Wowwwww this place lived up to all my expectations for my first trip Cali. The hotel is a MUST do! It's gorgeous and the history can be sensed. We went for breakfast and sat outside what a beautiful place. I witnessed business meetings , a cool rockets couple and best dressed people. The food was yummy and plentiful. Do not Miss this spot ! Waiter was THE BESTTTT

I've finally grown up, and am ready for the Polo Lounge! Who am I kidding, I finally saved enough to walk past The Cabana Cafe and The Fountain Room (which are fantastic in their own right) to make my way over to the restaurant on the same floor as the entrance to The Beverly Hills Hotel. I've been looking forward to this for years. Reservations for lunch are tough to get; online you'll see availability during the day, but when I went to check back in the evening, there was nothing between 10:30a and 5p. Figure I would chance it by being a walk-in. Greeted pleasantly at the hostess stand, I took a seat at the small bar where there were already a few people eating lunch. The dining room was a little less than half full around 12:15p. Service started off slowly but was very pleasant with 'Baldimir'. I went with a blueberry peach fizz (non-alcoholic, $18) and the McCarthy salad minus beets and eggs. The bread basket was really good; one can almost become full off of this alone but it was a nice accompaniment to the rest of the lunch. The salad looks so perfect upon presentation, and they offer to mix it for you which I permitted. Although I'm glad I finally had my chance to try this classic dish, I do mentally kick myself for paying $46 for a salad. I clearly know where I am so the price is expected, but I had the opportunity, and I figured I might as well do it now before it gets to $50+. I admit I saw some other options on the menu I'd like to try but for now, I'm happy I finally had my chance to come to the famed Polo Lounge to try their popular McCarthy salad.

Had lunch with my nieces two weeks ago to celebrate a birthday. It was my first time here after wanting to come here for many years. The hotel is historic with a lot of original designs. The Polo Lounge has the old Hollywood charm. It feels like you stepped back in time. The patio seating is tight, a bit too crowded for me but we still enjoyed our time here sipping on our coffee and enjoying our food. The food was delicious. I loved their club sandwich, it was like no other. The salad we ordered and shared was refreshing and good. The bread basket they bring was lovely. The beef bolognese was rich and a bit heavy for lunch so I would say it's more of a dinner dish. The coffee was good and the chocolate soufflé was amazing. The prices are on the higher side but don't forget you are in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It's worth the experience. We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed every moment of our lunch. And yes customer service was friendly and attentive.

Actually the most beautiful restaurant with the most beautiful ambiance ever!! Everything was so gorgeous the further you went through the hotel the prettier everything got! I started with the crab avocado toast which was really good, honestly everything was great such an amazing place for a brunch. My burger was really good but it was pretty filling especially with the appetizer and dessert. I got the key lime pie which was really limey but the banana cream was delicious and they gave us a cute bday cake too which was pretty good! And our waitress was amazing she had blue eyes and she was sooo kind let us take our time like she was amazing so great service!

The Polo Lounge at the The Beverly Hills Hotel truly feels like an event the moment you step inside. I was lucky enough to attend tea time for a pre birthday celebration, and the whole experience felt special from start to finish. It is definitely pricey, but that is part of the deal here, and the attentive service and classic ambience do a good job of justifying the cost. Everything felt polished and intentional, like you are participating in a long standing tradition rather than just having a meal. This is not an everyday tea spot for me, but it is absolutely perfect for a very special occasion when you want to feel a little extra fancy.

We had a great brunch, I love how the place has that timeless charm, beautiful setting, great people watching, and super chill but still elegant. We orders the Linguini Vongole, Fish & Chips, and Soufflé to share. Everything was on point. The linguini was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Fish & Chips were light and crispy, not greasy at all, and fries were addicting. And the soufflé- wow! So fluffy and warm, the perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly and attentive without being over by top. It's the kind of place you can hang out for a couple of hours, sip something bubbly, and just enjoy the vibe. Definitely a must if you want a classy brunch.

