We decided on the family meal with chicken, rolls, rice and black beans. Since we both love plantains, the bean side got changed. The restaurant has a good menu of sandwiches, chicken, salads, bowls and other dishes like Cuban style pork. They also offer a variety of sauces to spice up your meal and the pineapple rum sauce is one to try. The chicken had a good flavor, although it was a little tough and the plantains were cooked just right. The service is good and the employees are happy to assist, they want your business. The restaurant parking lot is clean and kept up. Pollo tropical is a nice change from places like sub shops or pizza. The food is good and they offer a variety menu. read more

Had a good experience at this locations Pollo Tropical. My group had a large order that was ready within a short wait despite being quite busy. The cashiers were friendly and kind, providing us with as many sauces we needed for our order and refilling our beverages with no complaint. The food could be best described as slightly elevated fast casual food. It's a great option for larger groups due to their family meal deals. I typically get the mojo pork and always get a side of the cheesy yucca bites to enjoy with their garlic cilantro sauce, this locations rendition of it did not disappoint. The restaurant looks nice from the outside, but when you walk in it changes. The bathrooms were super dirty and had flown in them. There were flies everywhere inside the eating area. Once I went up to the counter to order the food I could see more flies on the food. My husband made a joke and said. It's like eating outside! We ordered and the employee made a mistake he was in training. I aske him to cancel the order and order it. My father just ordered chicken and a whole ass order and the stupid ass server in the drive-thru gave my dad the box where the chicken is supposed to go, filled with fucking fried plantains. Maybe 4 cars in front of me...but big cars so they take a good chunk of the drive thru. Everyone ordering their food through the speaker and when it's my turn they changed it to a person with a tablet. The high school looking kid went to the two cars in front of me and then a coworker interrupted him, they both walked out of my eye vision the menu screen was covering them and talked for a couple of minutes and wait and behold skipped me and went to the cars behind me. Love how it feels like a restaurant but is actually a fast food place. You order and sit down. There's a salsa bar. Very disappointed in the food. Had eaten their catered food from work and loved the beans and rice. However from the restaurant it was tasteless and cold. They have a wonderful menu of fresh food grilled for the those in a hurry or on the go. I had the 1/4 grilled chicken and pork loin with yellow rice and veggies and a Cesar salad. I have eaten another salad here before and it was amazing. I wish they offered another salad instead of Cesar for a side item. Went here for dinner tonight and it was not a good experience. We should have walked out when we were in line but we didn't. The lady in front of us ordered take out and when she got her order it was completely wrong. They had to refund her order and re do the order. We went ahead and ordered cause we were hungry and had a child to feed and get to bed at a decent hour. So the lady calls out the food number in Spanish multiple times and then looks confused as to why no one is collecting the food for the number she's hollering out. So my husband says English? And she yells the number in English so my husband grabs our food and we head to a table. Well we then realized we had no cups so my husband went to get those. Then I realized my tropi chop bowl was missing half the toppings I ordered and it clearly said on the ticket. So I took that up for them to fix, then I realized when I got it back my chicken was cold. It was an overall bad experience. There is no excuse for the lady yelling out the numbers in Spanish when everyone in the place was Caucasian or Haitian. Maybe English or creole would have been beneficial. There were 10 people working behind the counter cooking and putting fold together. They can't be in that much of a hurry to screw up everyone's food when there are ten people assembling and cooking it. The mango sweet tea was empty for the whole time we were there. If I could give 0 stars I would, I have ordered from this location 3 times now using DoorDash, the workers ALWAYS forget to add the sauces I order to the bag and I end up with dry food.
