I had Pollos & Jarras bookmarked on Yelp and noticed it was conveniently located near Bayside Marketplace, where our cruise departed from. We decided to grab takeout from here for dinner, and it was worth it. We ordered the pollo a la brasa - their whole rotisserie chicken served with lambayeque rice, a flavorful cilantro-based rice, and a house salad with a variety of dressings on the side. The chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The dressings complemented everything perfectly and really elevated the meal. The portion was generous and easily enough for two people. Definitely a 10/10. I highly recommend this spot! read more

I love Peruvian food so I made us reservations. My momma has never had Peruvian food so it was a treat for her. They gave us some cilantro soup as an appetizer and it was delicious! We asked for a second little cup and if we weren't getting on a cruise the next day, we would have ordered some to go. Service is good. Our server explained everything for us. We didn't need reservations because it wasn't that packed on a Sunday afternoon. Inside transport you to a fun, funky time with the brightly painted walls. I ordered the rotisserie chicken but swapped the fries for fried yucas. The yucas were a little tough but had good flavor. The chicken was awesome. Full of flavor and juicy. My salad I enjoyed but would have loved it with better salad dressing. My mom ordered the steak and chicken bowl. She enjoyed the flavor but would have liked more meat. I have been to the ceviche restaurant next door so many times but felt overwhelmed by the decor of Pollos & Jarras. A friend finally convinced me to go and while I was still overwhelmed with the decor, I was happy I went. The colors are bright and they had pool floaties all over the ceiling, which some where dusty and deflated, but it was part of their Miami theme. The service was typical of Miami where it was great but then they got busy and we had 2 different servers that didn't communicate and so it was dejavu all over. The food on the other end was great, for a restaurant that focuses on chicken it was great! we ordered a combo to feed us all and our bellies were happy. read more

The salad was basic nothing noteworthy ok but the french fries were tastey and the chicken nicely juicy and flavorful especially with the sauces you pour on the plate to mix! Hits the spot. The mix salteado was amazing; super flavorful and the rice was spot on. My rotisserie chicken was really good and tender, fries were super hot and the rice was delicious as well. It was chofan style with lots of chicken. For the appetizer we got the chicken empanadas and they were super delicious paired with the green sauce on the side. Some of the best food I've had in a minute. This menu item was brought for Mother's Day and is a "secret menu" item as it's not found on the menu. It comes with half a rotisserie chicken, 2 shrimp skewers, churrasco steak, potatoes, and a side of fried rice. More than enough for 2-3 people. For my meal, it was very hard to choose from. With the help of my waiter, I choose the chaufa Calle capon. Mannnnnnmn ohhhhhhh mannnnnnnn. It was soooooo flipping good! The flavors, the meat (chicken), eggs, vegetables...literally everything in this meal was delicious. The serving size was huge. I wanted to finish it in one sitting, that's how good it was, but I was too full. It's definitely a service size for 2-3 ppl. I took the remaining for leftovers and had it for breakfast. I still had a little left over. Even the leftovers was delicious. Ambience is okay. Nothing that wowed me. Service was great. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. The same stuff can be ordered in either one but depends on the atmosphere you are looking for. I haven't been to CVI.CHE 105 but Pollos & Jarras is a normal chill sitdown restaurant. We had our suitcases with us so for convenience of "storing" them next to us, we were seated downstairs (i guess usually they have people sit upstairs?). There was a small soup? they gave everyone as like an "amuse bouche" to maybe stimulate your appetite. I'm not sure what it was but it was tasty and would have definitely ate a big bowl of it. We ordered a few things to share among the 4 of us. CEVICHE PIMENTEL (MEDIO PICANTE) includes fresh fish, shrimp, octopus mixed with smoked rocoto leche de tigre with a side of steamed corn, crispy corn, and sweet potato puree Probably THE BEST? ceviche i've had. Flavorful "marinade" with fresh and tender fish/shrimp/octopus. I never knew of this HUGE corn kernels thats unique to Peru which is tasty as well. Way better than Mexican ceviche that's very one noted due to its quick preparation and plain. Peruvian ceviche has tartness, sweetness, savoriness, spice, umami but also marinates for a longer time for more in-depth flavor profile. DELICIOUS ! I even used the marinade on the bottom to mix with some white rice as well ! Didn't really care for the sweet potato puree. The ceviche and the corn were my favs LOMOZO ON FIRE (aka lomo saltado) includes pieces of filet mignon, onions, tomato, and aromatized pepper with cilantro, served with crunchy fries and white rice. VERY tender and flavorful filet mignon, sweet onions and tomato. Only complaint would be "too small" of a portion/meat amount. EL CHAUFA CRIOLLAZO is a Chinese-Peruvian twist on fried rice with rotisserie chicken. Good amount of fried rice. Made pretty well. Good flavorful profile and smokiness you look for in a well done fried rice. Service was attentive. Good atmosphere for just a chill, sit down restaurant to eat and chat at. Looking for a final meal in Miami, we picked Peruvian food at Pollos & Jarras. They're located right next to CVI.CHE, which is actually their sister restaurant and you can order off of their menu too! Considering we had such a large group, we got really lucky that they were able to seat us immediately. I'm not sure what the first floor is used for but they directed everyone to the second floor and only through the elevators. Once seated, our server explained all of the menus and the specials and recommended some of his favorite things. And while we were waiting for our food, they gave everyone a small cup of cilantro soup with rotisserie chicken! Ceviche Threesome: We definitely got bamboozled and I would've rated our experience 5 stars if it weren't for this. We were under the impression that the server was recommending the cheaper option but this is market price and it was over $100 for each one...and we ordered 3! The ceviche is good and it comes with oysters (very fishy) and a lobster but it wasn't good enough to justify the price. Each one is probably good for about 4 people. Lomazo on Fire: This is a lomo saltado and if you've never had one, it's a mix of filet mignon, onions, tomatoes, and fries, served with rice. The fries were crispy, even mixed with the sauces, but the beef was a little dry. Easy dish to share too! Pollo a la Brasa: Their rotisserie chicken is one of their most popular dishes and if you have a group of people, you can easily share half or a whole chicken. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I usually don't even like white meat because of how dry it could be but everything was moist and tender. And omg, you have to try the chicken with all the different sauces at the table, especially the green one! Quattro Leches: Unfortunately only available Friday-Sunday but if you lucky enough to visit during the weekend, you have to order one for yourself. It's so decadent and moist...I can't believe I agreed to share this with other people. Slightly different from the traditional tres leches but still very good! I really did enjoy the food but was taken aback by the bill because of the ceviche. I've been ordering chicken anticuchos from this place regularly, and my experience has always been good--until my order on March 17, 2026. I ordered two portions--one for myself and one for my husband--and unfortunately, both were completely unacceptable. The chicken was extremely tough, dry, and impossible to eat. It honestly seemed overcooked or like it had been sitting for too long. Because of this, we both ended up without lunch, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. This was very disappointing, especially coming from a place I've trusted before. At the very least, a full refund should be issued. read more

