Food was absolutley terrible. I ordered a cuban sandwich. No mustard. Barely any ham. It was all pork. No cheese that I could see either. The bun was so dry it crumbled like a cracker. Went through the drive-through and waited 35 minutes for our food. Then, they told us to pull up to the curbside. As we waited we watched 4 vehicles that were behind us get their food and drive away. This is NOT fast food Who ever is running this location should be fired immediately or this place will go under. We will never waste our time here ever again. This Polo is so disgusting with a greasy bathroom floor in womans, handicap bathroom dispenser full of soap but does not dispense. disgusting drink counter. The chicken is dried and burn, it looked old and it was room temp. if you are going to sell rostisserie chicken it MUST be juicy. the skin cannot be blacken and the meat dried up like is two days old and you did not even make an effort to warm it up. I ordered curbside and called the number when I arrived (per curbside sign) and no one answered the phone. I went inside 15 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready and found out that they had not even started preparing my order. I placed my order an hour in advance. The line runs long and ALWAYS takes forever. I use to work somewhere near this location and would come after my night shift for dinner, they would always close an hour BEFORE CLOSING TIME. I've called customer service like 3 times and they always say they'll talk to someone in charge but it's ALWAYS the same thing when I come. read more

Boy! I been going to Pollo Tropical for years and loved them!! This location doesn't do anything for the brand. We had chicken and a tropichop. The chicken was very small, tasteless and over cooked. The rice was a little mushy but the black beans were good but not great. The plantains were in a much smaller container than I remembered. The tropichop was ok but nothing special. The biggest disappointment was they did have a condiments bar (salsa, raw onions, dipping sauces, lemon juice and garlic sauce) like all the other locations I've been to. The drink machine was out of ice and it didn't seem to bother the staff cause nobody filled it while we were there. Needless to say we won't be back!!! read more

This place has good food but did not put out my online order for 20 min. I had to walk up to the front and and then wait longer because no one asked me what I needed. Then after I saw my bag I asked the manager for it because it was sitting on the counter for that 20 min and he asked for my order number and I showed him and everything. He said it wasn't my order number even though I confirmed my name. He said "we've been having a problem of people taking online orders and just saying that the name on the bag is theirs". Had an awful experience yesterday unfortunately. My 3 year old loves the food so we decided to go for dinner. However, we were ignored by the staff when we walked up to the counter. Stood there a good 7 mins (the only reason we waited that long was because I could see ticket times were running 14 mins so I knew they were busy). Whoever the franchise owner of this location is is sitting on a gold mine and yet is letting a staff who hasn't the slightest inkling of customer service skills ruin an amazing opportunity for a good business. The food at Pollo Tropical is great and there is no shortage of demand for it, it sells itself. The line is always around the parking lot and yet when you walk in the staff completely and blatantly ignores you while cracking inappropriate jokes to one another within earshot of the customers with children. After waiting unacknowledged for over 5 minutes amongst a lobby full of customers still waiting for their food a girl with long braids walked up to the register put her hand up and said, "I AM NOT TAKING YOUR ORDER." Then she did some comps and walked away. No "ill be right with you" no "im sorry we are really busy" just complete ignorance. This place is always like this and if it weren't for the food i would not have returned in the fist place. But now I wont be returning which is a shame because its right by house. But I wouldn't even consider it or recommend it to anyone. Zero stars. read more

I can't speak for the day time staff or any other staff. But the kids working at 9:45pm on Friday August 27, 2021 irritated the hell out of me. So I call at 9:37pm and I try to place take out order so they can have it ready and save us both time. But then the worker tells me they're not doing takeout orders, only drive thru. So I tell him "okay I'll be there in 10-15 min" *he hangs up* I was there at 9:45 trying to be considerate that they close at 10pm. I pull up to the order speaker. I say "hello" and "yo" about 5 times. No Answer. So I go up to the window and none of them even wanna look my way. Then one does and makes a gesture that they are closed. Same with another. Then one comes to the window and says they are closed. Then I say "but it's only 9:49, and y'all close at 10" as the dude tried scurrying thru his head for another excuse, I add "look man, normally I'd just take my ass to McDonalds but my lady has a headache and she's craving this restaurant" unbothered by my story, I thought to myself "damn I'm really having to beg these Mfs to do their job" I normally don't write any reviews so the fact I took my time to write this I'm hoping these kids see this or their manager and take them off the night shift since they wanna close early and lose the business of me and 4+ other cars just that I seen before I left, and went to chipotle.
