IMHO, best fried chicken in the . Find it at Pollo Campero. They've got locations globally. I went to the Brooklyn location, but they're also in L.I., Queens, and have a new Manhattan location. Very inexpensive and great rewards program on their app. Got the three piece meal. Usually, they get maduros as the side, but they are out. Got the yucca fries with the campero dipping sauce. Note: usually, they are making the fried chicken to order, so fast food it is not. It's Guatemalan cuisine. They also deliver. Staff is very nice, but the primary language is Spanish. Ambiance is a basic fast food joint. They don't have trash, so people leave their trays and trash behind till its bussed and cleaned.

Placed an order through Postmates and the food came really quick considering I live pretty far from this location. I have never heard of or tried this place before and I'm glad I have. My family and I had the two piece meal which came with a side and dinner roll. We tried both the fried and grilled chicken and definitely prefer the fried chicken more. The skin was very crispy and flavorful. For the grilled chicken, it was a little too salty for us but the chicken was still packed with flavor. For the sides, we tried the corn salad and the campero rice. The corn salad was delicious! Every ingredient worked so well together. Only issue I had was that there was a lot of liquid in the corn salad and it was pretty soggy. We also had the fried chicken sandwich and it was really tender and delicious. The bun and pickles were really good and definitely taste better than the other fried chicken sandwiches I had at other restaurants. The prices are very decent as well which makes this place worth trying! I would definitely order from here again the next time I'm craving fried chicken.

Food was good until i got to the bottom of the fries and found a piece of hair?? Sponge?? I have no idea what was on my french fry but it looked DISGUSTING and i stopped eating the rest of it immediately. Doesn't seem sanitary here. Check your food before eating

3 Piece Meal (Citrus Grilled Chicken, Mash Potato Side, Dinner Roll) ($7.75)

Haven't had this in a minute ever since this restaurant first opened! I ordered the Three Piece Meal ($7.75) and my brother ordered the Campero Sandwich ($7.25) and Two Piece Meal ($6.25). Everything was super well packaged, placed neatly in a big brown bag. My 3pc meal came with a choice of chicken, side, and dinner roll/tortilla. The Dinner Roll is just plain o'l bread, nothing special. My Mashed Potatoes for side was unfortunately not as buttery as Popeyes, but still hits the spot. Of course, the main highlight is the chicken! Right away, I noticed how juicy and soft it was. The addicting tanginess from the sauce was also chefs kiss. The Empanadas, which we got as add-ons, didn't taste like typical ones but weren't bad! Wish we had some green sauce. In addition to their chicken, their Yuca Fries could seriously be their signature. I think I just fell in love with these South American, subtly sweet tasting fries. Love the mix of crispiness and starchiness! Unfortunately, their Fried Chicken Sandwich was drier than the Sahara Desert, according to my brother.

Instead of the spice level I ordered, I was given Reaper-level tenders, which normally require a waiver. Because of that, the food was completely inedible -- I couldn't eat it at all due to how extreme the spice was. This isn't a small mistake; it's a serious error, especially considering the safety aspect of that spice level. Timeline: * March 10: I contacted customer support and provided my receipt * March 13: Followed up after being told it would take up to 3 business days * March 16: Followed up again requesting a resolution * Now (over a month later): Still no response or resolution I was initially offered only $20 compensation for a ~$60 order, which doesn't reflect the situation at all, and after that, communication completely stopped. Spending $60 on food that couldn't be eaten, combined with being ignored for over a month, is extremely frustrating. At this point, I'm still waiting on a proper resolution. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both order accuracy and customer support.

There's plenty of seating, but not many patrons. I ordered the combo Chicken Wings (half soy garlic/half spicy Korean BBQ), and some sweet potato fries. They are basically charging Midtown prices in deep residential Brooklyn, which was kind of a turn off. Still, I decided to give it a try. Since I have had their chicken plenty of times, I went with one of their non chicken items instead and ordered the bibimbap. It was a massive disappointment. It was sixteen dollars with a fried egg, and the bowl was about ninety percent hard rice that clearly had been sitting around. The toppings were minimal, just some shredded carrots, bits of iceberg lettuce, mushrooms, grilled onions, and small pieces of dried out spinach. It was barely a bibimbap at all. Where were the bean sprouts? The Korean radish? The zucchini? This was easily the saddest bibimbap I have ever had.

I've eaten MANY Italian heroes all over northern NY & NYC and this has to be the best Ive ever had. The amount of food on a sandwich and the quality of their food is impeccable. No heroes loaded up with tomato and lettuce. Just plenty of the "good stuff". Don't give the prices a 2nd glance as these sandwiches have to weight 4-5 lbs each and a full ( 10"?) hero is plenty for 2 very hungry people. There was no line at all, and I was standing at the counter in the spot where you begin ordering your bowl. No one greeted me -- not even a simple "hello" or "I'll be right with you." Multiple staff members saw me and didn't acknowledge me. Then, two new customers walked in after me, and both of them were greeted immediately, while I continued to be ignored. I finally said, "Hey, hello, I'm waiting," and the employee responded, "He'll be with you in a minute." The person who was supposed to help me then continued doing whatever they were already doing without looking at me, acknowledging me, or giving any update. After that, I walked out. Basic acknowledgement matters. Guests shouldn't have to work for attention in an empty restaurant. I hope management addresses this, because experiences like this are discouraging and easily preventable. Especially for someone who was very hungry truly looking forward to enjoying a meal from Chipotle
