Our…read moreamazing guide, Kristin, took us to five Arts District upscale bars where we were served delicious crafted cocktails (and lite-bites at one stop.) All for only $99 per person. An amazing tour for a great price. I can't wait to go back and spend more time at these beautiful bars and also check out one of the other Lipsmacking Vegas Tours. Highly recommend!!!

Best Food Tour! (Especially if you have dietary restrictions or allergies)…read more If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, this is the tour for you!! My husband booked us a food tour and when he told me my expectations were not high. I've been to food tasting in the past but due to being a pescatarian, I usually left hungry and had to stop somewhere after to get food. That was not the case with Lip Smacking Foodie Tours. The took us to Carson Kitchen, La Mona Rosa, Oak & Ivy, Le Thai. We had food and drinks at Carson Kitchen, La Mona Rosa, and Le Thai and each place brought out multiple dishes to try. Oak & Ivy was a drink only and it was one of the best Mules we ever had. My husband loved every dish at each restaurant and I was brought out separate pescatarian/vegetarian version of the same dishes. When I tell you we weren't hungry the rest of the day, I'm not exaggerating. Throughout the tour, we also learned interesting fact about the area and the community. I am so happy we went on the tour and got to explore an area we probably wouldn't have went to and tried multiple restaurants. When we come back to Vegas, we will be coming back and we will be recommending this food tour to everyone!

*** This review is for the downtown experience ***…read more Funny how their company involves the name " foodie". There was nothing "foodie" about this tour. Should be called- " deep fried bar food after midnight tour". The restaurants on our list did not showcase their specialty known for items that they are proud of. Instead they just shlepped 3 to 4 of their cheapest mostly fried appetizer food items on our table without explanation ( EXCEPT Carson Kitchen, the waitress was extremely sweet and attentive and informative. However the offerings AGAIN were akin to late night bar food). The worst part? We are locals. And fell for this " foodie"drivel. And oh, reaching a customer service agent? Good luck! Thats a whole other Yelp review. Absolutely nothing that these restaurants served would entice us to return. Lesson learned!

Treated my boyfriend to the Downtown foodie tour for his birthday. This tour consisted of 3 stops:…read moreCarson's Kitchen, Therapy and 7th and Carson. Here were some positive and a very big negative with the company's customer service (see below). Positives: Carson's kitchen was great! They sat us right away and all the food was amazing. My boyfriend doesn't eat seafood so when they brought out the first course (deviled eggs), they left the caviar off. We also had the fried chicken skins, the rainbow cauliflower and a watermelon, feta salad that was so delicious. 7th and Carson was also great. The staff was friendly and gave us a nice rundown of the meal. The arugula salad with poached pears and burratta was so good, and the gnocchi with a mushroom cream sauce was also fantastic. The fish and chips were pretty good, but I only had a bite since we were pretty full and I'm not a big friend food fan. They also brought us a little dessert tart that was cute and just the right amount of sweet to cap the night. Cons: Therapy was very disappointing. I had read reviews previously and saw what was previously offered at each location, so when they brought out poke, crab salad and bruschetta it was a less than good surprise. As mentioned above, my boyfriend doesn't eat seafood and dispute adding that to the notes, most of the food at therapy was seafood. He tried to be a good sport and tasted the poke, but ended up leaving all of his food. As for me, I love seafood and I too was still disappointed. The poke lacked flavor aside from the very potent wasabi sauce on top, the crab salad/cake was not good. It was on a chunk of friend avocado. Warm/friend avocado is not a good flavor or texture for me and the crab salad was not good. Too much red bell pepper that overpowered the flavor of the crab. The bruschetta was fine and the only thing my bf touched there. Final and biggest negative for this review is for the finger licking foodie tour customer service. I saw it mentioned in another review but was so surprised at how rude the staff of the company was when I called after not receiving any confirmation information for our tour. I called the morning of our tour and the guy asked if I'd checked my spam. I was on my phone and didn't initially see it but did find it after a little searching. I then asked if there was anything I needed to do before showing up for the tour and he replied with the most annoyed tone "did you read the email". I had just owned the email and was trying to skim it quickly while on the call in case I had additional questions before we hung up and when I shared that and said I didn't want to waste his time trying to read thoroughly and again he said "well did you read the email yet". I've honestly never had someone be so rude, especially when I was being very friendly. Turns out there was nothing important specific that we needed to do except show up on time, easy enough to say on the phone (I was worried there was something extra I might need to sign to confirm or something). If he's the owner, he must not like his job, and if the owner is reading this and some of the other reviews it might be worth having a conversation or putting that person in a non customer facing role. As someone who works in CS, even on a bad day I wouldn't take it out on a customer who was approaching with kindness.

First off, let me tell you that my mom is not very big on "out of the ordinary" food. She is very much a meat & potatoes kinda gal. So I knew this was going to be a test for her. Let me just say, that by the end of the tour, my mom was actually trying sushi & so much more! Ken was absolutely superb! I must admit that I did a private tour, and would highly recommend that. The personal attention was out of this world. I think we all felt like we had been long lost friends with Ken by the time it the tour was over. We got the opportunity to try restaurants that we've talked about going to, just never really wanted to spend the money to "try" a restaurant. Each of the chefs & servers were extremely friendly. The food was great, and you definitely are full for the rest of the day. We had a small breakfast, had our tour at 2pm, and didn't need to have dinner for the evening. This was a wonderful surprise for all in our party, and I would highly recommend the Walking Gourmet. We definitely plan on doing another tour next time we're in Vegas. Thanks Ken...you're the best!

This was my first time to Vegas so figured a culinary tour would be a great way to get to know the city and other people who are foodies like myself. I was a little hesitant to book because of the high price but booked it with a $20 promo code. I am glad I decided to take a chance because I had a great experience and met wonderful people. I did the Palazzo/Venetian tour on a Friday and Darren was our guide. Our group only had 4 people. We visited four places including: Table 10, Sushi Samba, Morel's, and Wolf Gang Puck's :Postrio. Our first stop was Table 10 by Emeril. The bacon wrapped dates, bacon, and shrimp were so tasty. For our alcohol drink we had a lemonade spritzer. Our second stop was Sushi Samba and that was the most unique experience for me. The sushi was so good and the waygu beef potstickers were delicious. I did not care for the sake drinks. The third stop we had a private wine sommelier at Morels . We had a nice cheese and wine platter. I really wished we could of had a sampling of steak or some other appetizer in addition to the cheese. This stop I kind of felt cheated as far as food goes. The last stop was Postrios for dessert. We had a butterscotch cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. Overall, the Walking gourmet was a good experience and a must try in Vegas. It's a great way to meet new people. The price point is a little high for a non foodie but I did some numbers and each place ends up being from about $25-40 per stop. We did not get to tour any kitchens or meet any chefs so that was kind of a let down. I think some of the restaurants need to make more food selection in their sampling. Our first stop by far had the best selection and value for our money.
