i am absolutely appalled with this restaurant. there have been many different incidents in which i have stayed silent but no more today has crossed the line. it is sunday and currently 7:50 pm, there was a rude and obnoxious employee standing outside informing me the restaurant was closed. i said how could that be if it's only 7:50 in the afternoon and they CLIAM they close at 11 pm. I then lowered my window to ask the curly head employee if they were closed and she yelled YES so loud that i got some of her spit on my face. there's always some sort of good shortage in this place, and I can assure you it's not because the food was is breathtakingly good. never want to come here again. this is the epitome of a business who gives no craps about their customers. read more

Horrible. Drive through gives you burnt chicken. Inside the same. Ordered something on their app, went to pick it up and when I got there no one even looked at the order so I had to wait. I might as well went in person. Also these last 2-3 times I went, they advertise their fruits popsicles and they keep saying they don't have ever or they're expired. After several years getting ffod at PT@10072 today we irdered food, when we got there to pick up the order it was not ready, we had to waid about 45 minutes for it to be ready. Personnel was preparing the orders without wearing gloves, somebody complained about it and the response was they washed their hands, the Supervisor could not care less about the complain of one customer, one of the employess was laughing at the complain. It is so sad to see how bad the service at this restaurant had become. The raised the prices and lower the quality of service and food. I patiently waited the long line this afternoon only to be told by the cashier that there would be no chicken for at least an hour. However, last night I got some takeout to eat at home: a tropi-chop with white rice and black beans, & corn. I was able to count the corn in it, with one hand, not to say it barely had any corn in it, the rice was disgusting (no other way to put it, sorry), it wasn't rice, it looked like frosting. Also ordered some chicken with beans / rice, same story there. And the yuca frita, well, its color was just gross, you'd think it'd look fried, sure, that thing had a weird color. Oh, Pollo Tropical... my stomach burns, and not with the passionate enthusiasm I have for your chicken. I came to your restaurant today, and it felt like stepping into the twilght zone. There were flies around the restaurant, and you botched up my order. I wanted a trio order, but only got a duo of chicken and ribs. The ribs were tender, and the barbecue sauce was dreamy, I must admit, but I just wish the chicken was tender and juicier. It was a bit dry. I love this place but I rate it 3 stars for one reason. Inconsistency. One day their food is amazing and the next, it's terrible. I usually have the quarter chicken with two sides. Ive tried almost everything on the menu and everything is generally well done. it's a good fast food choice when your in a hurry. read more

The food at this location is great but the drive thru staff is horrible.

Love their chicken ceaser wrap and their tropichops with pork. The drive thru line is always super log but they are pretty quick. The inside is mostly clean and they always have their salad bar pretty well stocked. For the most part they get orders correct and food doesn't take too long to be out. read more

I was never a big fan of Pollo Tropical, but after coming to this location I completely changed my mind. I usually order one of their tropichops which are always very good. The portions are pretty big so I usually get the large and share that. Lester really deserves to be employee of the month. Upon approaching the register, he noticed that I sighed, disappointed that my phone battery was low. He immediately offered me his phone charger. After sitting at my table. He walked over and asked if the sunlight was bothering me. I hadn't noticed it actually was a bit bright. So he drew the shades. Aside from excellent customer service provided by Lester, my tropichop was delicious! Not to mention, the location was impeccable. Worse pollo tropical around. I've given it a few tries but the experience gets worse every time. They put scraps of chicken in both the "chicken" caesars salad and "chicken" tropi chops. You're lucky if you find the chicken. The service at this location is mediocre at best and the drive thru can be a nightmare. Stay away! read more

I gave this Pollo Tropical a one star because when I went to the drive thru I asked for white rice and beans and more. When I get to the window they tell me that there is no white rice and they only have yellow and brown rice, I settled for the brown rice I was biting into the rice I discovered that the rice was undercooked!! The food is average Pollo Tropical. However, this branch makes you feel discriminated by your origin. They would give you "cold"/not fresh made chicken if you don't speak Spanish or not considered as an original American. And they acted as if you don't know about their behaviors!