Checked it out for dinner with a friend who was in town. Had a very kind and knowledgeable server who was able to perfectly plan our courses. Here's what we tried tonight: 1. Peaches and Gorgonzola salad: superb salad. Peaches were fresh and sweet. Combined with arugula , Gorgonzola blue, caramalized pecans, and perfectly dressed with vinaigrette. Yummy. Must order 2. Rigatoni Bolognese: braised beef Ragu with chive. Was ok. Have had better. Wish they would have used the big thick rigatoni instead. 3. Spaghetti with olive oil and citrus base. Assortment of fresh asparagus, cherry tomatoes, olives and zucchini. Spectacular. This was not on the menu but was specially requested by our server and it was splendid. 4. Had my usual ole fashion. My friend had a specialty cocktail but can't remember the name at the moment. 5. Chocolate soufflé: of course had to try the signature soufflé. And of course it was delicious. Make sure you order a little ahead of time as it take 20 minutes to make.

I visited the Beverly Hills Hotel PL around 10:45 - 11 PM and asked for a table. The host, Gabriel, told me they were closing in 10 minutes and couldn't seat me. Yet when my two white friends joined me, the story changed--they suddenly had 30 minutes and found us a table by the door stating he could only seat that table. When my 4th white friend who joined asked for a better table, Gabriel easily accommodated them. The disparity in treatment was glaring, and it felt discriminatory. This experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable.

Sunday Brunch at the Polo Lounge is a complete vibe. Dress code is dressy casual, and you'll want to save some time before or after your reservation to check out the decor of the hotel and grounds. It has that old Hollywood glamour to it. Service is top notch and professional, performed by well-dressed staff. The coursed meal currently sits at $160/pp and includes a beverage (alcoholic or not), a starter, entree and dessert as well as a fresh bread basket to start. Truthfully after the bread, drink and starter we were already full! I opted for the white sangria which was quite refreshing and my friend had the Bloody Mary. To start I selected the Ahi Tuna Tartare. I loved the addition of the yuzu ponzu and the substantial portion. I kept with the seafood theme with the Lobster 'Rolls Royce' as my main. It was stuffed to the brim with succulent Maine lobster. I rounded it out with the Wild Berries & Flowers, their cheesecake. I had to take it home because I was full but it was just as fresh and floral the next day. This is a special experience for sure. All of the food was very well prepared and left very happy. Outside of Sunday Brunch they also serve breakfast any other day of the week and offer a full lunch and dinner menu.

I used to be a fan of polo lounge but last time i visited changed my mind for sure. I felt the quality of their service has dropped quite a lot The plates lack attention to detail, and the flavors were bland and pretty much tasteless. Their desserts taste like they been made days earlier and stored in the fridge. Overall, well below what you would expect in Beverly Hills. Their valet line is always packed and they are so slow with moving. I had my service dog with me and asked for water for her, which they refused, another level rude ... This was my last visit to LA Polo lounge.

Yes it's a beautiful location, old Hollywood feel, the ambiance is definitely worth the dining experience, Service 10/10 Food unfortunately is underwhelming. I'm surprised that the iconic Polo Lounge is struggling to find a better Chef. We had the chicken wings 5/5 Lobster Risotto 2/5 lacked seasoning, not the same dish we had 4 years ago. Branzino 2.5/5 needed more flavor. Drinks 4/5 Table Bread and butter 5/5 especially that pretzel bread. Tuna Tartar 4/5

Bar/restaurant inside the Beverly Hills hotel with small bites and drinks. Great place to grab a quick beverage before walking around the hotel, service was incredible, prices are as to be expected for the location ($25/cocktail).

Absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious from start to finish & my favorite was the chocolate soufflé (perfectly light and decadent), and the oysters were incredibly fresh. The presentation is top tier! The vibes were excellent, with attentive, thoughtful service throughout the evening. I especially loved the live piano and music & it added such a beautiful, elegant touch to the night. I really appreciated the not rushed evening. Thank you for the great birthday. Stunning atmosphere, great energy, and an overall unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend

$85 per person including one cocktail of choice. The brunch starts at 10:30am (call them to confirm) so if you go earlier, you can order off of the standard menu.

However, after we raved about our multiple dining experiences at LAVO Las Vegas, we were surprised to learn that none of our relatives had ever dined at the restaurant's Los Angeles location. So, when the opportunity arose, I made an after-Christmas dinner reservation through OpenTable and excitedly waited. We knew exactly where LAVO Los Angeles was located, as we had frequently driven past the Sunset Medical Tower on Sunset Boulevard and had eaten at the same restaurant space before it changed hands several times over the past decade or so. They offer valet service, which only accepts credit card payments, and because of the restaurant's location, you might as well use the service, because you'd be hard-pressed to find street parking. Our group of six arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before our reservation and were greeted by a friendly hostess who asked whether we were ready to be seated or preferred to wait in the bar. We chose to be seated, and she escorted us into the quiet, warm, yet festively decorated dining room. The busser approached us, took our water service request, and informed us about who our server would be. Our server, Addison, came to our table while the busser refilled our water glasses and offered assorted citrus slices to flavor them. After my brother-in-law showed Addison the magnum of wine he brought and asked if the sommelier could uncork the bottle, since it was not only a 2006 vintage but also had a long, possibly fragile cork, even though they kept the bottle in their personal wine storage. Unfortunately, they didn't have a sommelier on duty, and Addison informed us of the restaurant's impending end-of-year closure and confidently said she could uncork it with her trusty corkscrew. However, my brother-in-law decided to give it the "ol' college try" and successfully uncorked the bottle. FOOD: -Fritto Misto: a platter of lightly battered and fried zucchini, shrimp, calamari, and vinegary peppers with marinara was delivered to our table and was quickly shared and devoured. Everyone felt the fritto misto was light, delicious, and perfectly cooked. $28 -The Meatball: We've often seen this appetizer ordered at the Las Vegas site, but we never ordered it because we felt it was too much food to share between us. However, now that we had our family surrounding us, we ordered it. The 16-oz meatball is made with fresh-ground imperial Wagyu, Italian sausage, and veal. It is served with whipped ricotta and marinara. We shared the tender, toothsome meatball among us and sopped up the sauce with garlic bread. $34 -Semolina Sesame Garlic Bread: Addison highly recommended this garlic bread to pair with The Meatball and sipping on our Cabernet blend wine. The lightly grilled-toasted loaf was served with three dipping sauces (marinara, basil pesto, & Gorgonzola dolce). $18 -Zitoni Genovese: braised short rib, sweet onions, pecorino Romano. I received a generous portion of Neapolitan or Sicilian zitoni pasta (larger ziti tubes) and an intensely flavorful, tomato-wine-based, fall-apart tender, slow-braised short ribs ragù. This comfort-food pasta dish was so rich and filling that I could barely eat half the portion and ended up bringing home leftovers. $33 -Faroe Island Salmon Oreganato: My husband cut into the salmon filet, which had a light crisp coating of breadcrumbs and revealed the fillet's tender medium-rare doneness. The rich, buttery-tasting salmon filet sat atop a melange of sautéed vegetables and was dressed with a lemon, white wine, and garlic butter sauce. My husband jokingly said he could feel his heart health improving with each bite. $39 The rest of my family ordered their own entrees, and when we were nearly finished with our meals, we decided to share a dessert. We ordered the luscious 20 Layer Chocolate Cake ($29), and each of us commented on the "decadence" of chocolate, peanut butter, and mascarpone. During our dining experience, Addison informed us that LAVO Los Angeles would sadly be closing at the end of the year. We were happy to have supported this restaurant, and it was great to see so many others show their support during the Holidays.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, but it feels very open air inside with tons of green plants and those open doors to their patio. Full bar with incredible libations, including less common beverages with Mezcal and cool Liqueur. All day breakfast available. Enjoy brunch and brunch cocktails on weekends. Enjoy Starters/Shareables, Salads & Bowls, Smoothies, Stone Oven Pizzas (available with Vegan Mozzarella or Cashew Ricotta options for dairy free folks, GF dough option dough also available), Entrees, Cold Pressed Juice, Coffee, Lattes, Sodas, Teas and Baked Goods. Family friendly, kids menu available. Dog friendly. Gender neutral restroom and the coolest handwashing vanity area with more plants :) Parking choices range from valet to local garage or street. We were in a garage at an event close by so opted to stay there and walk exactly one block over. Everything is fairly reasonable, including great deals on their weekday happy hour 3pm to 6pm, featuring $12 Draft Cocktails, $10 glasses of wine, $7 draft beer and a small variety of Bar Snacks. I have been to their Venice location on Abbot Kinney Blvd and the vibes are similar, but more beachy and crowded. Both take reservations and I definitely recommend on weekends and end of the weeknights. Definitely team The Butcher's Daughter - West Hollywood. Be back soon :)

