure and half decent pedicure. read more

Me and my friend went to this nail salon since the one we wanted to go to didn't have any space to take us today and unfortunate for us, this place had time to take us both. We both were in need of a full set and my friend went to a lady and I had a male. We were excited to pick out nail colors and then they took us to our spots. I was very excited to get my nails filled and it seemed as though that the guy knew exactly what he was doing, but I was way wrong. I wanted an almond shape; but he made them into claws, so I asked if he could lessen the claw-like to them and tried, but did not happen.... it took almost an hour and a half to just get me and my friends nails filed, buffed, etc.... not even painted. Once I looked at the final result of my nails I was more than bummed.... the nails were lopsided, the texture was wavy, and in the sunlight the black color was a deep navy blue....paid $30 for a fill.. My friend got a full set, wanted almond shape as well with a jewel on top of each nail. The lady kept cutting the length of the nails when my friend specifically asked to keep them long, added red (when she said just gold), filed her pinky lopsided, and the ring finger was seriously crooked...paid $50 + $15 tip. My friend refused to even have me take a photo of her nails because she was so embarrassed. Both our black nails are a deep navy in the sunlight, nails are lopsided and the texture is bumpy.... Keep your money and go somewhere else!!!! I mean it..... the lady also kept dissing my previous nails and claimed mine were going to come out better there.... what a waste of money and TWO hours we spent there.... horrible... Love this salon. I get the dip powder manicure and I am obsessed! It lasts 3-4 weeks. The staff are super friendly and the salon is spotless. There can be longer waits for walk-ins so I would recommend making an appointment. I have seen a number of the nails techs and they are all great. read more

I've gone here 2 times for a full-set and filled with Jen, and both times my nails look so nice ! My acrylic wasn't lumpy, but nice & thin the way I liked it to be and the job was perfect ! The salon is located in a small plaza next to a smoke shop with plenty parking spots. It is also clean and spacious with about 7 technicians working . Usually on the weekends they have a receptionist to make sure the salon flows smoothly as it can be superrr busy ! The place takes credit cards but you can't tip on cards so make sure to bring cash for tips ! I live in Boston and would drive 35 minute to get my nails done by Jen ! Both times I got gel manicures and they chipped within days (nothing different on my end, I've had gel manicures last much longer from other places). The nail tech next to me was talking to her client who was getting dip about how bad gel is for you because of all the chemicals and what not as I'm sitting right next to them clearly getting a gel manicure! Came in as a walk in so I did expect to wait a bit however you would think they would tell you it's going to be over an hour to be seen! Walked in at 11:23am asked for a manicure; told to pick a color. Sat down and watched 2 other walk ins come in and get taken while I just sat there. Was trying to be nice and finally asked at 12:38 how much longer. The young girl replied "what did you want again?" "It's going to be a little longer" um ok. How much longer ??? They won't give you a time frame and they don't even ask your name. Worst run nail salon in the south shore area. I can see why they have similar crappy reviews. I walked out. I'll never return here. Went twice for gel polish-it was okay-not fantastic, but solid. The third time, without asking or telling me it was more than twice the price, the technician used a 'dip' instead of gel polish. It WRECKED my nails. Went back to have it fixed, & after moving me from one station to another around the salon, they filed my nails way too far down (I asked each of the 3 different techs to try to save the length), didn't put a top coat on or do any of the usual finishing stuff-not even hand lotion. I left with SUPER short nails & super dry hands. I may be just one lost customer for this place, but I doubt I'll be the last. Next time, I'll wait for an appointment at a decent salon. DON'T. Had a set of dip powder nails done here. I have to say the worst nail job I have ever had. Top coat was peeling off by the time I got home. By the next day all the top coat had peeled off. 2 days later two nails chip , next day another chipped. Almost 2 weeks later and all but 3 nails have chipped. She had to step away for a bit to do an eyebrow wax which did take longer than expected but I didn't mind as she was very apologetic. I had a gel manicure and I love the color! My patience with this place has been pushed to it's limits. EVERY time I make an apt I wait 30-45 minutes to be helped. I make an appointment for a reason and don't expect walk-ins to be taken at this time. Today I had an apt at 5:45 which I made a courtesy call to explain traffic is bad and I will be more like 5:55. Once I was seated I waited another 10 minutes while the lady I had took waxes after I was already seated. i've gotten my nails done here, and they came out pretty good, only issue is one came off within a week of getting the on which sucks.. but ‍. the bad review is for my friend. she got her nails done here and i'm not even exaggerating, she has an infection on every single one of her fingers. the people who work here insist it's because she's allergic to acrylic powder but she always gets acrylics everywhere else and she's fine. the doctors have confirmed she's not allergic to acrylic powder, and that it's because they use unsanitary equipment and stuff like that. hahaha now everyone in my school calls it "polished to infection" read more

This place has such potential, it is clean, nicely furnished, and the employees care about doing a good job. There's no doubt they do an amazing job at nails... however they do not honor appointments at ALL. Normally if you go to a nail salon now you have to make an appointment so that you don't wait an hour. I went here, got here a few minutes before my scheduled appointment time, waited an HOUR, finally got seated, and then waited another 10 minutes for someone to come over.