It's market price so just be sure to inquire before ordering as it does come with lobster. Definitely a splurge but everything on this platter was so delicious! POLLO A LA BRASA: Since chicken is in their name, we had to try one of their chicken dishes as well. This dish has 1/2 and 1/4 sizes too if you need a smaller serving size, but of course the full order will give the best bang for your buck. The chicken was juicy and delicious although I can't help but feel it's so pricey for just being rotisserie chicken. I definitely don't think the 1/2 or 1/4 orders are worth paying for and you'd probably be better spending your money on other dishes. They have a decent variety of other Peruvian dishes on their menu and the staff did a good job explaining their menu and giving recommendations. Overall, good food but a bit pricey. Our server Christopher was very attentive, helpful, and a good sales pitcher since we ended up ordering more things that we intended. Chris suggested that we try the ceviche trio and our group thought that what he was talking about was the Trilogy de Ceviches ($39). At first, we ordered only 2 for the group since we just all wanted a bite of it. He suggested we get 3 for the table and we said, sure. We ended up being served the Ceviche Threesome market price and EACH ONE cost $129. We were definitely surprised when we got the check. To be fair, the ceviche was very good and they served larger portions including a good chunk of lobster. But just be sure you know exactly what you're ordering. The other items ordered were: -1 Pollo A La Brasa ($29): rotisserie chicken, tender meat. Have to eat with the green sauce (there's a whole platter of sauce bottles on the table). Comes with rice and fries. -Carne Asada ($29): 8oz churasco with chimichurri, served with plantains and Lambayeque rice which was delicious-- has a cilantro taste. -Quattro Leches for dessert: have to get this, it was so good that my husband ended up coming back to order this to-go. First time visiting it (came from NY) and I'd rate it a 4.5, but will still give it five. Here's my experience: I came to celebrate Peru's Independence Day (28 de Julio) and as a Peruvian restaurant, I expected perhaps a special of the day (drink or platter etc in honor of 28) but unfortunately there was no acknowledgement to this, not even from their staff. The atmosphere doesn't feel as if you were home (I also expected maybe Peruvian music playing versus house music) as this is a Peruvian establishment. Nonetheless, customer service was great, food was delicious, and prices are Miami prices. The decor on the walls and ceiling are pretty neat especially signs on wall. This gave it a little bit of "at home" taste. Perhaps my experience would have been more positive had there been more celebration to today's Independence Day. read more
