I had read many bad reviews about this place and didn't believe they could really be that bad. So I allowed them to come to my home. Old Republic sent them. Boy was I wrong. They really are the worst. Horrible first impression. Dirty, sloppy. When I questioned his work and what he was doing he approached me in a very threatening way. And his drugged up, glassy eyed helper just stood there with his mouth open. When I reported what had happened to Old Republic, they did nothing. He didn't even fix anything. This company takes advantage of home warranty customers. They sent their tech, Shane, out. All he did was say the equipment was working and walked out. He said unless the system is dead there's nothing he can do. He said he can't do anything about a noisy system and walked out. I confirmed with his boss, Melissa, as well as the home warranty company that he should have at least checked the HVAC Unit. If you have a home warranty and they try to send this company, request someone else. Let me assure you that my experience with this company was far worse than I described above, but I'm being nice. And, no, I was not nice to the tech or another guy that contacted me from this company, because the were asses. Melissa, the owner, was nice on the phone, but their company seems to lack integrity. --------- Love Christoper's response. He thinks expecting to get what you paid for is being cheap and he thinks double charging is ok. I tried to be nice with this review, but this company is a fraud (in my opinion). BOTH this company and the home warranty acknowledged that the equipment should have been checked and parts replaced, if needed. An electrical buzz or a unit sounding like it's coming through the roof is NOT just a noisy unit - it's probably a failing blower motor and/or capacitor. ( Best Experience Ever) I've been having a lot of issues with my AC all summer long. It has gone out four times just this summer alone. On august 8th when it was 110 degrees was the fourth time it had stopped working. Old Republic Home Warranty assigned several HAVC contractors to come out. Everyone one of them basically just put a bandaid on the problem. This last time Right Choice AC & plumbing was assigned. Right choice responded to the placed work order the same day. My sink garbage disposal came off the sink drain and fell down. I contacted my home warranty company. The first company they gave me never answered. The second company said it would be ten days till they would come out. Finally the third company was "Right Choice". It was already the afternoon when I contacted them. This guy is a joke he came out my father in law told him the problem , ignored what he said tried saying there was a slb leak, when all it was was the PVC pipe for air condinsation clogged , and then blew it out, found a grinder someone had left at the house had the balls to ask if he could have it, took it with him w/o a yes, tried to charge my father in law $300 , my father in law gave him $150, then he had the balls to contact my husband tell him his father ripped him off, not knowing the details fully we paid him the other $150.You take advantage of elderly people and that angers me. You blew out a clog that took 5 minutes. That is bad business. We work so could not be here with my father in law. Stop taking advantage of elderly people. Do Not Do Business With This Company. STAY AWAY!! Home warranty company sent them for a plumbing issue. The tech used a hand snake and a plunger and didn't attempt to use any more advanced tools to fix/diagnose this issue. All he said was he "hit a blockage" he couldn't get past, said he was passing it back to insurance and just left. The tech blamed the blockage on baby wipes in his report, so my home warranty will now no longer cover any expenses. I had another plumber come out and did find the blockage, cleared it, and said it had nothing to do with baby wipes. Last week our Hot Water Heater started acting up and water was going out the pressure relief valve at the top and draining from the pipe. Chris and Shane from Right Choice came and accessed the job . They were approved through my home warranty coverage. Yesterday they were scheduled to come and replace the unit as it was too old to repair anything. Chris texted me to let me know that they would be late getting to my home because of an issue at the job prior to mine. I thought they would probably postpone until the next day, but they did not. They came over, although late, and stayed until they finished the job. The installation of the new water heater is great, good quality workmanship. Amazing service and worth every star if not more. The compressor on my AC unit wasn't working and I had to go through a Home Warranty company to have a service provider assigned and a new part ordered. As it turns out Right Choice was the right choice. Once the part was received Chris and Shane arrived at what was probably the end of their workday and started working on the unit late into the evening which by then required a flashlight. Was referred to Right Choice by a home protection provider. Our A/C was not cooling much in the very hot weather. Right Choice determined it was a slow freon leak. Our warranty sent us right choice air conditioning and plumbing to help with our plumbing needs . We explained we had a stopage in the main water line and all they did was come out and stick a snake in our toilet then removed the toilet and never checked anything else because they didn't have the equipment for anything else. He sent another technician the next day whom basically came to do the same thing the owner Chris did and this time damaged our brand new toilets . I called Chris and sent him photos of the damage and all he did was deny all damages and then had his technician call me to deny the damages as well . He later came to my home to look at the damages and still denied they damages our toilets. He refused to replace or take care of any damages . He said it would cost him more to go through his insurance but still said they didn't do it so they would cover damages . Worst customer service I have ever dealt with! THEY ARE A SCAM. they just want the check from warranty and not fix anything! They also left a complete mess and poured the toilet water in the shower and just left it there . The Old Republic insurance paid for itself when it replaced one of my AC units (4 ton). Chris/Right Choice got the call and came out in 115+ heat, checked out the unit and crawled up in the attic. Smart guy. Knows his stuff. Getting the replacement unit took a little while (common these days), but it got installed yesterday. read more

I will only use Chris and his tech in the future. They are miracle workers! Chris was originally sent by my home warranty company. SoCal gas had been out to do a check on all our gas appliances so had turned off the gas to the water heater and had been unable to reignite the pilot light. The first company sent by the warranty company was unable to reignite my water heater and recommended replacing the entire tank but didn't have time on their schedule. So the warranty company called Chris who came out the next day and was able to reignite the pilot light despite it being old and finicky. The following month, the gas was turned off again for a different issue, and of course, those techs couldn't get the pilot light to turn on. I called Chris (after 5pm) in a panic as I had guests coming the next morning. He said he would come by later that evening. He did and was able to get the pilot light back on. This past weekend, the garbage disposal stopped working. Chris wasn't available so I called RotoRooter. Their tech said that the disposal was full of broken ceramic pieces and was dead but there was no issues with the draining of the kitchen sink so I didn't have him replace the disposal as I have a home warranty that could do it. But then the next evening, the dishwasher drained into the kitchen sink and was in danger of overflowing onto the floor. RotoRooter did not have any available techs so I called Chris. He said they could come by in 2 hours, and they did! His tech was able to unclog the disposal and get it working again! Miracle workers! read more

Amazing amazing. I have a warranty company for my rental property in Desert Hot Springs and I called them when the AC wasn't working. They kept sending out people who couldn't diagnose the problem or would do some awful patch work. I knew Chris from previous meticulous work he had done for me (painting, cabinets, plumbing, electrical). He came right out, cleaned , repaired and replaced everything in record time in 100 degree heat. He even complied with the warranty companies paperwork because he keeps excellent documentation, which authorized him as an outside contractor but would allow me to be reimbursed. My A/C Furnace unit went out late Sunday afternoon. I contacted Chris via a referral. He said he could stop by on Monday afternoon. Sure enough, on Monday afternoon Chris and his assistant arrived. They conducted a diagnostics on the unit and determined what was wrong with the system. The nice thing was....he had the part in his truck.