I got the skirt steak cooked medium rare -- flavor was good, but it was a little tough to cut. I think it would've paired even better with some garlic butter or chimichurri on the side. The mac and cheese was SO good and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely something I'd order again. The pork chops were delicious and packed with flavor, but the spinach underneath was a bit too bitter for my taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy, soft, and comforting. We also loved the Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad -- both were super solid sides. Drinks were perfect and balanced out the dishes really well. Service and atmosphere were great too. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menu next time we are in the area.

It was bland and portion was just smaller than I expected. There is a location in Pasadena and the pasta was seasoned well and balanced and what I feel the portion was much bigger. I do have to assume it's due to the location of this establishment. The ambiance was pretty slow however the inside decorations were so cute and pleasant on the eyes. I wouldn't come here for the food, perhaps a drink and a small app.

We ordered the Wagyu burger, egg white turkey omelette with potatoes, & a side of bagels. The food was decent but very bland--nothing stood out, & we had to add salt for flavor to everything. Portions were small, with barely any avocado or pico, and not very filling. The bagels were good, but they gave very little cream cheese and even charged extra for more, which bad barely enough for one side of a beagle. Service was a bit disappointing. Our server was nice but It wasn't busy, yet our server rarely checked on us--we had to refill our own water & go get the pitcher. They also don't clearly mention when choosing sides it cost extra, which can add up quickly but a heads up would have been appreciated. Overall, we paid about $65 for two & left underwhelmed. It's fine for a casual hangout, but not somewhere I'd go to be impressed. I will say on a positive note, the baked goods, specifically the soft chocolate chip cookies, tasted very fresh! Other than that though we were quite a bit disappointed.

They have breakfast sandwiches, granola bowls, pancakes, omelettes, burgers, hot dogs, salads, bakery pastries and cake slices. There's a fridge full of various fresh cheeses and another fridge with ready to bake breads and pastries that you can take home to bake yourself. Lots of variety snacks throughout the store; often ones that you do not find at regular grocery stores. For example, they have dang Thai Rice chips, which are bomb good. I used to only be able to find these on Thrive market, so it's good to see a local place sell them. Staff were all friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Interesting note is that they have various checkout counters throughout the store; it doesn't matter which counter you pay at. From the deli, I have tried... 1. Kale Salad with Spicy Peanuts & Queso Fresco It's technically supposed to be a healthy dish, but the sauce was too sweet for my liking. I think the sweetness is from the honey & the dried cranberries in it. Otherwise, the kale was fresh and spicy peanuts added a little bit of kick 2. Tarragon Chicken Salad The chicken was on the drier side, but the sour cream sauce was light and creamy - could use more herbs for flavoring though. I'll come back again for when I need a quick grub! Worth checking out if you are in the area
