    Almond cookie

Will definitely be ordering again. I ordered half a chicken, potato wedges, and almond cookie. Everything was great. Def recommend the bone broth and garlic aioli as sauces. Wasn't a fan of their salad and other sauces the previous times I ordered. Today's order was perfect for me. As for dessert, this was my first time ordering the cookie and I'm so glad I caved. I believe there were whole almonds in the cookie. I love the idea of getting extra protein in dessert. Delish!

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a whole chicken, a large order of potato bravas and rotisserie cauliflower. It was all delicious! The chicken comes broken down for easy sharing. It was very moist and had a great flavor. The potato. Wedges were crispy and had a nice spice level. The cauliflower was amazing! It's served with fried escabeche, chili oil and green goddess. If you like fried cauliflower you've got to give this a try. Besides the green goddess we also tried their fermented hot sauce and a garlic mayo aioli - both great and all 3 sauces went well with everything. They've got limited indoor seating and outdoor seating. We've already decided to make this restaurant part of our regular rotation.

This place has the best roast chicken in town. We were thinking about getting the winer winer chicken dinner or half bird, and our eyes were bigger than the stomach so we ordered half chicken and big fries for our dinner, so we could have leftover chicken for later. We ordered the food at the counter and then cashier gave us a number to put on our table. It was mouth watering chicken I enjoyed eating with friends. We loved this place with light music playing.

Delicious! We ordered sandwiches for lunch and it does not disappoint. Everything was made in perfection. Not overcooked or overdone. The fried chicken crust/breading had a great flavor. Great service. Lots of seating inside.

Rotisserie Cauliflower (and carrots that don't belong)

Update! The owner, Sarah, reached out to me and explained the variance in the cauliflower dish I received. It looks like at some point the recipe did change, but the cauliflower still can be made without the carrots, onion and peppers by request. Glad to be able to return here soon!

I rarely order chicken when I go out to eat but this is some of the tastiest, most tender chicken I've had. The radicchio salad was amazing and could be a meal on its own. I went with the salad + chicken combo - balanced and filling. The service was excellent and friendly.

We were in Portland for a short time and trying a bunch of places, so all I ordered was a small box of chicken. It was great! Yummy roasted chicken breast, straight up. If you just have a chicken craving for sure they can satisfy it.

One of the more disappointing food experiences of my Portland trip. I got the "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" which consisted a quarter bird and radicchio salad. The woman taking my order recommended their romesco sauce, since it was their most popular. Food came out pretty quickly. The chicken itself was pretty dry and tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. The skin didn't have the crispiness that many other reviewers have written about. The romesco sauce was just okay. I did really enjoy the radicchio salad though. The olives and garlic bread crumbs were the best part. The salad was fresh with everything being mixed/prepared just for me.

Love love loved the food!!! The music is a bit loud for talking inside, but the service staff is friendly and fast. We will be back!

Has anyone ever had take out from here? I have eaten here but wondering how well the salad holds up or if the dressing is packed on the side so it doesn't get soggy.

Take out from here is great! Radicchio holds up well with the dressing. But you can always get it on the side as well.

I liked everything off the raw menu besides the mushroom handroll because the salt level was at about 300%. My fave was probably the yellowtail crudo. The raw stuff came out fairly quickly then we waited a very long time for the cooked entrees to come out. There was at least a 20 minute hiatus, which I did not appreciate. The server checked on us a couple times during the wait but it's just kind of awkward when the wait is that long. I was really looking forward to the duck duck rice because pictures on Yelp made it look like a crispy rice, if it was in fact, not. The udon was our absolute favorite. The snapper was also delicious but it came very late. The alcatra was just ok, I actually couldn't take much of the tomato flavor in it.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

We came right before the dinner rush, so seating was available right away for our party of 3. Dishes we ordered was the Very Spicy Papaya Salad, White Curry w/Brisket Burnt ends, Massaman Curry w/ Smoked Lamb Shoulder, and the Roasted Mushroom Fried Rice. The salad was too spicy for me that my mouth was on fire, but those in my party who can tolerate spice enjoyed it. The curries were on the saltier side, but it definitely had the smokiness from the bbq, giving it more depth which I can see why it works so well with all the Thai flavors. If I were to choose one over the other, I would go with the Massaman Curry because the lamb was super tender and the sauce had so much more flavor than the white curry in my opinion. I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it was a wonderful tropical and refreshing drink. Portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price point, but definitely worth trying. Will be back again!
